Hiball, Thanks for this. I just joined, needing some guidance on parts and "how-to" on a Walker 767. If I recall correctly, my Dad bought it about 1954, and I now want to PM it, and give it to my son. Dad was fond of big hammers and punches, but notches look in pretty good condition. Know he did a repair, since I found a repair kit receipt....for $12.00! I did see, as a guest, your thread of making a spanner type end on a socket. Confused, since I see a notched part right against the piston rod, but then another, larger notched part, between that one-which screws into the top of the tank. make sense? I have some sets of #'s I got off the pump base.
If you wouldn't mind, what is my next step?
Thanks!
PS This site looks very useful......Happy Thanksgiving to all!
