There was no SKU on the box at all. At the register the attendant looked it up online, and tried to sell it to me for that price under a generic SKU per the manager's instructions. When it popped up on my register with GENERIC SKU - $150.00, I said no thanks, but I'll take the faucet for the penny. Attendant just said to take it, no charge. Even went back in to offer $50 for the shower/tub set since I know they used a generic SKU, but the manager wouldn't do it. I may try to find it again at another time, but I doubt they'll put it somewhere that I'll be able to find it again. Although this is the same store that STILL has the penny grill on a pallet above the wheelbarrows outside from 4 months ago that was "to be donated." I haven't tried for it again yet.

Ya, some managers are generous on "not found" stuff. I had gotten a faucet a few months back for free.

Try for the grill again!! Ask why it hasn't been donated yet :lol_hitti

Who was it on here that saw a penny lawn mower in top stock that Mgr wouldn't sell to them and said they were gonna donate?

I scrolled back twenty pages and didn't see it.

Water bottles must have just dropped yesterday. They were still 2.32 or 4.32 I can't remember here on Sunday.

I think it was stonerado, and it was a grill. He just mentioned it again yesterday.

Got the hole saws BTW. Many thanks!

What is the sku on the grill?

I believe it's 1000-003-864. I don't remember brand or actual model number since I haven't looked at it real close since finding out that it's either a penny or just completely not in the system anymore. I just walk by the wheelbarrows and peek up to see if it's still there.

Yup, I was told it's being donated...and it's still there 2 months later. I need to try again when I've got room in my truck to load it.

I just found out that Malibu lighting filed for chapter 11, so be on the lookout for any Malibu products (landscape lighting) to be on clearance/penny status very soon. A lot of the outdoor lighting was on clearance anyway, but just a heads up.

Local store shows inventory on them, but I couldn't find them in store... Granted I didn't look that hard but they should stick out.

I bought the base cabinets and the 28" wall cabinets. They are pretty cheaply built. Thin metal and flimsy. I would definitely not pay full price for them. OK for light garage duty though.

Got a Scotts nozzle that I've been looking for and some Centech connectors. The store insisted they can't sell penny items so they gave them to me.

Picked up a 20V B&D cordless string trimmer for $25 (with larger battery). I'm going to give it to my dad for Christmas!

I passed on the 40V Ryobi...it feels really cheaply made, I don't need it, and I don't want to start another battery format. I'm trying to convince myself that I made the right decision. :)

The date on the tag is two years old. They wouldn't budge on it...................

Found another repair 500t. Didn't even bother trying as i can't find it in the system. At least the other store I tried had it in the system. (it wouldn't probably ring up as not found then I'd get to talk to another lovely manager over a refurb item)

I don't think I've seen this one posted. The computers at least in the 5-6 store i frequent dont' show a picture but it comes up as a clearance. The 14 piece is $10? This 21 piece is $12 and since there isn't a picture on the computer a lot still seem to be out there.

Scan the blower box at SCO and walk out the door :dunno:

Not sure what you are worried about here. You aren't going to find it in the system because it is a penny. Come on, you should know better than this :lol_hitti

I would bet you the penny that it rings up just fine.

I thought it would ring up a penny too. The last store I was at you could find the blower in the system for a penny. This store you can't. And usually when I can't find it in the system they ring out not found.

I don't know anything about the B'nPecker, but seems unlikely it can hold a candle to the power of the Ryobi. I've not had any problems w build quality, but I am careful not to drop it, or set it somewhere and step on it, or lever it weird while its laying in the back of my truck.

You're never going to step into a "high voltage" platform for less, but if you don't need it, you don't need it.

Well the shower/tub faucet set was in the exact place I found it in on Monday, so I took another shot. Went through self checkout playing dumb. All new personnel than Monday morning, but struck out again. They wanted $150 on a generic SKU. Oh well.

Get your *** back there and get your penny blower before it's gone.

I'll send you $40 for shipping plus a penny to cover the blower. Thanks!

This.

Some penny items stay in computer and show up and some don't. The fact that it's not in there doesn't mean a thing. The issue comes up when there is no box, but you have a box and a bar code, so there is no excuse to not get that blower.

I'll send you $50!
