Well.. I just lost 2 delta tempo2 to a smart-*** young HD csr with a ladder.. Yeah.. I misjudged his character, damn guy turned into HD hero.. F me..
Next time I am getting on that orange ladder or the forklift.
Had a display echo pb500t, no sku or tags and they wouldn't accept my pic if sku # which would penny.. They had 5 workers surrounding this blower and salivating.. 2 of them were managers, made up a number and told me $200..I told them they can keep it.
Another store,, as I am entering, they go after a guy going out cart full of tools, Dyson vac. He runs for it and a car pulls up to him and they take off.. Leaving the loot... Never a dull moment on the quest of HD deals.

That's when YOU swoop in and grab the tools. It's in the parking lot.... Scatter!

I'll bring your spirits up. 05 cents uploadfromtaptalk1455842954342.jpg

That's the spirit! I dropped $.12 on all this stuff at a single store today. I was up in Houston picking up something at a relatives and decided to stop by a few HD's to do real quick 10-15 minute searches for some of the common items (Moen Faucets, Rachios, Paslodes, Chamberlains, etc.) but struck out at all but the one store.

It's gotten to the point where I don't even bother taking the Schlage stuff out of the boxes anymore. I just open the box, pull one unit out and scan it by however many I have in the box. To those in Houston, the HD on S. Fry Rd has the most Schlage stuff I have EVER seen in the overhead. That was my last stop in the area and was too pressed for time to do a search but I guarantee there is a ton of penny stuff up there.

Any info on the small dewalt radios that were on clearance ? My store had 6 sitting at 84.03 which really wasn't a deal. Waited for them to drop but they just pulled them off the shelf. All the tool clearance is gone. I'd be interested in one if someone got them cheap. Lmk. Thanks

They were not worth it... Maybe at penny level. I returned mine at the 40 dollar level

No that is not on clearance at my store

I stopped by an HD somewhat close to me earlier and they had 3 of those on the Clearance end cap. I looked up the SKU on the PCA and it said not found. I was going to go to the SCO and scan it but they pulled the gate shut at 6pm! Never seen them close the SCO that early.

Looks like SPN set me straight. Thank you sir!! Now I know which ones to look for.

Sounds like these would have not been found until they were dirt cheap.

That also was a thought but these were clearly visible with numbers facing out to the isle and in this area, stores are picked clean way before the "good stuff" drops to great deal level. I was just more surprised the employees were acting like this was at penny pricing, $59 is a good price but I would not drive 30 miles out of the way to get this at that price.

Most of the really good deals I've gotten in the Atlanta area involved hours of searching to find something like a tool box on the top rafters misplaced in plumbing or something. Basically lost in a poorly inventoried store.

Sorry to be obnoxious - I've lost it, though..

Would you mind passing along the sku of that Schlage entry set? Thanks.

Almost certain all the Schlage stuff local to me had turned over and been cleaned out.

Thanks!

I will waste much time tmrw in search of one haha

[HD.com says no stores within 100 miles carries this item. Great.]

HD.com doesn't mean anything. The fact that it shows they don't carry it anywhere means it was either clearance at all those stores, or they never stocked it.

Get shopping!!

Man Oh man, I wish I would have driven through the entire state of Florida for those Watts 1" double blow back valves. I've sold 50 of them this week alone, plus another 20 last month. Got them at 7 dollars before they hit a penny, by far the best deal I've ever gotten at HD. Made 3200 after all the fees and shipping. Things are slow now at HD not much on clearance, that will change in time things will pop up again here and there. Heck I've flipped a bunch of stuff last month from Lowe's too sold 9 Reliance circut transfer switches and made 60 bucks of each one. So do not despair you will find new items to buy in due time.

Only valve I've seen for a penny is that sharkbite #742939.

I didn't really see any of the valves, though I didn't shop real hard for them either. That's a heckuva profit though! I'm about to start listing my 50+ door handles on eBay. I haven't had many bites locally. I should be able to turn $1000 in profit off of them if I sell them at 50% of retail, but I'm likely going to list them for 75% of retail at first. I only have 40 cents in them so it won't kill me to hold on to them.

I need to start looking i never find anything but don't look hard.. id love to find some z-wave keypads for my alarm.

Good luck! All of the stores Ive been to in CT seemingly did their Schlage "reset" a while ago but I havent been to your stores.

All the stuff is in the updated packaging and there is very little in overhead storage. And whatever is in overhead is all the newer SKUs.

I sold my 3/4" valves pretty quick. The 1/2" ones seem to be selling but I can't get rid of the couple hundred bucks Worth I have laying on the shelf. I'm not sure.

I took a big risk on a bunch of that Malibu lighting stuff... shipped about 8 600w and a few other sized transformers and they turned out to make some decent earnings. I haven't had the luck with the lockets though. Here and there.

Got lucky and found myself a zebra label printer locally the other day for $50, going pro!

Do you have any interior "Camelot" stuff?

What is the best (i.e. cheapest) way to ship those valves? Do you put the box they come in, in a larger box?

I only found clearance Watts valves at one store I looked at, and I bought all 10. I believe they are a different type though. I need to start selling them.

I think I put it up for 100 shipped then a couple at 75 plus shipping. Honestly the best way I think was the one I out up for auction and let it sit there all week

Can you see a date on the tag for the $475 pellet smoker?

Sorry to blurry on phone to give a date. If I had to guess it looks like January 12, 2016? It wasn't a local store and I was quickly walking through. Kind took a picture as I walked because it was over $200 off a $700 item.

Np, thanks.

Curious how long before it drops again....its a good deal already but would be incredible at .06 pricing. Not too many stores actually carry them, though (at least around me)

No real way to ship the last shipment I shipped was 10 to Washington from Miami Fedex ground for 110 dollars insured and signed. so thats 11 bucks each for shipping. But at 7 bucks each it leaves me a good profit margin. I face the bleeder valves towards the inside of the box, normally I do 6 per box. Packed well in one large Lowes box. I get alot of free boxes from work that I use to fill in the voids. If I ship them one at a time, I open the box tape it well and protect the small valves, and just ship it with the original box. its normally 10 to 12 bucks each vis Fedex that why I list lower 48 stated only.

I noticed when I go Into the price checker program on the PC, it doesn't give me an option to search by clearance

you have to use the "filter results" button at the top left of the screen.
scroll down and check the "clearance" button the click "back to results" (top left of screen).

I don't know how missed it, but the Ridgid Gen5x Brushless (Charger, Battery, 1/2" Hammer Drill, Circular Saw, and Bag) was $129, marked down.
