Werner 22ft ladder (MT1-22) (Type I) $60.04 @ Sherwood, Oregon

Appears to be in store only. Can't find it online. Was the same one from black friday I think but much cheaper than before. If you have a 10% coupon + discount gift card, this is a great deal.

Well i got 3 items off clearance rack that ended in .03 but no pennies. I did save 90+% but pretty much a waste. Gonna have to dig into this further.uploadfromtaptalk1453341775868.jpg

Why did you buy the stuff then if it was a waste?

Down to 95 at a couple of my local stores.

Amazingly enough they aren't selling for much more than that on eBay.

Rachio IRO 8 Zone WiFi Irrigation Controller @ Home Depot B&M $88 - YMMV
The Home Depot in Overland Park, KS (#2209) has the 8 zone Rachio IRO WiFi Irrigation Controller for $88. Online still shows $249 and I don't know if other stores are also marked down so YMMV.

No yellow tag. Only the small front pocket is leather. My Milwaukee fuel driver does not seem to fit and could fall out. The Milwaukee fuel is pretty compact too. Maybe just need to break it in a bit.

what is the zip code to these stores that sells for 95, I tried the stores in Dallas, all are around 179 to 189 ranges. They said they can give 10% that is all, not matching 133 or 95.

Well saying a "waste" might have been a little dramatic but I had myself convinced that I was gonna score a few penny items on my first shot lol! When they rang up the clearance price (which was still like 80-90% off) I felt all the wind go outta my sails lol.

I read the entire stinkin thread last night and I think I know where I went wrong. I grabbed three things that ended in .03 but I don't think the stickers were old enough. I'm gonna figure this out if its the last thing I do! I especially need two GDO's for my new garage! I am really trying to figure out if MN stores generally run ahead or behind of all the northeast and south (Texas?) stores. That would really help and if I figure it out I'll let ya'll know. Happy hunting!

My local stores are $88 as well. Last year they got to $50.03 I believe. I got two in fall last year for pennies though. Watching them again since they're in overhead.

Found seven more, different door levers at a local store that I thought I had scoured. Models F10 V FLA 716 and F10 V BRW 716. Going to Fayetteville for a basketball game and hoping to find some more.

Another round of "Spot the penny deal!"

I will be back for that next week.

I just left the Home Depot near me and ran again into a couple unusual discoveries:

1) an employee told me that the store is donating items to a property management company in the city. I'm unaware of any property management company that does not work for profit so unless it's going to nonprofit charity that seems pretty unusual if not sketchy. May have to look into that a little further to see what I can find out. Is anyone else run into a scenario like this?
2) I ended up buying a toilet on sale from 229 down to $99 and that same employee was telling me that he worked last night and that price drops at least $75 overnight however the yellow tag was dated November 25, 2015. This I saw recently and it appears to me that the store may intentionally be holding prices higher from previously discounted dates. Has anyone experienced anything like this or has an explanation for what might be going on?

You walked into a retail store and by your description you bought items at 80 to 90% off. Stop. You are done. Whether you are buying for personal/family use or for resale, you did geat. if you need GDOs, why in the world would you be disappointed to buy at 70 to 90% off? quit focusing on penny items. Buy up 20 Passlode nailers at $100, sell them, take the profit and buy the best garage door openers they make.

The penny items will happen. Quit trying so hard.

20 Paslode nailers lol

1. The market is completely flooded now....profits are becoming not what we would want. I guess if you could find 20 it wouldnt be so bad

2. I havent even been able to find 1 of these nailers, 20 would be amazing.

i am going to try and grab a pair today....i hate how freaking loud the ones in my house are. If i could snag one for the master bath it would make my wife happy when i get up for work in the AM.

I don't think it's that bad. I flipped most of mine for ~240 within less than 24 hours. After fees I'm still doubling my money. Sure I could try to get 300, but how long would I sit on them for that extra 50. I don't think they were easy to find either. There were a ton of people grabbing them around here, I had to extend past my normal search loops to get that many.

My current one is pretty loud as well, not to mention fairly old so...

Like I said yesterday, I am hoping I can just use the new motor in the old housing. The fan is between floors so I am not sure how I would even begin replacing the whole housing without making a mess of the ceiling and bathroom.

Recently?

It looks like in the last few days there have been tons put on Ebay, CL, etc.

Doubling money is still fine of course, but selling 1 or 2 at 100.00 profit isnt a TON of $$$.

Slickdeal effect makes it seem like a good profit is based on volume vs individual sell price. I dont have a problem laying out the $$$ to buy a bunch but I do have a wife yelling at me for having too much stuff to sell :)

I sold one on CL for $230 and still have 2 left in my possession, one other I was going to get that was still at $300.06.

Was supposed to meet a guy to sell another for $200 but that hasn't happened yet.

Nice thing about CL, is you can sell a bit cheaper to make the same profit as eBay plus not have to deal with shipping.

I put my 6 Paslode nailers on CL and only one person interested but yet to follow through on buying. I may have to eBay them since I'm in the least populated state in the country, no one around to buy them!

Lurker for a few months. Figured I'd share a story that might be able to benefit someone else.
I went into lowes and asked the customer service desk lady about the price match policy. Said they'd match same exact item only (originally went in for the Scotts towel match,no go). Browsed the tool section for a while noticed they had the paslode nailers. Asked if they would match the HD clearance price, she said sure. Showed her a picture on my phone of the 100.03 price on the HD price check app of the paslode. She rang me out and said "wow that's a deal!" I agreed, and walked out with a 100$ paslode from lowes. Ymmv but it's worth a try!
