I know its been stated before that Milwaukee items tend to take a long time to drop to 06 or 03 status.

Any guess on when the 18V Drill (special buy with only one batt SKU 1001249088) will drop below 59? i have found several stores with multiples of them in the overhead and nowhere to be found on the floor.

Also, what about the Milwaukee Sawzall that is currently at 115 (SKU 326993)?

thanks

The sawzall dropped to 115 about 2 weeks ago. The drill has been $59 for around 3 weeks and doubt it moves lower for a long time but we can stay hopeful.

I don't need it, but saw this on the floor without the sale price. This was located in long branch area. I don't remember which store as I went to 6 different stores on the day I photograph this. I don't need it as I have a DeWalt one. This is oil less. I prefer the oil pump.

Was the Ryobi trimmer .03 status? Keeping an eye on a few near me currently at 75.06.

They just went to .03 status here today, so they should be about that everywhere. The local HD seems to lag way behind everybody else. Stuff that is .03 most places is still at the .00 stage here most of the time.

Saw a couple tags at 129.00 around Philly. Thought it was a decent deal. I like the oil pumps also, was hesitant for that reason.

In re. To return rebuy. If. Store a has item for 75.00. Other store has item for 150. Can I buy. 150. Go to. 75.00 store, return item for 150. Then rebuy item at 75.00?

I've done it a few times. Twice with the the bosch glr225. Bought em both at 108 and did a price adjustment at $19. Also did it with the paslode trim nailer. Bought em at $399 and return rebuy at $100. Only had an issue once and just left the store and tried again a few days later at a complete different time

Some will only do it if u have said item with u and receipt others just want to receipt.

Snagged a shed for 250.03. While at customer service, another employee looked at the tag and said that was a heck of a price and where I found it. I bought it and will pick it up in a week. They put a sticker on it and then was going to move to the back. Let's hope it's actually there when I go to pick it up!I looked at some other stores and didn't not see any paslodes on sale yet. There were some unmarked rustoleum kits mixed in with the new 2.5 car packages. Could use the shed , so at 75% off, I'm happy.

They delivered mine to my house for only $20 so long as I could be there to 'assist' the driver. Don't know if you need it - but, might not be a bad option - that box will be a pain in the *** to move.

The guy dumped it in my backyard with a forklift haha.

For those considering buying the Fusion shed (if you can find it) and concerned about damaged parts, I'll share my experience. I bought one at the $250 level and during assembly found that one of the roof components was damaged. Went to the Keter website, Parts request, http://www.keter.com/categories/parts-request/ and completed a form requesting a replacement part. When requesting the part, it asks for a reason and one of the choices is "Broken in Packaging". I chose this and submitted the online request (you also need to upload a copy of your receipt) and within a few hours received confimation that my request had been approved. Couple of days later received Fedex shipping confirmation. Should have the part in 3-5 days.

Also, assembly is not all that complicated; just a bunch of screws to drive in.

Something strange happened today, I just went to a store that I havent been to in over 2 weeks. I found a ridgid generator cord and a bosch 225ft laser. I went to self checkout and scanned them and a water and then swiped my HD card. The attendant was about to remove the spider wrap from the bosch laser when the manager came over and accused me of scanning a phony upc and asked me how I did it and where it was and what I scanned to get it to ring up as a penny. He said the system wont allow it to ring for a penny. I pointed to the upc on the box. Then 2 big burly MF'ers come over and 1 of them bumps my shoulder with his chest and says he is with store security and asked where the fake upc was and that they need me to walk to the back with them. I told them to scan it for themselves and see that they are a penny. They were surprised that it rang up a penny and said its not supposed to do that. They were convinced that I hacked there system or something. They voided the transaction and took the items.

I was in the store for over an hour looking at tile and paint after finding the penny items. They must have been watching me since I walked in or something because the store security was waiting at the front and the manager was hovering around self checkout. I didnt notice them though because they were all in street clothes and none of them had an orange apron or anything HD related.

Needless to say I called corporate on my way home because of how they handled that. They treated my like a criminal in front of other customers. Even though I had a receipt and scanned the items upc not some fictitious upc that they believed I had. I dont know if I will ever go back there. I didnt even grab everything that I could have. There were 2 boxes of fiskar penny items that they are oblivious to.

Curious if there is any update to this story

please keep us updated on this....very curious to see what the Main store manager wants to talk about and do.....should be interesting if you take your lawyer friend with you.... Hell...maybe secretly record the meeting....video or voice......you know they probably are going to secretly video tape and record your meeting.... ???

I think secretly taping or recording a conversation is illegal, at least in california it is something about having to have 'two-party consent'. Im sure I could walk in and say 'im going to record this if thats ok with you'.

just have anybody if you need that 2nd party consent, but preferably one of those guys we all hate, but love when we need
I asked 1 of my friends what I should do and he said if he wasnt busy he would love to go f**k with some retail pr**k, his words not mine haha, I told him what good are lawyer friends if they are always busy.

Curious if there is any update to this story

I called the store last night after work and talked to the manager that left the message. Im still not sure if he is the store manager or just 1 of the managers that was working yesterday. His name wasnt the 1 on the website. Anyways he said that they should have sold the items for a penny and that I could come back and he has them waiting at the pro desk for me. He didnt seem all to concerned with how the loss prevention team treated me. He only asked if they took me to the back of the store. I tried asking him about their policy when it comes to LP and he said he isnt familiar with how they do their job. He was more concerned with the fact that I said I didnt want to shop at his store anymore.

I agreed to go back today and talk to him in person.

Thanks for the information on the sheds. I have a pick up truck that is in use by a family member. When they are wrapped up with it, I will have HD forklift it into the truck and then unload a piece or box at a time. For 20 bucks though, that would be worth it.

I did read a lot of reviews that said parts and pieces were broken. It will be a couple months before I build it, so I will have to keep that in mind for ordering broken parts

I would walk back into the store and demand to talk to the actual store manager (what you are dealing with seems to be the MOD - Manager Of the Day).

And I for sure would mention being bullied and even contacted by their loss prevention team.

Im not usually a person that likes to rock the boat but it looks like they crossed a line that a customer wouldnt cross without consequences (think of if the other way - if they said hey you cant buy that and you got all bouncer-ish on them and bumped up against them, what would they have to say about it?)

Good luck either way.

Anyone else notice that the HD website no longer shows the store manager name and picture? The mobile app still list the name though.

Any guess on when the 18V Drill (special buy with only one batt SKU 1001249088) will drop below 59? i have found several stores with multiples of them in the overhead and nowhere to be found on the floor.

Just had a strange experience buying the above drill at $59 here in Atlanta. Checked several stores and few had them in stock. Did find one store that had 10 in stock, all were located in the top bin in the tool section. I told a employee that I wanted to get sku xxxx drill which I can see up top, he gets a ladder and then just walks off with the drill without saying anything. I follow him and nicely but loudly state "oh I can take it, need to get a few other items" thinking he might be carrying it to a register for me or something. I didnt think he had any reason to go scan it. Of course he ignores me, goes and scans the drill, which pulls up $59. Then he seemed panicked and called a few other employees over to discuss the price, lol. I asked if there was a problem and he simply says, "it's $59!" I just responded, "yea, it comes with just one small battery and was a promotional item, whats the problem?" After the MOD calls him, he just hands it to me and tells the other tool employee that they had to get all of them down from the top.

This store also had several of the Milwaukee 2 pack razon knives for $7 up in the middle shelf in a box that I had found two weeks ago, think I might go back at another time to get those given the excitement the $59 drill was creating, lol.

When they said they needed to get the rest of them you should have told them "yes please, Ill buy those too"

I did think about it but at $59, I quickly checked ebay and it seems to be full of these or individual parts of the kit. It comes with a first gen? small capacity M18 LI battery and dual size battery charger. I only wanted the batt and charger and will probably sell the drill. If it was $30 or less, then yes I would have bought all of them.

Ahh, a wise man! Actually looking before buying a ton of stuff assuming profit :)

I do the same even though there are some deals I still dont pass up just in case (just got the 35.00 whole house fan from Lowes.....too big and awkward to ship, maybe it will sell on CL)

MOD is actually Manager on Duty

I stand corrected :) (just dont tell my wife)

Sounds like these would have not been found until they were dirt cheap.

its $65 here to deliver, I'll let my brother figure it out, I got it for him since he was still at work. I'd rather not have to help him unload it and I know his lawn is a swamp after all the snow we had.

I found one store with the m18 sawzaw kit , claimed the display was the only one in stock and didn't have the rest of it to sell it complete. Said something about the store eating the cost if he had to sell it cheaper, then tried to sell the bare display to me for 115 when the bare tool is now $109 in the same store brand new in the box. I'll have to go back when someone else is working and see if I can find the DNI box for that kit.

Just an FYI-

There were two separate delivery methods - one was where I needed to be here to assist ($20) and the other was called 'curbside delivery' or something like that where I suppose they'd drop it somewhere on your property without requiring your assistance (that was around $70).

I'd check into it if you haven't already done so and you think it's worth it.

[my apologies if you already looked into ALL options and you know your cheapest to your area is $65 - just trying to help]

I just got a voicemail from the store manager stating that he got an email from customer care about some confusion between me and his loss prevention team about penny items. He says he wants to discuss what happened with me. hmm...

Make sure you ask for some bottled water during the discussion

Well.. I just lost 2 delta tempo2 to a smart-*** young HD csr with a ladder.. Yeah.. I misjudged his character, damn guy turned into HD hero.. F me..
Next time I am getting on that orange ladder or the forklift.
Had a display echo pb500t, no sku or tags and they wouldn't accept my pic if sku # which would penny.. They had 5 workers surrounding this blower and salivating.. 2 of them were managers, made up a number and told me $200..I told them they can keep it.
Another store,, as I am entering, they go after a guy going out cart full of tools, Dyson vac. He runs for it and a car pulls up to him and they take off.. Leaving the loot... Never a dull moment on the quest of HD deals.
