So, for the most part, it looks like they're getting rid of their markdown schedule right? Everything seems to be ending in 00 now.

I'm going to pull an SPN tomorrow and take my little one with me while searching for those.

The Rust-oleum garage epoxy clear is $19.03 here but couldn't find any. There are lots of the old style gray but they're still full price. That's what I really want

Look for Makita and Dewalt's 2-Piece Brushless Sets on Clearance, they've been marked down according to Slickdeals.net

The Makita is around $165 (another 20% off, may be a lot less, YMMV), item availability varies by location

Does anyone know if the store app on your phone will show the penny price if you scan it with the app?

In Boston for an interview and stopped by an HD...was shocked to find the price check scanners throughout the store!!! I'm tempted to take the job and move to the area simply for that reason :)

Only one way to find out

It can be an indicator if you scan it and it says it's not in the store, there's a possibility that it's penny. But I wouldn't take it worth anything.

You have to go into the store and check, every time, every store and that's the only way to know. Period.

Yeah this weather is wild... Thunderstorms in February in the Northeast? Freaky.

Thought I'd found a unicorn tonight. Paslode nailer without a cardboard sleeve in the clearance. Had the security web on it and a clearance tag that was mostly torn off. Dug a bit and found the rest of the tag. Turned out to be a recon finish nailer marked down to $299 with the bod a couple of weeks ago. Total bummer.
Did see a clearance shelf tag in the garden shop for a Handy Home Princeton 10x10 shed. None in stock but had been marked down from $799 to $200.

Oh interesting. I scanned a barcode of that wine cooler I had saved on my phone, and it came up as a penny.

Here's a good one-time use code, for lawn and garden (should work on outdoor power equipment or pellets)

$25 OFF
$100 Purchase in Lawn & Garden
Cashier:
1.Scan the barcode. If barcode does not scan, enter the 26-digit promotion code.
2.Tear the Coupon in half and discard.

Promotion Code

9815 4000 0020 2390 0467 2856 39
barcode

Edit: you guys should all sign up for HD Pro emails and the Garden Club. I get numerous coupon codes every week.

I plan to use mine on the Ego sting trimmer on clearance.

:lol_hitti man just like in Target? boy that would be awesome. Then again more people would find deals, and that would mean less penny deals for us experienced shoppers. :pimpflash

It's the best part about Home Depot in Massachussetts. New Hampshire and Maine doesn't have them.

I basically just grab a bunch of stuff that looks old, mostly from their clearance shelves which are usually a mess, and scan it all at the price checkers. It will tell you if it's a penny or "not found" (dropped out of the system).

I'm sure someone's dumb enough to steal one of those pricing guns and sell it on eBay.... How to connect it at each store discreetly....

I have seen those on shelves, ladders, in carts, and various other areas with no employee around. I wonder how many they lose just to careless employees. I would never pick 1 up and even if someone did I am pretty sure they have to log in to use those.

Fusion shed just hit penny in my area. Got 3 this morning. Be on the lookout.

3 for a penny each, how did you manage that? Did they even notice or is it 1 of the few stores that follows corporate policy?

Man I cant even find 1 for $250.

I just ripped the sku off the front of the box, walked it to checkout, and paid. Then I went back, handed them the receipt, and paid the delivery fee.

the question we're all wondering is - we understand how the payment process works, so not that - but, how did you physically move the 600 pound, 4'x8' box (3 of them), so briskly around the store?

i had a hell of a time finding one for $250, let alone 3 at a penny - would've been a miracle to even move the box around in the store - let alone find it, move it, have them agree to a penny, pay, etc.

Sounds like he left them on the shelf, walked the sku over, and paid. I would have done the same but Im Not sure I could walk the sku to checkout maybe if I got the UPC. Also all the ones I have seen are on the very top shelf and even if that worked if I hand them a receipt with a penny on it and say can you get that down for me they would probably freak out and alert the managers.

Picked up 3 more Husky 28" Wall cabinets at $29 (final markdown per CSR). Also bought the remainder of the Husky Wall track (32 of 4 foot pieces) with a bunch of attachments. Now I need to try to get the other 2 cabinets price adjusted. Saw a few base cabinets & tall floor cabinets but waiting to see if they drop more yet.

Does anyone have any of the mounting brackets for the 28" Wall cabinets that they are not using that they want to sell? I only have one from all the display models I bought.

Its label "H"
