Oh yea, in case no one knows. Ebay now allows buyers to cancel a purchase after they do a buy it now for up to an hour after they buy it. wtf is that place turning in to.

They will do everything possible to make it as easy on buyers as they can.

My favorite is all of the fake bidders out there....they purchase buy it now items and then fall off the face of the earth...
At least with that I haven't shipped anything yet, just annoying to have to relist.

It's a pain in the *** because then you have to say they cancelled the item or your on the hook for the fees.

"

Awesome! I m glad because I really like the faucet. Thank you for taking such good care of this.

"

phew.. lol.

Also, I try to mark anything expensive with "require immediate payment for buy-it-now purchases", which you can only specify on the desktop site. I did, however, have someone from Saudi Arabia tie up one of my listings when I did NOT specify international shipping.. lol.

Well just got off the phone with Glacier Bay (or Home Depot to be more specific), they're sending the parts directly to him.. that was easy.. hopefully he won't complain about the 5 to 7 day wait for the parts.

Nice...but if the buyer is scammer...not likely because its only $40 or so... he could still file and do chargeback....no protection...what so ever.
Usually ebay scammer target big $$$ items,,,atleast I think so..
Until ebay/paypal change...its a seller beware game...and imagine 5-6 months down the road....a chargeback...paypal takes your $$$...

Granted most sales go okay...but all it takes is one big hit and you leave with a sour taste of this ebay/paypal game.. would be nice if sellers can opt to receive only check/cash/moneyorder...so that way..you have control of your $$$, not paypal...

Any other new .03 or penny deals this week? I didn't see a whole lot when I checked Tuesday, but I should have checked again yesterday. Usually by Wednesday all of the prices are adjusted.

Milwaukee port-a-band was still $138, watching that one. None of the Bosch lasers are on clearance up here, except for the GLR225. I've also been watching some big Ridgid drain clearing thing on clearance but the price hasn't budged in a long time, still $300. I'm still seeing plenty of Nutone fans around, but waiting for them to penny out, hopefully next week.

The Bosch 3.5" 5 amp planer is on clearance at $55, warm deal. I think it's the same one I got a Lowes on clearance for like $18. Edit: nvm, mine is 6 amps.

The Paslode has the factory sticker on the cardboard that needs to be cut in order to get the cardboard off that would be hard to duplicate.
...

The paslode factory sticker is not that sticky and can often be gently pealed off without cutting it. Then it can be put back and the box will look factory sealed. Same with many other products. The only way I would ever sell anything on ebay without opening and inspecting it is if it is in clamshell or other factory packaging that is impossible to open undetected.

I noticed the Ryobi inverter-based generator is down to 599 here. That might be regular price but now its marked as a clearance so its something to watch.

The DeWalt table saw dropped to 229 (I think most everyone knows that by now)

A lot of Husky stuff was added to clearance level but nothing astounding that I could see. The Husky 52" box is now on clearance, down to 579 or 479, I cant remember which (I should really start taking pics at the computers!)

Echo 4G backpack sprayer is still 25.03....I was expecting it to drop to a penny soon but havent seen it happen.

Ryobi 2 pack batteries down to 79....took a look at the shelf sticker (still white, not yellow) and noticed it has a date of "4/8/16 R" on it....does that signify the next markdown or when it will be RTV-ed?

Thanks for the heads up on these dropping. Almost bought a set at $7 but was holding out in hopes it'd drop further. Picked up the last two from the store nearest my office during lunch.

Whenever I sell faucets online I always open them, unless I am sure its the manufacturer's straps vs Home Depot's straps. And bathroom sink faucets always come with drain pop-ups, unless its a vessel faucet.

In addition to some of the grilling accessories, the only two items I found at the penny level yesterday was the 3 Foot Nickle LED Shop Lights that were originally $39 on Black Friday. Found 16 of them at one store. Made 2 trips to the SCO, the first time with 6, the second time with 10. Each time I got the "SEE ATTENDANT" message after scanning all of the lights into the system and paying for same. At first I thought I was in trouble as the Attendant immediately made a phone call after the message popped up (I have had trouble in this store over their refusal to sell penny items which required Corporate intervention). However, all was good as he called me over and handed me my receipt (both times - I have worked with this attendant before - really don't think he cares what you pay as long as you don't bother him). Found the other light at another store - high in the rafters. Employee kindly got it down and I went straight through the SCO without issue.

The other item I found was the Anti-Fatique mats which I believe were previously listed on this site for $6.33. Found 7 of them at one store. Checked an additional 6 stores and found no others. Wasn't really interested in them for $6+, but at a penny think I can find a use for them in the garage.

Do you have a SKU on those worklights? I try to check my local stores but my brain glazes over looking at all the darn shoplight boxes that look the same.

I agree. Be careful with the black Friday stuff, usually its a version made cheaper just for the sale. I went back and fourth last year when I bought my DWS709 with the black Friday version and I ended up buying the regular one because of quality. I remember them being different part numbers though.

Dewalt has a cheaper saw now. Last year it was a DWS 780 but it just didn't have the xps light. This year Dewalt came out with its own budge saw version for black friday.

Saw these 12v outdoor LED rope lights when I was down in TX recently. Haven't seen them back at home, they are probably due for a drop soon.

Hit up the HD I was at yesterday trying to locate the (1) Moen kitchen faucet they showed in stock. It was nowhere to be found and I was given the old, "it must me a system error". I did find (3) Schlage MER handle/lock combos. They were laying on their backs stacked behind one another so you couldn't see the actual item, just the bottom of the box which had a hand-written note with the SKU, (3) and a smiley face on it. It was too early and the SCO was empty so I'll go back tomorrow afternoon to snag them as they were easily within arms reach.

Drove across town to try and snag the only Senco nailer left in town but of course, it was still $329. Got some major attitude from the MOD when I asked if she'd mind if I looked up a price on the computer real quick. She said no and that she can do it for me.

Has anyone seen the Husky 4610A Compressor marked down to $79? I would love to get a extra one for $79 and pricematch the 1st one.

I am so pissed right now i wanted the port-a-torch i saw a ton of stock throughout my stores so i thought i had till pay day but the one i knew had the clearance price just sold it for $75 and the other ones i called that had them in stock are all $300 dollars? Is there a way i can get a store to price match the clearance price store or buy it at full price and do a return re-buy?

So i guess a return and rebuy for the welding kit is the way to go then? So just buy it for full price and go over to the clearance store the next day and ask for a price adjustment? How long will the product stay in the clearance stores computer if the product is sold out?

Wow that's a deal on those lights! All the lights here are out of stock for me.

The bad part about eBay.. now what? Refund this guy? The friggin box was factory sealed with the straps around it.

"Hello. I received my faucet today. I really like it but it is missing everything else. The box had the straps like it was sealed but the box has been previously opened. The faucet was out of his plastic. However it looks new but the rest is missing. It is missing lock nuts and all the 4 parts for drain and drain body. What can you do about it? thank you"

Always cut the straps to open them before you list them to sell, I've ran into this a couple times already either where its used (like really used and corroded) or a different faucet is in the box than what is pictured on the box is in there.

Commercial Electric 3 FT LED Brushed Nickel Shop Light
SKU: 1001-389-709
MODEL: 54253141

Be careful, the light is in a green/white box just like the 42" and 4 FT Commercial Electric LED Shop Lights.

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Commercial-Electric-3-ft-LED-Brushed-Nickel-Shop-Light-54253141/206028865

Thanks for this.

I doubt Ill find any but Ill be on the lookout!

FYI - apparently these work well when hooked up to your garage door opener using a socket-to-receptacle adapter. Since LEDs are so low power, the GDO shouldnt have trouble powering it and you get to light up your garage like a landing strip when you come home!

Went to my local home depot in Puerto Rico, no computer access for clients, did a little friendly talk with the appliance clerk, asked her to look, she dint want to use the Pricecheck app, just the .com, convinced her... searched for toro power head, regular price here, gate opener, not avaliable, found a air compressor 50% off, checken on my phone and it says not sold in stores, but there were 7 of them, its that something I should keep watching?

Will have to give this a try. Currently I have regular light bulbs in my garage door openers (two GDO's - 4 bulbs). My auxillary lighting consists of nine 150 watt halogen lights (150 x2 bulbs each unit) which are bright, but makes the little wheel on my electric box go round-and-round way to quickly. Most of the new lights will go into my unfinished basement (1800 sq feet) where I currently have some flourescents. Hope to see a big difference down there - especially since it is now time to begin finishing same.

In my next garage (in the planning stages now - considering a detached 3-car garage) I plan to install LED lighting. I acquired 28 steel diamond plate shop lights (each fixture holds 2 bulbs each) during the last clearance sale at HD (paid approximately $90 for all - most at a penny, but some as high as $7.83). Also have 7 black diamond plate shop lights (each fixture holds 3 bulbs) which I plan to put in the wife's garage (yes I said wife's garage - can't have her and my mistress (a 1952 Chevy Pickup hot rod) in the same area. Total costs for the 9 fixtures - free as they rang up a penny and the e store manager gave them to me. And through the clearance process I have been able to acquire 100 T-8 flourescent bulbs (total cost - .10) and 50 T-8 LED bulbs (for a total of $47). Also have several (I believe 6 ) Nickle Track Lighting fixtures I plan to use in the garage as well (accent lighting or over the work benchs) all of which also cost a penny each.

Got to love the HD Penny deals.......

Yeah I stumbled on the idea after installing new GDOs over the weekend.

The GDO itself doesnt officially support LED bulbs directly plugged in, but Im hoping the worklights will work OK. Plus it takes care of the whole vibration-killing-the-bulb problem.

Our GDOs also have motion sensors in the control panel and can activate the light fixtures with a button for "always on", which means I can just use that to switch some aux lighting in the garage on and off.

I just picked up the Fein light from Costco to use in the garage.....Ill check out some HD stores for the CE one too just for additional.

Well Kansas City was nice to me. Didn't find the knobs I actually need though.

Nice haul!

I just installed my 3/4HP (ha ha! mine are more powerful!) door openers last weekend. I really like them.

Finding this stuff is starting to feel like Gold Rush......just kinda start digging and hope for the best.
