Houston offer up is better that my local. All I get is guys telling me I should sell my items for half price. Etc etc. 150.00. Item. Get 50.00 offers. Really? If I wanted to sell it for 50 I woulda listed it

I have found in my area that the people using the Offerup App are worse than craigslist buyers. I've had some of the worst lowball offers on Offerup, I have also had people that want to buy stuff for my asking price. I message them back and then no more responses, WTF :dunno:

Gave it a try on Friday and that about sums up my experience as well. That and mix in a few people asking me questions in Spanish.

My husky compressor makes a rattling noise when filling up... Not sure if a problem but I might try to find another to compare to. Might just be because everything else is so quiet.

Check for something loose.
Mine makes so little noise I just look at it and Smile.

They're still on the PCA. There's so many of those things around here I could probably get 20-30 of them. The only thing, and I mean the only thing, when comparing this to other models... the psi was a little low. Not low enough to make a huge difference but if you need something at 150psi your SOL.

I bought one of the dewalt quiet compressors and then decided to take it back, it wasn't really any quieter, not noticeably anyway. Picked one of the huskys up earlier today because I had been waiting for a drop, then they went to discontinued on the site and I saw a RGIS tag over the one store, not sure what that means.

^ ^ ^ The "RGIS tags" just mean outside third-party inventory company has gone through the store and counted everything.

I feel better now. Thought it was just me and my area. HA.

Sometimes I play with the trolls and start moving my offer price above what it was originally.

Oh ok, was yours still $99? They had one left as of yesterday afternoon, still at $99....

Yeah was still $99.00. Was hoping for lower price but just happy I found another to compare to.

I used the one I already have over the weekend and while I wasn't near it to listen to it, the fact I got no complaints from wife or kids means its definitely not very loud.

Good to hear! I still have to test mine out and the DeWalt quiet to compare...

Looks like swoyer already did that, several posts up from this. He said the DeWalt was quietER than normal compressors but not that much quieter. Not sure his feeling on the Husky but after I listened to it filling up I can confidently say its a WHOLE lot quieter than my other compressors.

The only drawbacks I can think of on the Husky are the low max psi (120) and the 2.1@90 psi SCFM rating. My Ridgid vertical is 2.6@90 psi and a max of 150 psi. For framing nailer use I think the max psi might be more important....120 might be cutting it close if you take into account pressure loss over long runs, but the 2.1 scfm probably isnt a problem.

heard about this app a few post back, downloaded it. Sold 3 Toro trimmer heads within 3 days, craigslist iv'e had 0 inquiries for past 2 weeks, not even low ball offers.

With the app I also get a lot of offers (low and asking price) but similar like you, they never respond back :dunno:

Picked up a Keter 757 (7ftx7ft) Shed over the weekend, $315 delivered. Clearance tag on it was $497, but I asked someone to scan it for me and it came back $250. Huge heavy box, glad I paid the extra for delivery. Took 4hrs to build, looks great in my backyard. There may still be one left; The one I purchased had a tear in the box, but the one they delivered was perfect. If the employees didnt grab it, the original one is probably up in the overhead some where. This was the Parsippany, NJ store.
