That's what I thought. Saw those two listed for that online and thought the $100 orig. price was weird.

Oh very strange, this is the first for me got a Watts 3/4 double blow back valve. The girl asked for the head cashier or MOD? She came over told her that if it rings up a penny the customer gets it for free. She printed a receipt and handed it to me? Even though I didn't pay for it? Strange.

This store does not have clearance caps they are very good in clearing out penny items. Only things I ever go from them were the two 100 dollar paslode nailers and clearance 42 cent nails.
Did you miss this two weeks ago on your journey?

Found some of the 2 1/2 car garage Rust-oleum Epoxyshield in both gray and tan at the Home Depot in Hadley, MA. $25.03 each and added a 10% Lowes coupon. Not great reviews on it, but should be good to use in the basement/wood shop. They had a bunch there.

North Conway NH had tons of big buckets of Behr garage floor waterproofing and stripping stuff. Should have took some pics. Everything was at .03 level.

lmfao 118 -33% from the tool promo but if you went to the store you would know that.

the kit isn't coming up clearance in any stores near me that's why I asked.

Considering the kit with battery and charger was also $118 at the time, I don't see your point.

Local store had a bunch of the husky cabinet/workbench stuff on clearance.

Can anyone comment on the quality, etc?

Most of the wire shelving from Husky was on clearance at Austin/Lakeline. It's the heavy duty grey shelving and the brackets and other items in the little corner of the shelving dept. Couple of the worktop cabinets were also reduced. Pardon the quick pics; but it should give you an idea if you need to fill in or even start a new system. If I had a bit more available wall space, I'd take a shot at these:

What are you guys talking about the two tank Husky air compresor. Just saw 4 this morning at a local store with the 99 dollar tag on it.

Just bought one yesterday. Inventory showed 5 in stock. Only one to be found was stashed three rows over in between some other compressors 9 feet up. The associate that was helping me hadn't seen them before. The other two guys in the aisle didn't seem to happy that I found it. Might be getting ready to drop and one of them was holding it?

He got it down for me, and it was the $99. Pretty quiet, I am remodeling the bathroom and my old compressor died.

Thought I got lucky when I found some of the Diablo Pergo blades up in overhead. Unfortunately they rang up $165 at SCO. I did manage to find a generator cord for a penny though

Finally found some penny vigoro weed and feed, 32 of them to be exact. I had a car full of about half of them after seeing the penny tag sitting on top of all of them. Took the cart to checkout in garden and showed them the penny tag and they tried to say they couldnt sell it because the system wouldnt let them even though the cashier rang it up already. They said they were supposed to throw it away because they already got vendor credit. I said i cant believe they just throw it away why not give it away. Then they discussed it with the garden supervisor and agreed to sell them only if i bought all of them so i agreed. Before i could even swipe my card other customers were in aww of how i just got them all for pennies so i started giving them away at the register.

Nice. I brought in most of the pesticides and fertilizers at work and gave it out. Still have a bunch left that I gotta give away.
Does Habitat for Humanity take stuff like that?

My local HD just had a massive inventory clean out this past week. They emptied out several of the storage racks in various sections. That used penny welder I wanted is now gone

We'll I tried to find a passload nailer but no luck. But I did score on a pair of safety glasses reg. 10.00 for 2.00 and a very heavy duty ridgid generator chord reg 60.00 for a penny. Cashier didn't want to do it she was trying to find some scanp code to give it to me for five bucks. But then a head cashier came over and told her if they find penny items just give it to them. So score for the newbie!

Its not that expensive to rent their trucks for hauling stuff. But you need some serious muscle to unload it.

HD is delivering it to my house for $20. Have no idea what drivers intentions/capabilities are for moving it once he's here, but I thought that was pretty convenient.

Would've cost me $20 just to rent their van for 75 minutes.

Also saw a Dewalt 18-20volt battery shop vac about 50% of for $45 ,sorry I forgot a pic. Speaking of ryobi 4ah battery packs that are 74.99. Would it bet a good idea to get some now and wait till they drop and price match or just wait and then buy?

Guys I went there today and I couldn't find any penny deals. How are you guys finding them?

your stores may pull penny items before you have a chance to buy them. When HD has their merchandising team in a store (my area at least) going through clearance, they will pull the penny items, throw them in a cart, and haul them to the back.

I saw this happen a few weeks ago, but managed to snag (or grab when he looked the other way) an old style apple charger for a penny for a family member in need. It ended up ringing up a penny without the SCO noticing.

I got 9 ryobi radios with chargers and batteries today for 5 bucks each, my local hd knows I been buying the new ryobi line bc I like how the batteries work with all the tools new and old. So while I was at the service desk using the computer (lets me chat with the counter girls while I'm looking for deals). Well the manager comes up and asked if I was the guy that been coming in and buying Ryobi tools every weekend, when I replied yes he asked if I would be interested in a radio with a battery for 18.63. I replied how many ya got, he told me 9 I told him I would take 3, then he asked if I'd take all 9 for $5 each! I was heck ya so I left with all 5 for 45 bucks. He was even nice enough to go get them for me!

There's also an entire thread started on this. Read that, start to finish. If you still can't find penny items then they aren't there to be had, try a different store.

Im striking out on any good deals in CT, it seems they all recently did inventory and the only cheap things left are items I don't have any use for.

What store(s) have you hit? Can take it to PM if you like.

There might be 1 or 2 stores in my area that havent completed inventory yet.

So, I finally opened the box on that Powermate 3250 I was able to score for 99.00 and it turns out the damn thing was USED.... and it was REALLY USED. I pulled it out of the box and it had 180 hours on the meter. :dunno:

I took it back to the store that I bought it from and was preparing for a fight (bought in on 2/4), but they took it back w/o question.

Wonder if I will be banned from returns for this one. This is the first return to HD for me in YEARS.
