Hello everyone,
About two years ago me and a few friends went in and rented the stock house of the Historic Lemp brewery ( I think it was the fermenting plant for a while) to work on our projects..I live in the city of Saint Louis and like most metro areas I don't have room at my home to work on my stuff so this is the reason I rent this space. I'm currently building a traditionally styled 1951 ford, working on my 52 F1 ford truck and waiting to build 31 roadster... in addition to other metal workings and silly projects. I'm in no way an amazing mechanic, body man,or fabricator anything else, just a dreamer trying to make some cool stuff... here are some pics of my workshop

Cleaned the floors in my spot and put down a water based clear for the flooring...nothing fancy just for light reflection...

While I beat my head against the wall, constantly changing things on my shoebox I bought a 1952 ford truck to fool with...nice little cruiser with a Sbf and OD transmission..

Every so often when we hit Gus's I like to drive around and think of the history that has happened in that building. Thanks for the internal view!

Ive walled my self in,not because I dont trust anyone in my shop but just because of all the foot traffic... for others that come in. I know how interested people are and just dont want any of my stuff kicked around or even something falling...

My ghetto gate (for now)

Thats a great old complex . Have you guys explored it underground ? There is a tunnel that goes to the mansion .

How big is the space that you rent ?

I plead the 5th on some of those questions :D
I know they do all kinds of tours and the history and travel channel are out here quite a bit not to mention the haunted house is in are building and goes through
quite a bit on the Brewery.
My spot is 19" x 60"

Im surprised no one has broke in stole your stuff..
that area of the city is going down hill... quick!

Cause no ones shop is susceptible to that? I feel sorry for anyone who does, the guys in here are rowdy not to mention ones a city fireman...
Thanks for your positive thoughts and go cubs... :D :lol_hitti

Congrats on making the front page in less than a day, though I'm not surprised. This place is dripping with character. And I've gotta say, you have a good eye for old iron. Makes me feel like getting back at my old Willys pickup.

Nice work, love the space

It is great that you can find a group that can commite to this kind of project building. I can see down the the road ...that your group will become very well known in the area.

Whoo who sweet set up

Talk about a place with character ! I guess the temperature is fine for a good chunk of the year, but what about winter? Any way to warm the place up any?

Love it and great photos....

Just gave this 5 stars purely based on your awesome photo skills involving cars. Good luck and keep the coolness coming.
