All the stores around me are still stuck on the 75.06 price.....even 1 store that doesn't show them on the price check app.

Were these on a special cart or something? Or are they still on the shelves?

They had them all on a pallet with shrink-wrap on it back in receiving. I think they didn't have room for all of it out in the store (smaller store), so they put them back there to get them out of the way. I saw them in stock on the computer and I asked where they were and they let me back there to sort through whatever I wanted.

That is the way to do it, look up item on the HD computer and the hut begins. That how I found the DeWalt boxes. It showed zero it stock online and I have not seen them in that store for 6 months. First time checking the computer and bingo up in the rafters they were.

You purchased from a store with stock and took it to another store with a lower price but no stock?

Is it weird that stores are all clearance out different stuff? My local HD has tons of the DeWalt boxes for full price.

I believe that's the whole point of return/rebuy. If the store with the lower price actually had any in stock, then why would I bother buying from the higher price store?

Rafters, rafters, rafters! All of my nailers tonight were found in the rafters. The manager wanted to keep the Ridgid, so I offered to pay the last clearance price which was 50. That was fair. Then the Porter Cable also didn't show up in inventory, so he just said, "how does 30 bucks sound?" They rang it up using a SKU from something in gardening to avoid it getting flagged in the system somehow. Also found a cart full of .50 cent nails....A few hundred pounds worth.
If you notice one of my Bostitch nailers, it was a display...It still had the wire lock holding it to the wall bracket...The girl at the checkout couldnt figure out how to remove it, so it's mine now, I guess.

I get the part about the rafters, what I don't understand is how you can get to what's behind the stuff towards the front(that you can easily see from the ground) I know HD won't let you get up on their orange ladders, so do you befriend an associate and ask him to paw around up there for you?

No just tell them you want to buy that stuff up there and they get it for you. Some of them scan it and notice that's its on clearance.

But I rather scan them myself.

+10 points on the wall bracket. You're ahead of us all.

Funny thing is the store I was in...All of the nailers were in the same aisle as the ladders that were on sale...So...I walked over to the ladders, grabbed one, and used it to climb up and take what I wanted.
