High Flow Air Connectors?

I just became aware of high flow couplers and plugs. I love that they have a larger ID for more air flow, however I can't find anyone who makes high flow hose barb fittings to match. All of my hoses came with 1/4" NPT fittings, however their ID is small compared to the high flow connectors.
Has anyone been able to find high flow hose barb fittings?

All hoses that come with 1/4 NPT connectors that are not high flow.

Parker makes plugs and couplers with built in hose barbs. And FWIW I wouldn't worry about the inside diameter of the 1/4" NPT hose barbs restricting flow. I personally prefer the fittings with integral hose barbs because they're more compact and one less joint to leak.

Not all 1/4" barb fitting have same ID. Look at what you have and upgrade where needed. Some fitting can have ID drilled, others not. Some pre-made hoses have fitting with larger ID than easily available barb fittings.

A real 0.250" fitting ID is close to Milton 'V' high flow connector ID.

Just the V connectors are a big improvement over the 'M'. A hose reel will be your biggest restriction.

You are not that "special" where standard barbs won't work for you. Even fitting restrictions rarely hurt tools.
