It is hard to believe that all those large pressure washers can just walk away, but it happens.

Both my stores have them marked down to $29, show 0 in stock and cant find any either. Unfortunate, because i was actually in the market for a pressure washer. Now i do have to pay full price :(

Try walking into receiving to take a quick peek at the shelves in there for the missing pressure washers. If an employee questions you, just say you're looking for the bathroom

but if he takes them and get caught on camera he may be in trouble.

Hey guys, I was able to get a roll of this speaker wire for 1 cent. I've noticed that some stores have it for full price, and some have it pennied out. So just type the sku into the HD app when you're at the store. If it says "ship to store" and "ship to home" then it should be a penny. If it says "# in stock", then it's full price.

Got my first penny items today! SCO cashier took them out of my bag and did something with them (unsure what, I was paying). She brought them right back as my receipt was printing. She was really nice and said I couldn't return them because they rang at a penny. Unsure what that is about...

I have no need for the nails, but couldn't leave them in the shelf at only a penny. Send IM if you could use them and are willing to pay shipping.

She probably marked out the barcode and pulled a price sticker off.

I have seen this many times. They pull the items and ship them out and do not update the inventory. When you look it up on the store computer and it does not show a location, that is probably what happened. That does not mean you cannot get lucky and find them on a pallet somewhere on a shelf. But that is the exception.

The power washers looks remarkably similar to the Ryobi power washer, honda powered. I bought one this Summer and have used it 3-4 times with no issues.

Lol. I used the Ryobi box to check what was missing on the Homelite I picked up.

Got a free Pegasus faucet (not found in system) and another cs-330 saw. However it was a repaired item. Found it outside in the garden area. Probably should have left it another week and got it when it went penny. Guarantee they wouldn't have picked it up, especially since inventory on them was 0.

Curse this thread, lol. Local home depot shows 4 pressure washers and 5 chainsaws. After an hour, no luck finding either. In this store, everything overhead was labelled clearly and easy to see so I don't think they are on the back of a pallett etc. Sigh.

I'm in Florida for a week. Stopped by the Venice and North Port stores. Zero chainsaws or backpack blowers. Asked the associate in North Port where the customer use computer was. She looked at me like I had two heads. There was a light fixture with a .07 clearance tag dated 2/2014. I figured I definately found a penny item.......WRONG. Still the same clearance price. :eyecrazy:

Heading towards Sarasota tonight or tomorrow.

found a echo PB 500t today for the clearance price of 80.03 so I get home open it up and parts are missing air filter, cover, cover screws, throttle mounts and one of the tubes parts total is 41 plus shipping from e-replacement..so I go back and ask for more money off the best they would do is 10% more, I still feel like I got a good deal and yes I found out is was the display model...

Check your local power equipment shops. Mine had all pipes, the same missing cover and screws, and the filter in stock. Their prices were pretty much exactly the same as e-replacement.

Those with the missing parts, were they in a sealed box or a display item?

Just picked up one of the Homelite/Honda pressure washers at the Mount Laural, NJ store. It was in the rafters, wrapped in plastic. It appeared to be the display model, missing the hose, manuals, and whatever oil and cleaner it comes with. I asked if they'd pull the hose off the return it was wrapped up with. They tried, but when they couldn't, they offered to give me a new one. Cool. Turns out, the hose they threw in, was a $55 hose. Nobody had scanned it, so no one realized the washer was only $29. Don't think they would have thrown in the hose if they did. The look on the cashiers face was priceless, especially since it still had the $329 tag hanging from the grip.

Their computer says they still have 3 washers left. There was one up high with the one I got, but it was clearly a return - the hose was soldered on. I couldn't find the other 2 anywhere in the store.

Do you check any other NJ stores? Might head over to Lawnside or Deptford but never had any luck with finding deals at HD.

Yes I did. Probably hit about 9 or 10 in central Jersey. There was one other that supposed to have one, but it was nowhere to be found. I can't remember which store that was. I did hit both you mentioned, and found nothing there. Most in the area were supposed to have at least 1 echo chainsaw and/or blower, but I couldn't find one of them anywhere.

Home Lite and Ryobi are both part of TTI. They also own Milwaukee

This was me. Waiting on the parts, but they said 5-7 business days.
