Schlage TouchScreen Connect Deadbolts on clearance in some stores.
690687 is 50.03 everywhere (or a penny)
690489 and 690621 are 50.03 in some stores, not others.
All used to be 199$
These are Z Wave compatible, and have a built in alarm that can work by itself.
You can make them alarm if someone messes with the lock or only if someone shakes the door.

The locks here in NJ are still $199

That's insane. The blower Spn1025 picked up for a penny is $299.99 at my Home Depot.

No, that blower is a penny in every single Home Depot. Only exception would be if it is reconditioned, then it would be "used" and have a yellow sticker on it with a "custom price".

I'm still scratching my head on the penny deals. I've looked through the entire .01 inventory on the price check app with no luck. Only DNI / Display items showed up... I'm thinking they might use a different inventory system here. That or they are on top of the penny deals at the moment? Hopping I'll catch them slipping soon?

On another note I got a call back from a Georgia number today (corporate HD) saying that the manager would not budge on the price for the pressure washer that was listed for $29 in price checker. I double checked it afterwards and it looks like they have removed that item from the app all together...

I really wish the app was a bit more real time with store pricing. But hey, I guess beggars can't be choosy!

Using the barcode scanner would really be the icing on the cake, take the kiosk out completely.

Very few penny items remain in the app after they drop to a penny price. You need to follow this thread, visit the stores often and keep track of things you see along with the dates on the tags. The older the date the more likely the item is a penny. You can't rely on the app for finding penny items.

Is the app being referred to just the standard Home Depot app? Or something else?

You guys are good!!

I think I'm starting to get the gist of this situation now. The garage door opener I bought yesterday for instance. It was the last one left, stored in over head underneath 4 other openers, it didn't have a clearance sticker on it, and it was priced at $50.02 so it was only a matter of time before it would have been a penny AND I should have waited / kept an eye on it till it rang up for a penny....

I checked for the temp2o's today, there was one on display, a couple on the shelf under that, and a couple in overhead. All the sku's where the same (1000-029-877 and it pulled up the normal "discounted price" of $70 on the price checker. Same story goes for all the other backpack blowers, chainsaw's, and faucets similar to what I've seen here, and a slew of other things on the clearance shelf that caught my eye. Long story short, no deals for me today in Panama City....

It's a part time job. Inventory management specialist

Seriously, how much time do you estimate that you spend in HD a week? If you say an hour, the folks that have read the 'entire thread' but haven't yet figured out you get 90% of the penny deals posted here - their heads are going to explode. Like a Jet commercial.

Your daughter appears to enjoy it. My 2yo likes to go, but doesn't want to ride in the cart

I've been taking notes from here and what I see at the store. My local Home Depot seems to stay on top of old tags. I think the oldest date I found was from the end of October.

BTW I noticed someone say Malibu was going out of business and I spotted this today.

Honestly, up to like 20 hours, including driving time between stores. It's more of a hobby for me. I have fun, the daughter has fun.

Spn, what's the sku on those Temp2O showerheads? I need to keep an eye out for those

1000029851 is just the shower head

Keep in mind like I said earlier, they come in 2 different packages... The clear plastic ones that I just posted, and a black box. The model number is 75668

Thank you, I just saw your previous post with the model number.

On another note, after I bought the shower kits, the cashier stopped me and asked to see my receipt. I politely gave it to her. She called the manager, and then she started typing something into the register. I asked for my receipt back, and she told me "I have to void the transaction, I can't sell them for a penny". I gently took the receipt from her hand, told her I already bought them, and walked out the door.

Ok, new guy question: is the qty on hand not accurate? Because I saw a few things I wanted to look for today, but they showed none on hand and I glossed them over...... Vacuum above shows qty at 0 as well thoughz

For my experience, stock inventory is pretty accurate. But the penny item stock indicator is sometimes hit or miss, because employees hiding it to buy later. Or just rounded up for shipping it back.

around here on hand means nothing. I've been in 5 different stores that showed the old 2481-22 Milwaukee kit from 2-11 on hand and found nothing even if I could get them to check top stock for it. I've also found stuff where they show 0 on hand. So its hit or miss in my area. Some stores just really ****. I've had much better luck with lowes deals in my area.

One stop yesterday with no finds. Store is very organized, the clearance sections have practically nothing in them...

Delta showerheads were still .06.

When do you guys expect the ryobi 40volt string trimmer to drop below 40.03? Or is this its last price most likely? Picked one up but would like to find another even cheaper to keep the battery. How much are you selling the bare tool for once you buy a second?

That is the last price, and I think they dropped to a penny last week, or are this week.
