Can you give more detail on watching? And what do you mean by anywhere?

Are you going to a local store and using the app to find items in that stores region and then repeat?

I have been trying to find the dewalt 52 inch chest in my area but the store app shows none in the region and you can no longer order online.

The online search site that has been posted here never seems to find the items in stock when I am searching and I guess I am not interested in going to store daily.

Guess I am jealous of all you lucky ones finding these deals. I am not into buying items I don't need just to flip, but on items I am looking for...

What's the sku number on that? Been looking for a tool chest but I have never seen any gladiator stuff at my home depot

I have been watching this for quite a while, do you happen to know what the date on the tag was or how long it took to drop from $399 to $99?

I don't have a picture but I feel like I scored last night at my local Home Depot.. I picked up a kit of 2 of the Makita 4 1/2" grinders (model number 9557NB) for $69 ( 75 with tax out the door). This is the regular price for just one normally. Looked like it was an on he floor display, there were 3 left after I bought mine, so it was like a bogo for me!

Picked up a few penny items and some of the clearance Bosch laser stuff. I passed on several of the Bosch 16ft Aluminum level (GR16) at $13.03 as they would be a pain to ship. I also passed on a few other Bosch items with damaged boxes.



The last store I went to said it had one of the 175mph Backpack Blowers (SKU 84492) in stock for a penny but I looked everywhere and couldn't find it. :wtf:

For those asking about the Gladiator Toolchest I scored...here is the info:

Premier Series 52 in. 10-Drawer Welded Steel Rolling Tool Chest in Silver Tread Plate - Model # GATR52RWBG

I've attached a pic of the $599 yellow tag it had on it when I found it and then I've attached the CPA pic from this morning showing the unit at $99!! :shocking:

As for the timeframe of the price drop, this is what I remember. I first saw it the first week of January and took the photo of the $599 tag with the 11/20/15 date. On 1/20/16, the price dropped down to $399. Now I am not exactly sure when it dropped down to the $99 price but I'm positive it was either yesterday morning or possibly Thursday. Keep in mind, the only unit they had left was the floor model so I'm sure this is why they dropped the price to $99 just to get it off the floor and free up real estate.

The floor model has some minor cosmetic issues but I'd have taken it as well for $99. I guess I'll just have to be happy I got the one good one for the unbelievable price of $99. :thumbup:

I posted mine under "household items - by owner" and sold in less than a day. First guy called me about 30 minutes after posting and wanted it but I gave him my address and apparently he lives in BFE and would have taken him an hour to get to my place. Next guy called this morning and picked it up this afternoon.

$80 was my firm price and sold for that. Again, this was for the HD220.

In the past has anyone had any trouble with the Menard's 11% back if you used a Lowes 10% coupon for the purchase? Don't wanna waste my time filling out if its not going to work

Ran into something I've yet to see at an HD. They had a customer-use computer smack dab in the middle of the Tool Section with a sign on it saying something like, "Can't find what your looking, search here and find it".
