be aware, HD has a couple versions of their ad for different parts of the country. mainly to due to supply constraints. years back I was set on getting something from a leaked ad, to only have a different ad for my market

Feel free to correct me but I'm not impressed. It looks like many of those deals are running right now too.

If you're into basic headlamps the 2-pack of Coasts looks ok, but not worth getting up early for LOL

They have never been open on thanksgiving day before. Hopefully they won't start now

Strange - just looked at the BF ad and it states "Open Friday at 6AM. Closed Thanksgiving Day. Maybe they updated it or that BF website shows different versions for different parts of the country??

Weird the 199 Milwaukee packout set isnt in there.

The Pack-Out is set for the "Pro Black Friday' Event on the 13th. It was on the website for a few hours the other day, but was pulled. Stores have it in stock, but are holding it for that event. Should be able to go in the night before and grab one.

The online sale starts at 5am on Friday - last year it was actually live before that (around midnight if memory serves me, maybe 1-2am). The stores are closed on Thanksgiving and open at 6am on Friday. It's actually a nice setup assuming they offer what you're looking for online (last year the majority of the door busters were available online - at least the ones I was interested in). I ended up buying a bunch of stuff online, then picked up in-store at the end of the day. No lines, no walking around the store - they just brought out a dolly with my order and I walked out.

That said, not seeing a lot that makes me super excited here - kind of standard stuff. The 46" tool box / workbench seems ok, but I'm not up to speed on the quality of the husky boxes compared to others in the same range - I'd be more interested in that if it had more drawers. Any of the bundled battery deals are usually a good bet, but those and the majority of the power tool deals are not exclusive to BF. Some are available now, most of them will be available after the fact. I bought a similar Shockwave bit set last year, well worth the $10. The 8 piece Bosch spade bit set is a good grab at $5, I got one last year, might grab another as a back up because, well $5. I grabbed one of the gorilla ladder platforms last year - also a winner at $20, although I want to say it was a buck or two cheaper last year, but I can't remember. Both 2-pack saw blade offers are decent for the price.

Honestly, standard fair stuff, a lot of retread from last year. Solid deals for some stuff, especially if you need it, but nothing that pops the eyes our of your head.

I need to pick up a shop vac for my blast cabinet; can anyone comment on the Ridgid vac in the add vs. the Craftsman offerings at Sears or Ace Hardware?

regardless of the specs for a blast cabinet I'd prefer a stainless bucket. Whichever between Cman & Ridgid is made by Emerson (not all the current cman ones are I think), has the specs you want and a stainless bucket, go for that.

apples to apples I'd go with Ridgid every time. But that may not help you much in this situation.

I walked around the store last year and the only thing I bought was a heavy duty Gorilla Ladder platform. I usually buy the stuff I'm kind of on the fence about once they start marking them down. I will say though, it was hard to walk away from the Ridgid miter saw stand.

There are a few decent deals again, but nothing to get excited about.

This year is so underwhelming.. Was really hoping to find a decent price on the 60inch Milwaukee work bench - not even in this ad. Anyone know if it's gonna be on sale? Pretty surprised, figured they would have a bunch of stock and make a good deal on it.

Dont know if they carry the 60 anymore. Was expecting 46 deep in the ad not the old 46 combo. The 52 mobile is nice. I have 60, 52, 46, and 30 Milwaukee boxes.

I was hoping for a tool chest combo for a good deal, I was disappointed to see the 36" that's been $298 for a while now offered in the ad for $348.

I have a lot of HDs in a short drive. They are all loaded to the gills with boxes, some have 2 or 3 times as many as they had over the summer. Unless lowes has a killer deal my next hope is to snag one when they have to clear them out in January.

The Husky workbench for $199 looks good to me :D

I grabbed a couple of these last year when they were $199. For the price its hard not to buy.

Biggest gripe is the drawer action, its unbalanced left to right and has a weird (annoying) pull out feature? I actually think they would work better with 80+lbs in each drawer.

Overall its tons of storage at a very low cost. Drawer config works great for me ie not just auto mechanic but woodworker, metal fab, etc....

Ive less than a year with them, so durability is still unknown.

Is the Husky 20 gallon compressor for $179 a decent deal? I need a compressor for typical homeowner garage use like impact gun, air ratchet, etc.

IDK about the price (deal or not) but it's amusing they advertise it as a "quiet compressor". Oil-less compressors are L-O-U-D. It won't take long before you wished you had waited and bought an oil-lubricated one.

Everyone cries about this every year. Many people FIGHT to work Thanksgiving. Most stores do time and a half for any volunteers, and HD did something like 2.5 times regular pay last year. The associates I talked to were overjoyed to make 3 days pay in 1 day, and just planned to do Thanksgiving dinner instead of lunch.

Anybody know if you can get the special ryobi Impact wrench kit as the free item when you buy the brushless hammer drill. It would definitely sweeten the deal if so.

Picked up these two sets today. Pretty good price. Should last me until next BF, unless I lose them somewhere.

Maybe it got taken down. Home Depot is notorious for not wanting it leaked or released early.

I did a search on google and I saw it.. it’s rather a sad and a waste of time.. only decent thing i saw was the google home but I’m sure someone else will beat them on price

Hello all

There looks like an Milwaukee M12 kit with plastic case, charger, battery and 1/2 hammer drill for $99. Its on the floor now as part of pre Black Friday sale. Last year I picked up a 2 tool M12 kit. Was looking to add this piece. Do you guys think this is a good price? I see a tool only runs $99.

It's been talked about, but it depends on what you need. First off, these are 1st Gen Fuel models, just so no one is confused. 2nd Gen will be released next month, per Milwaukee.

If you need both, you could consider getting the Hammer Drill & Impact kit for $200 which you get a free tool with (up to $99), and comes with a 4ah & 2ah battery, rather than the two 2ah you would end up if buying with the organizer.

if you are only looking for one or the other, it's a pretty good. The lowest I saw new M12 Fuel Hammer Drill was ~$60 on Amazon, but that didn't last long.

Kinda hard for them to have done that considering they were closed on Thanksgiving last year.

The Home Depot is closed on Thanksgiving Day. Furthermore, holiday pay is given out as an extra 8 hours on your paycheck for full timers vs an extra 4 hours for part timers.

Also right now in the holiday stuff they’ve got the yellow 2”x27’ ratchet straps at $8.88, Husky branded. Anything under $10 ea is great for any strap of this variety. Although last year for BF TSC did ‘em $7 ea and free shipping on BF only, if’n you didn’t want to go to the store. The handles on the Huskys look nicer, though.

If you own a real-man trailer get after it!
