I assume ID, that's the normal procedure. They can use a CC to look up a transaction if it was used to purchase, but since this wasn't the case it wouldn't have helped.
All in all, I think it was based on this store. Because I don't think she's bought anything there in a year or so, the last time she was there she returned like 2xx worth of random caulk, paintbrushes, whatever left over from our last project. And that was over 6 months ago. So I assume maybe if you return more than you buy? Maybe that's a trigger. Who knows. I'm gonna have her call that number and get the reason. Because she's not doing anything shady and id like to know

I didn't find this deal in the computer but yesterday I picked up a Husky Silent Flow air compressor for $99. They had some leftovers in the store since black Friday that hadn't been selling. They are not typically sold in stores and go for $169 online.

a local store has one at 189.00. I'll keep an eye out and let you know if it drops. the wife and I have been meaning to make it back out to Johnstown if that close enough in southwest PA.
I found a Schlage door knob on clearance in a local store for 33.03. The sku was 980538. Its not on clearance in all stores. I snapped a picture of the label. Later I decided I could use this door knob but they were out of stock. Then a couple weeks later I checked again and they had stock. I got it off the shelf out of a new box and the sku was the same, but the upc was different. It rang up at full price even though the price check app still showed 33.03 Goes to show that you can't take anything for granted.

I never cease to be amazed.
I picked one up as well. I'm surprised they are not flying off the shelves. From my understanding they are the same as the California Air compressors that sold like hotcakes for more money.

I thought about it for that reason, because I originally wanted a small California , but are they the same or are they typical Home Depot "make us one but do it cheaper by any means necessary so we can sell it cheaper"?

What time of day is the best to get penny items in the very early morning? When i was picking up my gladiator chest i saw behind the cs desk a cart full of garden dirt with penny stickers on top of them! I think i am screwed either way i can rarely get good deals at Home Depot in Minnesota!

Not clearance but FREE! I just happen to be walking through the tool department today and the manager was resetting shelves and clearing out old inventory. He had two shopping carts full of miscellaneous cordless tool bits and pieces. When I asked him if it was clearance he said no it's free take anything you want. This is what I ended up with.
A bunch of new M12 chargers one new M-12 battery, a few other misc batteries, cases, bags, some B&D drivers, a Dewalt case and other tidbits. [emoji106][emoji12][emoji481][emoji481][emoji481]

Thanks! Just playing the waiting game I guess because $75 is a heck of a good deal. Johnstown is about an hour from me I am 30 miles east of pittsburgh

was just thinking spn and gmc haven't really posted that much in a little while. I've been hesitant to post as well because of how many lurkers there are that aren't contributing. That and it's been a little dead lately. The system just cleared out a crapload of tools locally and they are doing their spring reset so should be interesting to see whats coming. I think the rubbermaid big max box is replacing the keter hence the clearance. So I think eventually they will all be on sale.

Picked up 2 Husky 28" wall cabinets. $58 for the one in box & $48 for display. Debating to resell or to keep. I do need some wall storage in my garage

While I hope you're right, I think we'll actually see the opposite: the stores around my area have been a lot better keeping things up to date on the shelves.
MET is there everyday in a new section of the store cleaning stuff up. As stuff starts to clear out I bet they are much better at removing it vs. leaving it on the shelf for us nutjobs.
