High flow quick coupler

I have a bottleneck in my air system. I have a quick disconnect at the compressor and it is a 3/8" NPT to a 1/4 coupler.
So I want a 1/2" NPT to !/2" coupler for my flex line.
I am not too concerned with compatibility with other fittings
I am cheap so nothing too expensive.
What do you recommend?

I saw a pressure washer fitting that is 3/8" but there isn't a valve so it should flow well. $4 for both ends.

+2 on the Milton V-series high-flo couplers. I switched everything in my shop over to them.

So you can use the industrial plugs in the V series.

They have pretty much every Milton fitting. V style with 3/8ths thread are probably what you want.

Have nothing bit problems with Milton v style. I changed my whole setup away from ten I had so many failures in a year. 8 female fittings needed replacing

Not into being whipped but I have that covered. Compressor has a shut off right next to it and it is easy enough to drain the system. But you would have to do that with any 1/2" coupler.

Back to standard style miltons.
Haven't noticed much tool performance dropage.....
Maybe my big 1/2 and 3/4 gun I use for semi truck tires, nothing else suffered noticible loss

$20is pricey but not terrible. What is the flow rate? I want 70 scfm or better.

They would stick opent random and you'd have to mess with them to seal up, or sometimes would blow out full speed and nothing you could do would fix them

I have picked a couple up from Granberry, they are a hydraulic hose and supply house.

Got a couple from different mines I have worked at.

zkdiesel is the man. I got my present yesterday and now I've got to go converting some of my stuff over.

Use a 1/2 hydraulic swivel, about 3 dollars. I wouldn't need a quick off the unit, screwed is good.
