Just now getting into the home depot thing so please excuse my ignorance. If the website says the full price is there any point in going to the store?

Depends. What are you looking at? If it's nails, go check the clearance section around the tools. Supplies are getting low in most places.

If it's any other clearance, read the first and 3rd post on this thread:

The issue I am having on the nails is that they are listed for $2 and then when I put them in my cart, it goes to full price. I have tried several stores and keep having this issue

Finally found a clearance section in our local store, a big jumbled pile out in the outdoor garden center under a tented section! All the old Ryobi trimmers, and lots of other stuff.

Picked up a bunch of stuff I didn't need, 1.99 for kevlar lawn mower drive and deck belts. 3$ for 42" john deere deck blades (3 pack). 20" chainsaw bars/chains for some cheap price (didn't fit my stihl unfortunately). Ridgid oscillating tool head with multi blade pack inside for 4$.

Let me help you out. I did it from Manhattan, NY. 69th street or something like that. I think there were 2 Bostitch and 1 grip rite that were able to order with shipping.

I hope I don't just get an envelope filled with crumpled yellow paper

After I saw the post I headed up to my local store. I saw it there earlier priced $82.06 but didn't scan it. Went back tonight and it scanned $28.03! Nice!

Ridgid Jobmax head? I love the Jobmax. I have the pneumatic one, with 3 heads so far. I want the jigsaw and reciprocating saw heads.

I wonder if HD will process these orders or they will get canceled as a pricing error. I'm tempted to get in on the deal though.

I wouldn't be surprised if the process small orders. I'm betting that my 2 orders of 90 boxes each are gonna get cancelled.

2 days ago I made 2 orders that have shipped already. One was 5 boxes for $2 each and the other was 2 boxes for $5 each.
I made another order yesterday for 2 boxes for $2 each and they just shipped.

I went in for my first attempt yesterday. Spotted the Bessey 4x2" Clamps for 1.33$ and thought "Alright! .x3 price!" Sadly, it was too early so they rang up for 1.33$. I still bought them all though because it's a good deal and I can always use more of them. I got like 20 when Lowes decided to drop Bessey last year.

I wonder though, maybe I'm missing some main clearance area? In my local store, there's one crappy end cap near the bathrooms that had a few hand warmers, and delta faucets and some gloves. Nothing there was a x.x3 price either. Mostly x4 and x0 prices. The clamps I actually found just in their normal spot right by the other clamps with the yellow tag. I saw the Dewilt tool boxes everyone's been getting great deals on and they were all full price. It could just be that my store *****, or that I totally didn't understand the thread explaining how to do this.

Anyhow it was still fun and now I've got a new game to play at Home Depot and yet another reason to stop in all the time to browse the tools!

Every Home Depot around here has 3 clearance racks. 1 for faucets and bath stuff, 1 for electrical/lighting, and 1 for tools.

I was only able to order about 5 boxes online. I needed to get some other stuff, so making the $49 was not an issue

Hit up nearest HD and no luck on nails.

However, they had cart of HEAVY CLEARANCE lumber near the commercial checkout. Cashier tried hawking me the whole cart for $10 and it had scrap of plywood, 10 sheets of sheetrock, and small pile of crown molding. Sheetrock had some broken edges but made deal with her for $1 for 5 of the best sheets !! Yep 5 sheets of 1/2" sheetrock for $1.08 with tax . . . . and 4 of those sheets were 4 ft x 10 ft !! Guess I bagged a minature unicorn !! ;)

Stepping on the first step sets the orange ladder on solid ground; pressing a flat lever with your foot raises the orange ladder allowing the orange ladder to roll to the desired location. Sometimes I skip the first step because it engages loudly.

Oh ****. My first order of 90 boxes of nails just got shipped. Apparently it's coming by some tractor trailer delivery company called NEMF - New England Motor Freight

Wow nice score. Been trying to find the small one for less than full price. No luck around here

I have about 12 more on my radar that HD would not price match last week. Going back Saturday W/receipt proof in hand and/or going to buy them and do a return / rebut at a near by store.

It all comes down to the employees.......

Today I wore my Home Depot hat....... I think it made all the difference!

I just got two DS 400s. Detailing supplies are kept in one (keeps the dust off the microfibers) and the other one is used for temporary tool storage for various projects around the house. They are very nice boxes and so worth it at $18.00 each!
