Well looks like I will be holding on to those Paslode nailers for a while. Going for $150-180 on eBay. No way I'm going that low for a $400 nailer

175 on local craigslist here.... not sure ifs its some one from here or not, bucks county pa, and has a bunch of them listed. But are craiglist is full of broke low ballers who offer half the asking price.

Anyone else have trouble finding a computer to get on?

I sell locally. If I double my profits I'm happy with it. With pennies i'll make people good deals as long as its reasonable. No point in stressing about ****. I do it for fun and to have some extra play money.

Only one of my locals have a customer computer by the returns the rest of them have them in the departments and at the pro desk but they look at you like a terrorist if you try to get on one

Didn't see them, I usually see someone up there selling tools super cheap. All different brands of power tools. Never investigated. I'm picky about what I'll buy of craigslist lol

I hit a couple this morning and they had none of the nailers. One of them did have a price tag for $100.03 where the nailer had been but someone else had gotten it already.

Is the 100.3 nailer the Li- ion version of the framing nailer? I will have to check my hd for one. I will add one to the mix for that price. I have s basement to frame out!!

I wonder what they are replacing them with?

Anyone want to part ways with one?

It seems as though there is a brand new version out. I saw them at my HD yesterday, didn't bother to check the differences since I'm not in the market for a cordless framing nailer.

Thought about this... The two I got today were in the overhead.

Today's haul so far:
8 more keyed penny knobs, 490280.
2 more Paslode nailers.

Haven't really been looking for anything else, just skimming real quick.

Had another run in with the nice manager from the other day. When he saw the employee with the ladder he must have asked what he was getting and when he said nailer off top shelf he perked right up haha. Came over and I said it's not penny I promise. It is a good deal though laughing. He went up and checked it himself to confirm and brought it down to me asking how I knew about this since it didn't have a tag and I had told him I just kept track of the tags and items. Told him they did have one tagged a week ago which is true but I'm not sure what happened to that one. He said he wished he knew about it as he has some projects around the house and he is sick of a hammer. He said the employees meeting on Monday won't be going well haha.

Good experience with him again.

Two stores down on my OKC run. Ada, and Norman have yielded 4 keyed door handles for $16 (one penny, 3 in Ada were out of system, so I offered $5 each and they took it.) Will update as I go.

Edit- The Norman store showed 2 Nailers but I didn't search for them since I've got 3 already, in case anyone down in OKC wants to go find them.

I bet corporate is getting tired of all these phone calls. I'm sure within the last few months especially it was been a lot. Wonder how long pennies will last..lets hope for awhile. I've only done it once as a last resort if the manager is a complete ***. Most of the time my sneakiness at SCO works. Don't get me wrong I'm not against it, but it would **** to have policies change.

I'm still trying to find ANY of the Schlage items. Not a single one found yet. No luck with any of the Delta faucet items either. :(

I did snag 2 more Paslode Nailers today...

Why are some of you abusing the deals and calling corporate? Don't you rather see more deals in the future when it actually matters? I have been following these deals for few years and the unwritten rule is broken here as far as I can see.

There are thousands more penny deals in the future, please don't ruin it for the rest of us because you want to make a few bucks selling junk.

I have only called corporate once. Never for little items, not worth my time or theirs. Last time a Dept manager gave me an issue I ended up getting $300.00 in store credit with a apology.

I would be embarrassed to call corporate over a penny deal where the final value was less than say like 400 bucks.

The best thing to do is to pat yourself on the back and walk out, the more trouble you make for corporate the more your going to wish you hadn't when the process goes away. And your not just screwing yourself, you'd be screwing the rest of us too.

The overhead is locked up, so grabbed a clerk, and he couldn't find any either. Bummer :(

This.

Why are you guys buying these that are not on the shelve or in sight? Leave them way up high Un noticed. I can see buying them if they are on the end cap clearance section. I saw them on a table right as you walk in the door with the Brinkman stuff. Those will be gone at 100.03 for sure.

Dunno with idiots selling so cheap on eBay the resellers are under 100.00 profit now.

While I'm very new at this, I can completely agree. I've only had one minor issue with a SCO clerk/MOD but after a brief discussion, I was allowed to buy the items for a penny.

Honestly, I have not come across anything that I'd be really upset about not getting for a penny that I'd call corporate over. I was going to snag a few of those Brinkmann grills yesterday but figured it would most likely result in a confrontation with the MOD and ultimately require a call to HD corporate to resolve. It was simply not worth it to me.

I can however, understand that some folks come across major A-Hole managers and simply call corporate to prove their point and/or win the battle. Some people are simply pricks and need to be dealt with.

As you said, there are thousands of penny deals to be had in the future so I'd hope people think before deciding to call HD. If folks continue to rock the boat too often, it may ultimately force Home Depot's hand and we may not like the end result.

 This is how I've been finding them as well. The majority of mine were on the overhead but you can clearly see the large "473-484" on them from the ground (if they are stacked correctly! :D).

Can't speak for the folks who are buying to resale, but as for me, I bought one of the Paslode nailers for personal use (got it yesterday after checking 6 stores for same). Within the last 3 days, I checked HD.COM and was able to find at least 15 stores in my area (within 50 miles of my home) which had at least one, many having 5 of the nailers reportedly in stock. When I visited 6 of those stores - those showing more than 2 in stock each, I could only find the one nailer. So I purchased same - to insure that I could get one. Believe me, I would have preferred to get it cheaper, but then I would have preferred to get at least one, so I bit the bullet and paid the $100.03.

If I am able to find one later and the price is a penny, I will offer the one I bought to my son, other family member, or friend at the price I paid ($100.03). Again, not into resale, just into getting things that I would like to have, at prices I can afford.

If anyone needs 10" blade. I'll trade for smaller. I'm not a pro and have a small saw.

You're kidding me aren't you?? When you guys are waiting for someone to NOT be at self checkout, have the HD corporate office saved on your cell phones - it's going a bit far don't ya think??

And you're not saving anything from the dumpster, you're "saving it" from going to a liquidation auction, or being donated in some cases - because the shelf space has become more valuable then the products on it, OR because someone from REGIS did inventory and missed the overstocked items. The products remain in the system so HD has a record of "yes we did sell this, and here is all the info", and they are believed to NOT be in the store, which is why some items are saved in the local system as a penny in your store, and can still be full price in mine. Not all stores stock the same items, and the penny is the sign that "we had it, we cleared out the last few we had in stock, and NONE should be here, and it wasn't an online only item... They only time you'll see a penny item being advertised on the shelf as such - is when it costs more to ship them out that it would be to just sell them off and it's something that people just don't buy, like a gas cap or fuel filter for a tractor. They don't THROW AWAY tools.. You can feed yourself whatever B.S. you need to justify it to yourselves.. Would be nice of ONE person said they were at least donating some of the items or profits. - but we all know what ain't happening.. So - continue one with your plundering and ask yourself if you'd do this to the local hardware store too.. But - you work hard, you deserve it, and there's nothing wrong with it since it's the "stores" policy after you time your checkouts and have to make calls to HD corporate threatening how the manager isn't following retail laws and letting you leave for what the items ring up for..

Well last store I went to I found a 7" tile blade and finally one of the framing paslode nailers. Used the paslode as my mask, scanned at the SCO had no problems and was on my way. The did have more of the Vigoro fertilizer but I didn't want to push my luck as I've encountered a few ******* managers and workers today. Just left it there.

Right, they are the assholes..

I noticed in my area the nailer area is just stuffed full of overstock. It's near impossible to find anything, and what makes it worse you need a ladder to look at things which is a big no no at most stores.
