That is the ONLY one I have not been able to find.
I bought one of the Finley's last week but I may return it if it still is at the clearance price in my area. I'd prefer it for a penny.

I bought one of the Finley's last week but I may return it if it still is at the clearance price in my area. I'd prefer it for a penny. Picked up the last two 1 1/2 ton husky jacks $18.02, up high third shelf , ask the guy if he could get them down for me and said no problem. Went to sco rang up $18.02 with the attendant warning, lady said good price on them. Paid and was on my way..

Picked up another EGO trimmer. Store display trimmer was sitting on a box outside in the garden area. Found the box in the overheads tagged DNI in the tool section. Employee got it down for me, scanned a penny. We can't sell it for that. I said that's not true. Let me get a dept. mgr. Mgr. walks to a computer does the history check. We can sell it for 55.03, not for a penny. Again, I said not true.Showed him my letter from Corporate, he took it to the MOD, he read it and said take it, it's yours.

The store still has at least 6 husky jacks but they are still $35 each? I thought the black friday stuff discounts the same at all the home depots?

I hit 4 stores today and the only one that had the jacks, they were still at 38.04.
the other 3 were listed at 18.03 but had none in stock.

I scored a .01 Ridgid Generator Cord over the weekend.
There is 1 left there in the back of all the other cords, if some one wants to mess around with putting it back in the box. the beat up box is there, the cord just needs to be put back in it. There were a few HD employees hanging around about 5' from there so i didn't mess with it.
Why continue to bring up the letter from corporate if you're not going to share it? Sounds like you're just asking to be bombarded with PM's.

w00t! I got it for my own use (and I wish people who resold would always leave one behind for some guy who desperately needs it) on Friday for $35 and today they adjusted it for me to the new $18.02. Sold out (clearance is always sold out ASAP here), but since I just bought it Friday they did it for me.

The 1.5 ton Husky Jacks were at $18.02 this evening - only one left. Last week, at $35.04, there were a dozen. The max lift height is listed on the box as 14", so I left it for someone else.

One area store did away with a clearence end cap. who knows where it went.It is on carts in another area. To many met people around it.

There was a nice Delta Shower Head/Handle set on the end cap yesterday. Box was thrashed and covered in tape to hold it together. Take it to SCO and it's "clearance" priced at $188.

I noticed this at my store, too. The clearance end cap disappeared sometime in the last month or two. Now clearance items are spread out on some folding tables in the seasonal section, normally where the snow blowers and grills are depending on the season.

I had the wifey check on something for me on her way home yesterday, the guy was really nice and kinda gave a heads up about how the districts are split down here. Which was helpful.
Interestingly enough he said .03 means it has about 3 weeks (which we know) and then it gets palleted up and charities have an opputunity to take it. Interestingly enough he said if they don't take all the pallets (at their own expense) they get thrown into the compactor. And most of the time he said they won't take it unless there's a bunch of high dollar stuff.
So, your saving things from the compactor.

Just picked up a penny Moen faucet. As I rang it up and dropped the penny in, the lady comes over and takes it from me. I get my receipt and go over to her and she is frantically typing in the SKU. She's says she can't sell the item to me. I told her she just did and here is my receipt. She balked and I basically told her I can call the cops if she wants since she is basically stealing an item I paid for and had a receipt in hand. She got scared and said I can go with it but wrote the faucet info down and headed back toward the faucet aisle. Haha

Then why did you mention the letter in the first place? Something to brag about? How are you contributing to the forum by dangling this invisible carrot?
Was it from corporate, or the local district office? I know all HD's around here are not in the business of selling penny items. So I doubt that i came from the highest up, otherwise there would be a lot more consistency among stores, or maybe there would be if you shared said letter/carrot
