Gents, I'm sorry, maybe I'm tool old to get it, but how does it benefit me when someone post clearance items from their local HD. I read HD rob's thread about how to find the clearance items in my store but I don't understand how I can take advantage of clearance items at another HD.

most likely the item will eventually be clearanced at your store if it has not already been clearanced. some ppl here go find the items in a not-yet-clearanced store then watch them and wait for the price to drop

I just sold my first Paslode for $300 on Craigslist last night. This morning I picked up one that had been returned without the battery, charger, or case. I'm hoping to still make $50 off of it. I also grabbed four of those Hunter Fairhaven fans. They were showing 0 in inventory but 4 were sitting on the end cap.

How much were the fans, I think I have a couple at some store, hope they are still there.

There were two models under the same SKU that both rang up this price. One was brushed nickel and one was antique pewter.

That base and wall cabinet were marked down to $30 something a few weeks back at one of the HD locations near me. They only had the display units at the time. The other HD 2 miles away still had them at full price.

I got two of the top cabinets last Friday for 87 each. First time I see them anywhere after going to 20 plus stores down here last week on my penny and Watts valves hunt. Gonna paint the doors black to match my other cabinets.

Ive read the promo still works in some stores.

Wanted to pick up the gen 2 Fuel hammer drill and/or 3/8" impact, but the website says not in stock and not sold at stores. In fact there is at least one store around me that actually has it, so Im hoping that store will honor the promo so I can get the discount.

The Ridgid 6-gallon stainless vac is back.. same one I got last year for a penny. These are nice for vacuuming out the pellet stove. Will have to keep an eye on them in a few months to see if they clearance them out again. Wouldn't mind 1 more.

Loranger, if you decide to pass on the 5 gallon epoxy, please PM me what store that was located at. We just bought a new house and I'd like to try it out.

I wonder if it's as bad as the gallon kits they clearanced a month back?

I sold 1 on CL for $150, paid $42 each and kept the other 3 for my house. Just sold one of the Internet Gateways on Amazon for $40. Might sell another and then some of the openers. Amazon hit me for 20% ($7 fee) so it's nearly as bad as Ebay.

Isn't a 20% fee twice as bad as ebay? (or as guess 1.5x as bad after you factor in paypal)

Those have been out for a long time. I'm not sure what the post above means the little vs the big. I only knew of one with a Subaru engine. I have been stalking these but they're all gone. [emoji47]

I managed to locate one of the Ridgid generators in the late summer. They were 299 at that point. A friend of mine bought it.

He was able to get them to adjust the price when it hit 99 because it wasnt very long after his purchase.

I told him about 49 and he said he's not going to chance it :)

Where did you post the GDOs on CL?

Im not getting any hits, have them listed in general for sale.
