I am just getting my 40x60 garage completed. Got my CO last week and pavers are going down now. I am lazy and feel like I don't have enough wall space. I say I am lazy because I have seen central vac options that have a reel to roll up hoses and I just don't want to do that nor take up the wall space. Also those reels just don't wind things up well without taking a lot of care. I found this product called Hide A Hose which the hose is stored in the central vac piping. It seems very cool! I picked up my central vac unit yesterday and the parts for the hide a hose will be here tomorrow (you have to use their fittings in order to store your hose). I am going to do my best to document the process so everyone can check it out. I don't think its very cost effective as I have about $800 rolled up in this thing without the time and energy to install. The central vac was about $250 and the hide a hose parts are $616.25 including a 60' hose. I think its a cool idea and I like to test things in the garage and perhaps incorporate them in my current home or future home
