Finally grabbed the elusive backpack sprayer. Right in plain sight. Pink promo sticker staring right at me. Store just did inventory so it's been great finding the deals because everything is so clean and stacked neatly. Thought they would have pulled them during inventory but I guess it's not their job. They just scan UPC's and move on.

Lucky you! Aka (you ****) just kidding. I have looked everywhere trying to find one of those things, glad you found one to keep my hope alive! ☺

I tried so hard to find something good to share with all you guys today but no luck, found nothing but more light bulbs! I did find myself a coil framing nailer but NOT marked down yet so I'll have to wait. Eventually I'll find a good deal to share ...

Beginning of rant.

Earlier today, I finally settled an issue that began on the 16th! Found a cartload of hitachi nails in an HD tool rental department. Of course they were all ringing up a penny. The SCO attendant called the head clerk over. She came over with a ****** attitude, took the cart, and started walking off with it. When I asked what she was doing with my cart, she blurted out "We can't sell these to you for a penny. We have to look up the price. " She then went over to the pro computer an proceeded to change the prices from 01¢ to between $1 & $5. I was on the phone to CS by the time she got to the computer. A lot of good that did me, as the woman I spoke to said the same thing. Well, since the head clerk was do ****** to me, I let her go through all 40+ boxes of nails, looking them up and changing the prices. When she was done, I told her they could keep them. I left pissed, but quickly forgot about it.
Tuesday morning I got a call from a store manager. He asked me about Sunday, and said he would look for the cart and call me back. When that didn't happen after a few hours, I called him. When I spoke to the manager on duty, he said they wanted to resolve the situation. Great, I thought, until their idea of resolution was to offer to sell me the nails for the same F<|}#%g $1 to $5!!! That they would call me to waste my time with that **** really pissed me off.
I called CS, and spoke to another woman who confirmed that proper procedure would have been to sell me what was in my cart for the 01¢ it scanned at. She was supposed to escalate the issue, and try to get the store to honor the price. Never heard from her again. I'd also sent an email to CS, so I knew there'd be a record. After 1 phone call and a promised follow up, nothing.
After a couple more phone calls to CS, yesterday and today, I'm actually going to get that cartload of nails - for free. The store manager also confirmed that company policy is to sell penny items that customers find. He also admitted that he didn't know this before.
Funny thing is that I'd let it go, until they called me up to give another go at selling me the nails at up to 500 times what's in the system, as a favor to me. And the entire customer service team, outside of Danielle, was pathetic, and did nothing but make this worse.

Rant over.

You'll have to forgive the typos guys. I'm in a waiting room typing on my phone.

Not a clearance deal but. Seriously considering returning the fluo bulbs I bought the other day and getting these instead. Just need to verify the ballast that is in the fixtures will work with these bulbs.

I'll be very interested to hear what you find out. LEDs shouldn't need a starter ballast at all. Wonder if you could bypass it? If that's possible. They'd make a great way to fix a fixture when a ballast goes bad.

These are designed to work with the ballast so you don't need to rewire, so I should contact Phillips to see if the ballast I have isn't compatible, will they work if wired direct, or do they need the ballast.

The fixtures I have are new, so if my ballast is compatible I am not worried, but once the ballast goes bad, I would like to just rewire and not have to replace the ballast to keep using the bulbs.

EDIT, a quick google search leads me to believe they won't work without the ballast.

Found 10 of the Milwaukee meters high on the shelves... unfortunately they are still ringing $97.06 or something like that. Will have to keep an eye on them, hopefully they will drop soon.

I posted the 5k version of those LED's in lighting and electrical last week and they do require a ballast. I bought two bulbs in the store to try and then bought two cases online. Nice bright white light for the 5k bulbs and a direct replacement in my Lithonia fixtures.

I would prefer the 5k if they weren't so much more money. How much did you pay?

Glad to hear they work with the Lithonia lights. I might pick up a 10 pack plus 2 singles to do my 4 3 bulb lights.

I bought two of the 33.03 milwaukee digital multimeters yesterday. One for my FIL and one for me. When I dropped it off I told him to make sure it worked (the packaging had seen some abuse). He opened it and tested an outlet and it read fine. Ohm test seemed of an couldn't get the continuity to beep. Looking at the manual it said it beeps below 50 ohms for continuity. Open up the battery hatch and its corroded as all hell. So the board is probably got some stuff on it. I can't believe they ship these with the batteries installed.

Open mine up. Try to turn it on and DOA. Open the hatch and the batteries are nearly a 1/4 covered in corrosion. Going to call milwaukee today to see if they will warranty them. Just be warned these shipped from the factory with batteries installed and they have been sitting a long time.

Can't find these anymore. I should probably hurry and order them then before they get taken down...

Damnit, just realized the singles are in store only...

Your gonna get a lot of eBay buyers giving bad reviews to anyone who sells them online. Since they are sealed in those tamper proof clear packs your not going to know if the battery's are damaged.

Milwaukee should take good care of you. I just saw another post on another forum where something failed on a tool and they fixed the problem plus gave him a few free tools to smooth things over. I was really surprised to be honest.

Did you buy the set you pictured? I assume since that looks like a car seat but I was going to say if you didn't price check them at SCO you might want to because that tag is decently old, they might already be penny.

Yeah I bought the set. If I can snag the others for a penny I'll grab em for my wife's SUV

I see a meter in the above picture haha.

Did you verify the price on that drill set? Not sure if they are still at first level or not, but again that tag is from a decent while ago...

I can't recall but it wasn't a meter I dug through everything but didn't see any meters. Only one I'd want is the clamp one anyhow.

Saw this Makita grinder while browsing the store. Store price is still the same as the tag. Don't know if it's a good yet or not.

Picked up one of these clamp meters at the $33.03 price today as well as a Chamberlain HD930EV 1.25HP garage door opener for $186 in Monticello, MN. We currently have the craftsman version of this in our current house and have been very happy so wanted to put one in our new house with the battery backup.

Got my first and probably last penny deal by accident.
I am working on setting up my garage again after an aborted move, I recently purchased some shop lights on clearance, I believe they were $10.98 each marked down from $39.98.
I could use just one more for above my work benches so I have been looking while I'm out and about.
Today I found just one, which is great but, it came up a penny at check-out and quite frankly I didn't feel that was fair so I offered to pay the last clearance price, the SCO called the manager but, he wouldn't do it, so a penny it was and I still feel guilty.
I did feel better about the 10 pack of bulbs for $10.03, I need 3 for this light and still needed 4 for ones that are already hung so now I have 3 spares, all for a real great price.

This is now $10.03 locally. I just bought mine for $15 last week so I'm gonna see if they'll refund the difference. They do that within 30 days or something correct?

The 52" Tool Chest is now $149.03 NONE in my area at all.

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-52...ool-Cabinet-Set-Black-HOTC5218B1QES/204825971

And my score of the day. What got me started on this thread was trying to get T8 bulbs for my garage. I found the 10pk at $32 3 weeks ago and offered store manager $100 for 6 boxes and was turned down. Picked up 7 boxes today for $10.03 ea and got another 10% military discount.
