wuestion on the met teams. I know they come through and pull old stock. Straighten up shelves. Do inventory etc.

Anything else they do?

Does each store have its own team or are they contractors that wander district to district? Seems most of my stores have MET teams in them now

It appears that around here, Clearance pricing is dropped on the 6th of the month. Considering that's coming up. i'd expect to see some of the tool kits drop. But that may not be for every region or store.

The home depot south of me will accept Lowe's coupons but not harbor freight, which ***** because that's the one on the way home from work. The one north of me will accept them though, so that's where I'll go. :thumbup:

How are you guys getting those sheds? I saw one at my local HD but it was on a second tier shelf. And there wasn't a visible sku that I could rip off. Did you ask them to take it down and check out. I don't feel like paying a thousand for one of these sheds

I got mine at the 250 level. Just told them I wanted it and they rang it up at the service desk. If yours is at a penny they may turn you down though

For the GJer's that have bought and returned @ another store to rebuy at a lower price.

Any tips or tricks for doing this?

The item is clearance at the store I'm wanting to return it to, to buy back at a lower price..not for sure if it will be an issue.

First time poster, hope to be able to contribute alot here..Normally had been a slickdeals user but you guys are so much more active here. Didn't discover you guys until a few days ago..

But this morning score (2) Ridgid 6 gallon vertical compressors. New in box $43,display $36 !!!!Best score yet. Got a ton of the Ryobi radios, and hedge trimmers but consider this the slickest yet.. I usually snag enough to sell and cover cost of me keeping a couple for myself and gifts.

Anyhow, hadn't seen anyone mention that compressor lately but most definitely still out there.

And nice deal! I havent seen the Ridgid compressor in a LONG time. I bought mine at the $79.00 price but a friend of mine would be interested at the new price point.

I consider myself lucky to get the one I did and that was right when it dropped to 79 (October/November I think)

I had one denied this week. I sent an email through their contact page asking why. Got a reply next week saying it was approved. No reason stated though.

I sent in 4 receipts and 3 were approved. One had a subtotal of $188 but they approved it for $338 which had the $150 discount for buying the tool promotion added back to it. In the end im short 11% of $80.

You should be able to just take in your receipt.

I've been having the worst luck lately with shipping.

Some of the USPS stuff I sent was totally removed and they dropped off an empty package.

Some of the ups stuff I had marked as fragile was totally beaten and damaged. Wtf

Does HD adjust prices for clearance items? I bought the 1.5 ton jack when it was $39 about a month ago, now its $18, will they adjust that?

Yes they will up to 90 days as long as u have receipts
