Hinsdale, IL ?
Nope.....
The Hinsdale Manufacturing Company was founded in 1919 by Fred W. Miller, and operated initially in Hinsdale, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The founding date can confirmed by at least two sources: a reprinted early advertisement in AWM2e, and a 1947 Hinsdale catalog that provides a brief company history.
I have a liking for them but have only one socket and it seems to be pretty old.

Not as old as my set... Nah.. Nah.. nahnah 1922 FTW.![]()
Those are cool but could you imagine having to use them, not sure they're as user friendly as the new stuff.
Do an experiment, bring that set into work for one week and use only them where you can, report back.
The ones with the raised logo are cool.

Highball, those are much older than 1922. I have a socket set that my great grandpa bought around WW1 and it's a ratchet like yours, but the sockets are like the one that J.A.F.E. posted.
