I know, it was a tough call to pass on that Ryobi. I even rode around with it in my cart. I already have a B&D trimmer and blower with about 4 batteries, so I just couldn't do it.

WD40 is .01 I stopped in a store that I found a few of the tool boxes a month ago at. I just thought I would grab a few for the garage. Went to self check out and was pleasantly surprised. I paid for the 3 I had and dropped them in the car. Went right back in and cleared the shelf of the last 9. Self check out guy was a chatty guy who was not paying attention to anything. I thought he may stop me the second time through but just said have a good day.

In SoCal they went on clearance at the same time as the Echo Chainsaws (490 &590). Not all stores clearances them though. They have 18" ones too so I guess they decided to get rid of the 20". :confused:

Anywho, the story lol. When I was looking for the Echo ones, this store had 0 chainsaws. So I asked where they had them and the employee told me what i saw is what they had. So I hadn't been "shopping" in like almost 2 months. Last night I walked in the and just decided to walk around that area. I've read of items being there all of a sudden. Sure enough. They had chainsaws. Took it to self checkout and it rang up as a penny. :shocking: I went back and saw another on the higher shelf so I grabbed the yellow ladder and took that one too. Went back to SCO and bought it. The whole time the attendants were chit chatting so score! :thumbup: On my way out the security was like hey...didn't you just buy one of those? I said yeah. She just shook her head no and laughed..:3gears:

how do you know this stuff is a penny? is it marked or do you just have to take it up and scan it? I am missing something here. I want in on the fun. lol
