if my .02 are worth anything (i am a noobie), i would take the approach someone took quite a few pages back and ask to speak with the store manager and explain the situation. That way there is no scene made, you are not holding up lines, etc. Maybe the manager will appreciate your approach and let you have it.

just make sure it's the right nailer to begin with, not the new XP model. the model number for the framer should be the 325Li, model number 902600

How did you verify it is the cordless framer and not a different model? Is the SKU written on there?

Considering I have (8) of these Paslodes, I'm pretty sure it's the right one.
It's got the black sticker on the side of the case with the 325CL noted.

(actually, 6 as I sold my first two today)

So what happened? Were you able to score it for a cent?

I didn't have time to deal with a manager interaction today so I'll go back in a few days and see what they will do.

Does this ever happen to anyone else?

Hit one more store on the way home and found (4) Schlage BRW interior handles. I make my way to the SCO and there are 2 employees working it. I fumble around in aisles with a clear view but one of them is always at the computer. After about 10 minutes of waiting for an opening, I give up. Put the handles back where I found them deep in the shelf and will go back another day and try again.

Yea but honestly, most of the time I get frustrated and just go for it. 60% of the time it works 100% of the time. Usually the best thing to do is smile and say something polite on the way in.... Then proceed [emoji85]

That depends, sometimes 2 employees means they are talking to each other and ignoring the terminal. Later in the day they are also more likely to be tired and not even pay attention. If they look bored and are watching you approach it is time to bail.

Couple of items I saw today. I looked for the Faucet but couldn't locate them. The trimmer shows it's available at a few stores but I'm sure I'll go over to them and they will still be full price.

That's why Yu need a trained dog who can make deals happen... Have the dog sniff the sco csr or near them, or dog starts ******* the csr leg. Lol

Better yet, find the extension number for the sco csr phone number area.. Call while Yu scan and start asking questions. Lol.

I've never been to a HD that doesn't have at least 1 employee at SCO. Maybe it's based on where you live or the location of the store, but for me someone is always watching.

There is typically one and you can always count on them turning their attention to the old person that can't figure out how to use the SCO machine giving you just enough time to scan, insert pennies and hit the road.

Exactly, usually it doesn't take much for them to get distracted. Just follow the guy in with a couple 2x4's and some plywood. [emoji106]

That and the white backpack blower. I think that may be the reason both of these items are white. They're ghosts!! :willy_nil

I have a couple more faucets local to me. I'm waiting to see if they go any lower before purchasing.

Picked up (2) of the Rachio 8 Zone Sprinkler Controllers (SKU 1000045016) today for the $63.02 price noted a few pages back. Bought/shipped one to a forum member and will put the other on eBay and see if it sells. Found 3 more but I wanna see if the one I got actually sells. Would like to wait and see if they hit a penny but these are all locked in those big plastic security cases that the CSR has to remove at the register.

I've been able to scan a penny item through one of the clear plastic security cases and then paid for it before I asked the SCO attendant to remove it. The hardest part was flipping the item around inside the plastic case until I could get the UPC code aligned with a clear view through the plastic.

Good to know. I'll give that a shot if/when they drop in price. The 3 others I found were mixed in with the faucet clearance end cap in the back of the store by the restrooms. Pretty sure they wont be going anywhere. They don't even show up in the CPA inventory.

I really don't understand how bad their inventory is. It's embarrassing.

The 3000lb jack and 200 pc tool kit have not been marked down by me yet. Still $39 and $65 can't find the tool kits anyway even thought stores show plenty of stock

Did find the Milwaukee 2606-21CT black Friday 18v drill special they had for $99 down to $59 Last one in any store near me and on the clearance end cap so I bought it. If it drops more I'll get them to do a price adjustment.

I'll try to get a pic from the price app up later no idea how to work this new phone.

Long time vistor/reader (lurker), new poster. Thanks to all for the posted deals, though I haven't had too much success finding any this year. I did come across my own Sunday night.

Milwaukee M12 Fuel Circular Saw for $90 (reg. $149) sku 1001253020

Might be a fluke, as one HD had it at $90, but the other I visited it was regular price. The store it was full price at, did have a shelf location & display unit on the Milwaukee endcap, whereas the other store did not have a designated location.

USPS rates apparently went up quite a bit 2 weeks ago. I'm finding EVERYTHING cheaper to ship via FedEx or UPS...with the exception of stuffing heavy things in flat rate boxes

Just those Watts valves, $17 USPS from NH to UT, or $10.83 fedex ground.

Prior to the rate increase, it was a toss-up which service would be cheaper. USPS is gonna take a big hit for this

When fuel prices go down, you would expect shipping and transportation prices to go down

Yeah, on Jan 17 they went to retail rates only on Click-N-Ship...no idea why.

I work for a company that works closely with the USPS, and we just got an email about how mail volume stayed the same (or even went up!) through 2015. So why, now, would they choose to drop any discounts you can get by using the web to generate labels? SMH.

Hmm never saw that Senco around here. Only recently did some stores start stocking the Senco pneumatic framer.
I did however see that cordless finish nailer at a Lowes (I think Nashua NH). It was not in their system, the UPC was cut out of the box, and had an inch of dust on it. Manager wanted to charge $400 because "that's what other stores were selling for online". I told him to pound dirt because the batteries were probably junk. Then I walked out with a Senco roofing nailer for $28.

Yea SPN they did, The flat rates boxes were great for the nails, try a envelope, I think one of those valves in a flat rate envelope, sent it in a little bubble rap and tell them in your description that your taking it out of the original package.
