Good two finds for the last two stores of the night, only store I've found these fountains on sale. I guess they're no longer carrying them at that location. Got covered in mouse **** taking them down by myself from 7ft but manager just let me walk out so that was awfully polite. Didn't offer me assistance in loading them into the truck tho :/.
Paslode had no wrapper probably a return but not complaining I finally found one!

I just bought a can of that degreaser. It was indeed $1.50. There was also a sticker on it with a mail in rebate form, which will make the can free. If you didn't see the sticker, someone probably peeled it off and took it home with them.

Please post sku #'s, prices and locations of items found so it's easier to find the items in different locations.

Found Epoxy shield today

And also saw a couple of these Husky Stainless steel workbenches. Anyone have any luck selling these? Pretty good mark down for sure.

Also noticed Kwikset locks, etc are starting to get clearanced. Found a couple Port a torches but still full price.

The one store also had some store model Lincoln welders still expensive though and a Paslode Finish Nailer for $299. Finish nailer might of been used or a display? Do they ever rent out them?

Those 2.5 epoxy kits are still 99.00 by me. I bought the 3 single car ones for 17 a piece. I need a 2.5 kit yet and clear.

I picked up the Sutton shed over the summer, different model but aprox. the same size.

It would not fit in my 4x8 trailer laying down... There were two boxes, each 5x7 or 5x8 I believe. We ended up standing them on edge and strapping it down.

Yup and if u have the item/model number u can easily get the sku on HD.com

On the bigger items sometimes its better to know the model nu,ber simce those are usally written on a few deifferent sides of the box.

Yea I almost got it too, they dropped to 150 everywhere down here, but gonna hold off because some stores still have 3-4 in stock. I'll wait a month and then check if it goes down some more.

I had an interesting experience at the Dan Ryan, Chicago store this morning. I went in and was looking for the 1.5 ton Husky Jack (they had 10 last week). I was browsing the overheads and found none. I then went to the Pro Desk Computer (they have at least 16 Pro computers there) and started checking prices on my list. A HD employee comes up and asks if I need any help.

I reply as I always do "no thanks, just checking a couple of prices."
She then asks - "why are you always looking for clearance items?". I reply " just looking for a deal on some things I need"

She then says she is going to call the manager. I just keep right on working while she calls the MOD. after she gets off the phone, she comes back to me and says that "according to corporate, you are only allowed to use the dot com site on the computer".

I politely let her know that the price check app is for customer use according to corporate. In the meantime, the price check app has a "server error" and quits working all together... hmmm..

She then tells me that "you and another guy are always in here looking for clearance items. I told him the same thing. You are always looking in the overhead. I have been to 10 stores and I have seen you in them as well. If you need to walk the overhead, then you should ask us to walk them with you." I guess In my area, I have been flagged as a persistent overhead "looker upper". I have never been on the ladder to get in the overhead, just always look up.

I just politely said OK and left. I have only found a few penny items and am not even as crazy as some of you on here. Maybe they are scared that I will sue if I hurt my neck from looking up so much... haha...

That would piss me off so much. We aren't allowed to buy clearance items or something?

The box didn't fit between the wheels wells in my full size dodge. It did "press" fit between. They are extremely heavy. Unless your HD has a few guys to load it be wary. or bring some 4x4 to set in your bed to raise it up and make it easier for the fork lift operator to load it. I loaded by hand with another guy and never again.

Read somewhere that it rest on top of the wheel wells of someone's full size F-250. I either rented a truck from Home Depot (cost me $50 for two hours) or rent a 6x12 trailer from Uhaul (cost me 60 for the day plus two dolleys).

It's like they don't even want to sell clearance stuff... They would rather have the expense of removing it from the shelf, packing it up, sending it back etc.

If you did your job I wouldn't have to search the overheads... Stuff would get sold.

You'll probably want to note which model(s) you're interested in.

I'm doing a complete remodel on the the 2 bathrooms at home so any type of fan would do it. The fan itself without light prob will work best but I can make those bigger ones with light work as well. I have the whole ceiling removed so everything is very easy.

Edited: actually, I need something with at least 70 CFM

Snagged some Nutons vent fans last night for pennies. 4 of the 763rln, 1 of the QTN110LE and 1 QTN80L

The ones with the light are same size as the same model without the light I believe.

I would go with one of the 110 CFM ones.

good point.
One of the stores I have been to even has one of these computers in the tool aisle with a sign that says its for public use.

I've had stores disconnect them from the servers on me also. happened after I questioned how they showed 14 Milwaukee kits on hand but couldn't find a single one.

I bought two of those clearance sheds, tried to buy a third last night but an employee bought it as they where ringing it up. My brother got a fusion, his buddy got the majestic, we where going to buy a second majestic for another buddy. They had 3 when I paid for it the day before. Half way threw ringing it up she said someone just bought it lol. it was the woman working the next terminal at the CS desk.

A lot of them don't want to sell the clearance, they hide it in the rafters because they no it will penny out or be a killer deal just before penny status.
When we went to arrange deliver for the fusion shed, the lady working customer service complained and said she wanted that shed for her son in law. I thought she was joking when she said "oh your the one who bought it"
Told her to go buy the display, she complained that it was in pieces. It need the door replaced. Some employees don't care, Others act like your stealing because your taking deals away that they where going to buy or have family and friends buy.

Im not so sure its the employee stashing stuff away as much as it is just purely horrible inventory tracking.

A family member works with someone that has a 2nd job at Home Depot. She says they have SO MUCH stuff in overhead that they dont know about, its amazing. Most of the time they know its there but its "too high" to bother getting it, some stuff is up there but hidden behind bigger stuff, etc.

Ive basically been able to get most of the deals posted here and in the 2015 thread, so I would tend to think there isnt much being hidden around here. The inventory counts, oddly enough, are rarely higher than actuality which again would indicate people arent hiding stuff.

I still remember the DeWalt planer that was on clearance down to 137.00 a while ago. There was one on the shelf at my local store labelled WITH the 137.00 price sticker and no one bought it. I couldnt believe it when I walked by, of course I bought it myself.

This site is abut helping people not insulting them. I found deals and posted the sku # and store locations or which store still had the item.

When they are new items yes, but when you are asking about things that have been posted dozens of times then you should be able to do a quick research yourself and find the info you are looking for.

Same thing happened to me this past weekend with the Majestic shed. I was purchasing it at the CS desk so I could do Will Call and pick it up later and at the same time someone else purchased it at the Garden register. In this case both transactions went through without anyone knowing it. After the CS lady finished with my transaction we walked out to Garden to put the Will Call sticker on it and the Garden associates were already moving it with the forklift for the other guy. The workers checked inventory and sure enough it had gone from 1 to -1. Fortunately the MOD was great and was able to arrange a transfer from another local store that still had it at regular price.

All of the husky cabinets and bench where on a second round of mark downs yesterday at my local store. I got a base cabinet for $39 bucks. The wall cabinets with the open shelves were down to $44. The tall cabinets were down to $118 I believe. All the prices were $X.00, and not the normal .06 or .03.

Sorry I don't have the SKUs with me at the moment.

They are popping up on CL though!
