I think he was referring to the 50/100/150 off promo where you buy a qualifying tool kit and it spreads the discount out over the kit and a 2nd item.

But that has long been over (ended Jan 31) so no sense mentioning it. And Im not even sure the Ridgid kit was down to 129 during that promo time anyway.

it was only down to $129 at the tail end, maybe last 3 or 4 days of jan. but it was sort of ymmv on that particular set bc online price vs in store price were two diff prices and that dewalt trick was doable online only..
it wasnt discussed here as extensively as it was in other threads on other forums. definitely over and not worth discussing other than to say: if theres something you want and dont need immediately, chances are they will run that promo again next yr...

I think I put it up for 100 shipped then a couple at 75 plus shipping. Honestly the best way I think was the one I out up for auction and let it sit there all week

The only Camelot trimmed anything that I've got is an F40 V ACC 716 CAM. That's the aged bronze accent handle bed/bath privacy lock with Camelot trim.

Damn. Looking for some brushed nickel. I guess I will have to pay full price.... :willy_nil

Actually it didn't work with that promo. I tried when the ridgid combo was down to $149. That particular set did not trigger the discount and the mgrs would not override that. But that was last month. And so I passed on the combo.

I got it to work with that combo. I ordered online, for instore pickup at one of the only stores that had both kits in stock in my area.

Guess I should have tried online, but I preferred going in, so I could stack another 10% off one of the items

I did online for store pickup, then stacked a 20% Q when I came in. $80+tax for that Ridgid brushless driver/circ saw set. Did the same for the Ridgid brushed impact driver + battery set, $30+tax. Ymmv of course.

Picked up my first penny item today. 3/4 x 18 braided water heater hose hook up. Only one. Must have been overlooked. I can't find penny items in the three stores I go to. I did score two nailers for the 100.03 and that was me enlightening the employees in both stores I found them in.

The pheasant lane mall Home Depot is always scarce for deals. I've found plenty at the northern Nashua Home depot though. Also Merrimac is good for deals. The HD in Londonderry is hit or miss.

Seen quite a few of these in the rafters of some of the stores I visit. Last time I purchased a set they were $3.83. Are they now a penny? If so, may need to see if I can get my hands on a couple more.....Thanks.

At HD right now. Found this watts in the over head with this sku written on it. Went to ring it up. It said please wait for attendant so I backed out real quick and ran. Not for sure if this is the penny one or not? can anyone confirm that it is, and if so how should I proceed?

Did you scan the original Barcode or the yellow sticker? Don't scan the yellow sticker and find the original Barcode. Also to get the right Barcode scan using the price check first then add to the transaction

Rang up as 190. Sorry, that one had a different model number than the other 1 in. With a taped on sku I haven't had a "please see attendant" pop up yet so didn't know what to do.

Opinion wanted. sold a faucet on ebay. Packages was strapped and unopened. My mistake not checking before shipping.
Auction says no returns.
buyer sends msg. Hey this wasn't protected inside the box. No damage to box, but there are 3 scratches on the neck of the faucet. I want a refund and return.

I dont answer for two hours, and the guy starts an ebay damage return claim. Which with me having no returns, I have to eat the shipping back to me if ebay decides in favor of this guy.

I write msg back to him explaining he couldhave given me more than two hours. (as in his claim he mentions he stilllllllll hasn't heard from seller) Tell him the box was like that from manufacturer and to contact delta. Delta tells him 40.00 plus shipping or return it to seller.
I have an extra one I could replace his with but I don't want to pay shipping three times. And after my last reply, he replied and is already on the Did you get my message did you get my message?

Not enough experience with ebay. Will they side with seller or buyer, and would you just eat the cost and exchange the faucet for him?

Call eBay up directly and explain to them that it was new unopened and no shipping damage. Tell them you think the guy is trying to scam you by returning a used one and keeping the one you sent.

Another option is to call Delta, act like you're the buyer and give them his shipping address. Tell them it was missing a part in the box or it was damaged in the box, and the box was new unopened. Tell them you can't return it to HD because it was on clearance and they no longer carry it.
That worked for me for a couple parts for a Glacier Bay faucet. The difference, though, is that when you call Glacier Bay, you're actually calling Home Depot.

I've gotten plenty of free replacement parts from other companies as well.. Dewalt/Stanley/Black and Decker, Ryobi, Echo.
Just be careful how you word it. And don't mention that it was a penny, if it even was.

Found a couple of the Bostitch F28WW framing nailers that just hit the .03 price ($58.03). This was a store that didn't clearance them out last summer when most other stores did.

What state are you in? Would be helpful to know if I should look here in GA or not.
