Spot the penny item!

I'm going to hopefully find an employee without a scanner to get it/them down for me. No clue how many there are up there.

Careful in your selection, I had one get it down and walked it to someone with a scanner. Then I had someone get one down and hand it right to me, make sure you tell them there's none left under the display! Kind of kills concerns.

On a side note I picked up one of these last night, the stock checking employees scanned it and put it back on the clearance shelf lol. I was so confused but it rang up a penny when I got up to sco

I will when I go back. I have an appointment, so I was only able to get this -

Plus one more privacy handle for 3 pennies total.

I am going back though for that Temp2O set for my upcoming bathroom remodel. I'll check the GDO then. Though, that model isn't carried down here I've found.

Those are nice. All I have managed for entry sets are polished brass...

Would anyone be able to do a recap of the Chamberlain door opener deals (SKUs, models, prices)? I've searched the thread and the local stores and haven't come up with anything concrete.

Right now *I* am the opener for my wife when she gets home. That's getting old.

do they drill holes in the display paslode nailers? Are the ok to buy?

I was talking to the Mgr today, he said the display nail guns are "Non Working Models" and people were still stealing them, now they have stickers every 3' and its not as bad, but he said they still come up with one missing. My quest is officially over, I have hit 4 HD's about 10 X during the last 5 days, none of this is a closeout here? the dog has been happy, I have taken him with me.
The best thing today, I am looking at framing nail guns, I asked about the closeout, he scanned it and showed me the price, I pull up a few prices online on my phone, next thing I know there are 4 people standing next to me in the nail gun aisle!!

Something strange is going on with the Husky garage cabinets that are on clearance that I've never seen before. My local store had one each in the overhead and on display at the $30-$45 prices so I bought them all. Quality isnt the best, but at those prices I figured I would track down some more and redo my workshop corner in the garage. Well, other stores were either out of stock or had them full price. Was back in the same local store I bought them at and found that they were now shoing full price in the computer, but still highlighted yellow as if on clearance. Went to another store and they had one left on clearance, but not at the .03 or .06 price, it was more like a 40% off .00 price. Then I was driving in an area I don't usually frequent and stopped at a newer HD. None of them came up as clearance in the computer, but low and behold, the base cabinet had the $45.03 sticker on the display model. They also had one in the overheads which would have rounded out my collection. Asswociate from flooring came over to get them down and they scanned at full price. Had to argue for 10 minutes to get them to give me the display at the stickered clearance price, but they woludn't budge on the one in the overhead - said they could get full price credit for sending it back. Whole thing doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

But, if anyone has a base cabinet and an overhead cabinet they want to sell let me know. That's all I'm missing at this point for a complete set.

Also, to contribute to the thread - Rainbird Easy to Install Irrigation Systems were $43.02, down from $169 at one store in Lodi. They had a ton of them, but I didn't see much in the way of resale potential. Could be an OK deal if someone needs the kit though.

Usually but not always.

Ended up with a Milwaukee corded SDS rotary drill because someone returned one to a store that doesnt stock it. It got thrown into the corner of the tool corral when they couldnt find the shelf spot for it.

Picked it up for a penny when they moved it out into the open.

Jealous of that find! :)

notice that as well. I actually made a post about it last week. Got the stainless steel table for 65.00 now it is showing for 249.00. I actually wanted one more cabinet as well, but will wait to see if they go back down.

Can someone post the SKU for that Chamberlain? I apologize if I missed it.

I don't remember the SKU. The model is HD520EVG. I didn't have a chance to get back on a PC because of the next couple of sentences.

After a bit of a headache, I was given the Temp2O set. Now to hopefully piece together my bathroom remodel with more penny items! Hah.

The model is HD520EVG.

If you store has any, they are likely mixed in with the HD520EVP I think it is.

The clearance box advertises the internet gateway as a special value on the outside.

I just installed one of the 1.25's I got on clearance and the only gripe I have is that I could not adjust it such that it opened the door as much as my old 1/2 hp chain drive. I have maximized the travel as much as I can with adjustments to the arm/door connection but the little 1/4" bolt you see in the picture above (intended to stop the trolley from travelling too far) is keeping it from opening any more. I may just remove the bolt and reprogram the travel.

Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

From what I gathered I think the HD220 is the other one? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The old-style 1HP is also on clearance now, but I dont know the SKU

Not sure if you'll come across any, but the 0.75HP was down to a penny a few months ago. The SKU for that is 1001281532

Is a seven foot rail. You need the eight foot extension rail and belt

Not true. Both the same rail. When I say it isn't opening as much, I am talking inches, not feet. I am missing like maybe 4-6" of travel. Not sure what the difference is but I couldn't get it right in messing with it last night. Not a big deal so I just gave up. Like I said, worse come to worse I can just take that bolt out and reprogram the travel.

The 1 HP with the fancy box is a penny. The one SPN and a few others found and posted a few weeks back. The box is all colorful and doesn't look anything like the current ones.

The HD220 should be a penny everywhere as well.

If anyone sees Ridgid Jobmax attachments on clearance at your store, let me know. I only need 2 more.. the jigsaw head and the reciprocating saw head. I'd trade something for them.

Only 1 store in the state here has the attachments on clearance, out of stock though.

Sent you a PM.

The one with MyQ right 1.25 HP I got it for 63.03 I think, No I haven't had any issues with it. It runs great, but I had a Chamberlain 3/4 belt drive one before I swapped it out so its about the same to me. I even kept the old sensors and just swapped out the wall remotes, I love the MyQ part of it.

Yup that's the one. I had gotten 2 at that price. Actually 4, but sold the other 2 to buddies at cost. I replaced a chain drive, but I still kept all the sensors and stuff. Like you I just swapped out the wall remote. My garage is finished, so there was no way I was fishing all new wire and all the old stuff still worked fine so...

The second one would go much faster. I haven't done the MyQ part yet, just the basics.

Coming from a belt drive Chamberlain, could you just swap the motor/head portion instead of changing the track, etc? Just to save some time (I too already have a belt drive in place but not with the WiFi stuff)

You could do that, or you could just buy the internet gateway separate and keep your existing unit. That's all you need for the MyQ stuff IIRC.
