is that brand any good? they have those on the SBOD quite often.
I shopped them quite a bit last year, and talked to a lot of people. They seem to be a great, reliable value conscious genny overall. It's what I chose for my mother, and I paid nearly full price. Caveat: I'm no generator expert.

Yup. Once I'm done here, there's another local store showing stock on several other schlage handles. Taking forever for someone to get the SCO guy busy hah.
I see people bringing dogs with them in store.. So just bring your dog and train him to hump the sco csr as Yu ring it up. Problem solved. Lol

I have been looking for one of the Ridgid diamond saw blades. I have searched all the stores I normally pass by and have not found anything. So Saturday decided to take a quest to 5 HD's I have never been to. With hopes that not only will I finally find that elusive diamond blade but with hope I would really get lucky and find one of the Chamberlain Wisper Drive garage door openers. It was a nice sunny day so the wife decided to go on this quest with me.

After 5 HD's I found nothing zilch. The wife found what she said is a great deal on Mohawk throw rugs regularly thirty some dollars for $6.02, She showed me how great the the weave is on the rug. To me it just looks like a rug. At the checkout the woman there took one look at the rugs and asked where we found them, then raved at how great the weave was on the rugs and what a deal it is. Humh

Thanks for posting. I see this cart at my local HD for the same price ($40). This looks like it should be a fairly good, lightweight cart. Should be good for the home shop.

Not bad at all. I've been out of town several times and have done some searching at those local stores, and scored my first 3 penny items on one of those trips. In fact, next week I'm going to a Kentucky basketball game in Arkansas and I'm planning to go over early enough to hit those two Home Depots. And I'm possibly going up to Iowa for a weekend, and if so, I'll hit at least two of those stores as well. Gotta get them penny deals!

How's the quality? Don't know if I need another cart, but the price is good.

LOT OF THE GUYS ARE SAYING IT IS FLIMSY. I bought one once you put good bolts in it not the junk that it comes with it isnt a shop box but is good for the home garage. Seems pretty nice i like mine works perfect for my application.

one penny 10" tile saw blade and four (value pack of 5x) 12"x12" Canyon Acres mosaic tiles for $3.50 each pack (not each mosaic) #206127890

Couldn't find it on homedepot's website but they're good looking mosaic tiles. Also never seen a glass mosaic come in a value pack but who cares...........it's 70 cents a mosaic, can't beat that. Now if only they had ledgestone on clearance.

where they keep the tile machines in the tile section. I had been looking in the regular tool section for the past two weeks. Your probably not gonna find any they have the new tile blades with the NEW item sticker on display at all the HD I had checked out yesterday.

Good Luck finding a straggler

If anyone can find or happens to already have 5 of the Schlage privacy door knobs in aged bronze, SKU 752257, please PM me. I'd really like to have matching door knobs throughout the house.

Had my most pleasant manager experience to date last night with the door knobs. As I was ringing them up, the SCO attendant saw the price and said it was a "computer" error and said she had to call someone over who was also sure that it was a computer error and that these were supposed to get sent back tot he vendor for credit. I said it wasn't my fault they didn't remove them from the shelf and that it wasn't a computer error, it was an inventory error. I said these all have tags on the shelf and were just sitting there. She proceeds to tell me then that they are required to sell them for the tag price and not what they scan as... At one point I had like 4 people there before the manager finally showed up and talked to them and said I was fine. Then, to my surprise he turns to me and asks for an honest answer as to how I found them. Didn't tell him about the price check app haha just that I spent a lot of time in store and kept track of clearance items. This was the first manager to openly admit that "they were doing something wrong". He wanted to know if I had a better way of keeping track of these items... We proceeded to chat for probably like ten minutes. Before I left, I told him about and brought him to a penny display Ryobi trimmer that was still hanging on the display. He said "you have challenged me". I told him it was nice to finally talk to a manager who knew how the process worked and one that didn't feel like I was stealing from him when I purchased penny items.

Overall pleasant experience.

I have yet to find a penny deal, but last night picked up the last one of these in my area. $40 not bad for what it is. Thanks.

Seems like anything that is tools, power equipment, etc. is very slow to drop.

Anything ending in 00 is
Slow clearance.

Not entirely true. Some things transition from .00 to .06 fairly quickly, or I will say more quickly than the power tools etc. Other items however, will go through multiple .00 price drops over the course of 4, 5, 6 months etc. before going to a .06 price. For example, the Lindosa faucets I purchased (as well as other faucets I have seen) only went through 2 .00 drops over the course of a just a few months prior to going to .06. Meanwhile, however, the Ridgid miter saws, grinders, Makita XT260 etc. has been dropping $30 at a time for what seems like eternity now.

Fein Multimaster 350Q Start dropped to 120.00 at my local store. They normally dont have any of them but managed to find 1 so I grabbed it.

Will keep an eye on it to see if the price drops anymore and if I can get an adjustment.

And a question:

In the case of something that is clearance but doesnt have a shelf sticker (the FMM350Q that I just picked up, for example), is there any way to know when the next price drop might be?

I see in the 2015 thread that some stores already had it down to 50.03 around June yet my store just dropped it to 120.00 probably in the last few weeks. Interested if I can tell when it will drop to .06 or .03 level around here to see if maybe I can get the price adjusted.

I'll have to keep my eyes open, don't know if they're on clearance at any stores around here or not.. if I can get another fairly cheap i'm keeping it this time.

I have a feeling they wont be on clearance here for a while, I think this one was there and they lowered the price for that 1 just to get rid of it (although it does show as 120.00 in the store computer)

Ive literally never seen the 350 at that store and all of the other stores around me have tons of stock of the 350 at full price.

I figure if it somehow hits the .06 level it would be something like 75.06 or so....nice price adjustment at that point if I could get it.

They pennied out around April or May last year at all of the stores around here that stopped stocking it. There's still a lot of stores that stock it. I managed to get one for $50.03 but my dumb *** sold it. Didn't realize at the time how good Fein tools are.

Damn! I doubt mine will get that low within 90 days but Im hopeful Ill at least get to the .06 level.

As far as Fein vs all the others, I bought my 250Q 4 years ago and was completely impressed by the quality vs cheaper versions. NO qualms about spending the extra $$$. Then the 350Q came out and I was just jealous. Going to try and sell my 250Q (tool only) to recoup some of the cost.

I also have the Milwaukee and Ryobi cordless oscillating tools and those are good too but Ive had more than a few jobs where I needed the extra power and runtime of corded.

I always found it odd that HD stocked them because they are so expensive. But the 5 or 6 stores closest to me (except the one I just bought) still all have plenty of stock.

Going to check their computers when I get a chance to see if they've lowered their price, but Im going to say no based on the fact that it seems like a normal stocking item for them even though Ive never seen anyone buy one.
