While pennies are nice, I rather have most things drop like they have been doing wheres it's less than 10% if the cost of new. You can still make a good profit and don't have to worry about any BS at checkout. I still love me some penny deals tho.

I agree with you 110%

Blasphemy!!!!!!

Ahh thats what you meant to post.

Yeah, sorryNotSorry, Im a Team Red guy.

But CL-wise I have no allegiance....if I could sell some Milwaukee stuff along for profit, I would! Just havent been able to find many deals on Milwaukee that would result in good profits....I could try dumping one of my heated hoodies, now is the season!

Yeah I have been spending way too much time at Home Depot the last few days. But I am hooked. I don't really get any penny deals but just looking for clearance items that I need
Same here. Lots of great deals on stuff I already wanted or needed. 3rd day in a row on my way to home depot

Bosch range finders dropped this week again. I cannot for life of me find them though. All the local stores have inventory (when they were $38.03) and after spending hours looking asked some associates at different store and the first thing out each one's mouth was Huh must've been stolen. One store was missing 3 units.

Husky boxes dropped. Not nearly as sweet of a deal as the gladiator boxes I got this weekend but incase anyone needs. This is 99$ off, MSRP is 288.

A couple of my stores also had the range finder for that price showing that they had inventory. After multiple hours in different stores I had no luck finding any.

I did however pick this up, if you need faucet here you go.

Was the Moen a penny?

Negative, at first it did not ring up at SCO so the attendant came over and scanned it then went back to her system. Thought I might have scored but she came back with the $57.03 price even-though the old sales tag. Thought it was still a good deal so I picked it up.

True.
Honestly havent made much profit on any of the things Ive bought on clearance....CL seems picky/dead around my area.

You might try putting them up on some of the apps like Offerup and 5miles. I haven't sold anything on them, but have bought a couple of shop tools off them the last couple of weeks. Might be a smaller target audience, but fewer competing sellers too. I'm finding it easier to buy through one of them than through CL.

Thanks, will try those (offerup seems to be better for tools around here)

There was another I heard of, thought it started with an "m" but I cant find it now.

Its also been suggested to try the Facebook tag sale groups, but looking at whats for sale on my local ones Im not sure how well "expensive" tools would go.

You can also try a app called "wallapop" it seems pretty popular around here and I have bought/sold a couple items using it. Same concept of the local sales within a couple miles of your location. It's as easy as snapping a couple pictures and posting a price.

Offer up is the worst then Craigslist.. All the buyers are broke or want free almost and they want delivery.. Bunch of the most worthless wannabee buyers on earth.. It's like Internet garage sale where nobody pays higher then 50 cents and not living in the real world economics.

I just put in a new sink and faucet last week. Was looking at that one or the Kohler mazz which was slightly cheaper. Ended up with the mazz for $100. Went back Saturday and they both dropped again to $50. Got my price adjustment [emoji16]

This new pricing is interesting. The Bosch should have gone to a penny, not $19.
Maybe HD is starting to have more clearance prices in an attempt to get rid of the stuff before it reaches penny status?

i.e. 38.03 to 19.00 then to penny, or maybe to another .03 price then to penny, who knows...

This could make things a little trickier.
I seen this exact thing happen on the kholer showehead...they were 12.03 now at $7 not .01 like should have been

Is there any way to find/submit slightly older HD 11% match forms? I was in the dark on this, seems like I have missed the form for most of my Paslode purchases.. :(

One store around here had quite a few. I haven't been checking faucets lately.

I wasn't looking for faucet's either as I noticed one in the clearance end cap without a box. Then I searched the model in the computer seeing that they had a couple in stock so I went to the aisle to begin the search and found this up in the rafters. thought it might have been a lower price due to the old clearance tag.

Unless you can find the older forms I would say no. With that said though, if you can, the form says the receipt needs to be within 60 days I think of the dates on the form.

Also, I think last week was the only week where the Paslodes would have fallen in line with the rebate.

They would have still been 300.06 with the previous form dates IIRC. I could be wrong though.

It was missed. You should have left it there another week or so.

Ok maybe I'll check at the store tonight see if they have one of the older ones. Says they have them in store. We'll see [emoji849]

Thanks for the heads up.

Might check your local store for the Paslode framing nailer. They dropped from $100.03 to a penny. Just picked one up today. SKU is 473 484.

The clearance one I saw rang up $7.53, the one that's been on clearance dropping.. Cobalt material or something.. I left it, didn't need it.

Here's a queation:

There is 1 Paslode left in my area but it does not have the cardboard jacket with the UPC code on is AND it has a theft device on it. How do I get this out of the store for a penny? :dunno:

Is it confirmed a penny? Or are you just assuming because railroader found one for a penny?

Might want to check the in store price check before confronting a manager about a penny item that is not actually a penny.

FWIW Paslode has dropped out of the computer at a few of my local stores.

But I agree.....I would check the computer of whatever store they are looking at to be sure. If they are still at the 100.03 level it would probably be a LOT easier to get one (not quite sure you could get something knocked off the 100.03 price though)

The Paslode has dropped out of all computers here around me. Even though a local store said they have 2, when entered into the in store PC it was invalid.

if my .02 are worth anything (i am a noobie), i would take the approach someone took quite a few pages back and ask to speak with the store manager and explain the situation. That way there is no scene made, you are not holding up lines, etc. Maybe the manager will appreciate your approach and let you have it.
