I switched over my fittings because it was all the rage, didn't notice any difference except a drain on the wallet and bigger fittings to get in the way

No problem. Everyone that I recommend high flows to as felt the difference right off the bat like I did. I wish I found them sooner lol

Have had them for a few years now and there is absolutely a difference with the way the tools work, more power.

Milton has a chart that shows cfm flow rate through their various coupler styles. A 1/4" M is good for 40 cfm. I bought them in bulk from toolsource.com. Great prices. I replaced everything with Milton in my shop. All USA made. No leaks. I like the coilhose pneumatics hoses.

The ones I bought aren't the "Milton" brand. Not sure what they but everything I have ever bought from that place has been top notch. It's a local store by me called "TENNCO" that builds pneumatic/hydraulic lines for places. Basically if it deals with high pressure air or fluid transfer....they do it

I switched to Milton from import ****. They are much better. No leaks.

I'm a Milton user as well, but the V style fittings that I bought recently at Northern Tool were made in Taiwan, so Milton isn't all US made.

50 ft is fairly long in air hoses especially in small sizes. On a heavy 1/2 impact it can lose up to 15#, changing out a fitting maybe a pound improvement but,,,, just because its psychological doesn't mean its not real. Kind of like painting something, seems to run so much better after.

Want USA? Try Parker RF fittings (cheapest is Zoro when they have their sales). http://ph.parker.com/us/en/quick-couplings-pneumatic-up-to-300-psi-high-flow-european-interface-rf-series-*******/rf-254-6mp

... I used to have an extra [pancake regulator] off a compressor. Those things are TINY. There is no way they flow well....

Another recent poster spoke of a pot metal regulator that shattered, so where could we buy maybe good alu or other metal-bodied regulators that flow well? I have a Husky 8 gal with mystery metal p/s and reg.

... Before I ever fired it up, I pulled all the plumbing from the tank, and upped the 1/4" stem to the pressure switch with a 3/8" tee, with a 3/8" shutoff valve straight to a 3/8" coupler....

How did you do that?

I use Milton Type G connections. A lot harder to connect than the 3/8 industrials I had but a lot beefier end.
