For the GJer's that have bought and returned @ another store to rebuy at a lower price.

Any tips or tricks for doing this?

The item is clearance at the store I'm wanting to return it to, to buy back at a lower price..not for sure if it will be an issue.

I just go shirt less......[emoji39]

Ego mower down to 1/2 price, pretty bummed I wasn't able to get the Keter shed at $250, every store that had it was full price, none in stock at clearanced stores.

Each store has different pricing on clearance items so you'd need to do it at a store that has it at the lower clearance price.

I've been having the worst luck lately with shipping.

Some of the USPS stuff I sent was totally removed and they dropped off an empty package.

Some of the ups stuff I had marked as fragile was totally beaten and damaged. Wtf

I've shipped a lot of stuff USPS and FedEx lately. No reports of damage and/or missing items but these folks are simply refusing to leave feedback on FleaBay. Makes me nervous. :(

Get some fancy cards that say if you like what you received kindly leave positive feedback. My wife thinks those are always great when she gets them.

It will come through eventually. People just forget to do it. I have that problem on Amazon. Have sold like 80 things, still says "just launched" with no feedback ha.

Did you fill that form out for more than 1? Or did you only submit 1? or did they just apply it to all of them. I spend a lot of money in home depot, so I'm sitting on about 40 receipts for that period.
I filled it out for the one that didn't get approved. Just input that tracking number. If you have more I would put them into the comment section.

HD just called... seems they ran the forklift threw the shed trying to load it and want to offer a credit, guess I have to wait until my brother wakes up and answers his damn phone to run over and see how bad they screwed it up. They all ready gave me the it was a clearance shed line. Wonder how much **** I will have to raise to have them order a replacement lol.

What & where is the tracking number? Did you get a tracking # if you filled out the rebate online?

I've always gotten a tracking number, through an email, when it was received by HD and that it was in processing.

If it's the Keter it may not be too big of a deal. I'd unbox it there and see what all got messed up. If it's just a few pieces they can call Keter or a HD distribution center and they'll ship you whatever is broken. Had a wall piece break on me while putting it together. Went in and they called and had it delivered straight to the house.

Tried it, Store B came up as RTV, so they said no dice on the return/rebuy.

Well first off it wont work for penny items...that how u usually get the Return to Vendor....but any other items it works....if they dont want to do just leave and come back at a later time....i've had to do that once and have done the return rebuy a few times...its the same way how some stores flip out over penny items and some could care less. Just gotta keep tryin....absolute worse case u just do a regular return and get ur money back

So apparently if I ship to a "parcel locker" at a trailer park (where it was delivered) and someone says they "never received it", it's my problem, right?

Not a huge deal, just one of the cheap Nutone fans. Either way though, I did my part correctly and USPS did their part correctly.

Will have to try again. Though this item. Was being clearanced at this particular store for slow moving. I suspect when
They ran out of stock. It went to no longer stocked in store. So they couldn't do anything with it. I bet the key is to make sure store still has one in stock

Here is a deal I saw yesterday, though none in stock..Did find quite a few of these at another store i stopped at, but they were full price($299) unfortunately. That is the part that kills me sometimes!

The thing that's interesting is look at the sku and it's the same as this set in the HD link, but it lists a grinder being included. The clearance screen doesn't mention that..The ones I found, did indeed include grinders. So I should be able to buy the sets with grinders I found, and take to store that list it as clearance and since sku is same they will ring at cheap price? Is this set a great deal you think? Here is link.

Dude that *****, you know what I've been doing lately I've enter the address on google maps and look at the front of the house and the neighborhood. Most of the rural areas I don't require signature, if it's a new eBay customer that as purchased very little, or an apartment, or a more dense neighborhood I add signurture. Yea it's 3-4 more dollars but I just don't want the hassle.

they wanted to refund.... they nailed two wall pieces with the forks and broke a good 4" off two off them, They agreed to give us the parts from the display and knocked some money off it. I figured keter would send replacements anyway so now its a couple day delay and an even better discount.

I just scored a 12 sections of Husky wall track. they were both store's displays, as no one has any of it new anywhere. Both stores I told I wanted to buy the hooks that were on clearance (now 75% off) but they didn't have the track. The first store offered the 6 displays for free if they weren't in the system (they weren't), and after that score I tried another location. The 2nd store took some time to find a sku, and said they are $1.90 a piece, but offered them for $1 each if I bought all 6 (much better than 3 @ $1.90).

Also scored a brand new Husky floor cabinet ($40), and 2 more Rubbermaid 32gal trash cans ($7.50).

The 2nd store I stopped at for the Husky track, was also where I bought the Ryobi hedge trimmer display, but only got the battery with it (brain was idling the night of purchase). I told the customer service lady, and she called a mangager up. I told him that I was only expecting a beat up unit from storage, but he came up with a new in box dual-chemistry charger ($40 new) and rang it out for a penny that he took care of.

Also saw Bosch 14-piece dare-devil spade bits down to $10.04 (sku 1001-399-723)

Will u be using the tracks to hold heavy stuff? Be careful, and read the reviews on them.

shop first, think/research :headscrat later (and free is hard to pass up). but thank you, I will look into that. Just planned on typical things like shovels, rakes, brooms, and hoses. got a few of the baskets for rags & spray bottles.

edit: just looked at the 6-pack reviews that is discontinued online, and it has over a 4-star average review from 14 people, and only one 1-star review (no 2s). The real bad review was talking about hanging a bike, which seems like a total waste of this system (get a ceiling hoist and save room).

If you ship to the exact address given and it shows as delivered you are off the hook for item not received cases.

I think a few people had used it to hold a bike. Some bikes aren't that heavy so it kinda made me wonder. However, it might just be a user error on the install bc they might not have distributed the load correctly when screwing the tracks into the studs

Not your problem as long as u have a tracking number. I think PayPal will side with u.
