Managers have always just given me the "we aren't supposed to let you leave with these" line. This one was just rude off the bat

Paypal or CreditCard? Paypal is good in the regards of proving delivery then they will side with the shipper. Creditcards on the other hand, not so much. We won a charge back on buyer claiming they did not get item, tracking proved they did. A week later they did a charge back on defective item not working, they eventually won and kept item. We offered to replace the item. People ****, credit card companies ****.

I mean, I look at it this way. So far I haven't had a problem, but if that happened to me and the value was equal to or more than a plane ticket... I have your name and address..

My only problem is UPS, 1. lost a package, 2. shipped different package to Honalulu, 3. shipped a 500 dollar printer and they damaged the **** out of it. I can't win. :lol_hitti

Pennies. Sku: 317467

Got these paid for and grabbed receipt and SCO lady stopped me. Let her call the manager who came over and told me I couldn't leave because it's still his product. Eventually let me leave.

NOT finding any kind of lights with that SKU ??

What is it ?? Sure that sku is correct ?? :dunno:

I saw these awhile back at the .03 with all the other Hampton bay lights they were clearing out. And yes that's the sku. Just tried uploading pic of the tag but won't work right now.

Interesting day yesterday while making a drive from the Bay Area back to Sacramento.

Found a Paslode Finish Nailer in a box that had the SKU for the Framing Nailer sharpied on it. Asked someone to get it down and the tool manager came over, looked it up, and said they couldn't sell it. At that point I still thought it was the Framing nailer, and I was OK paying the $100 last clearance price since I couldn't have gotten it down myself anyways. He talked to the manager and offered it to me on a generic SKU at $100.66. Later found out it was the finish nailer, which is good because I never managed to find one of those on clearance.

I'm also trying to buy up as many more Husky cabinets as I can, and found some displays at another store, including the 32" tall cabinet, which isn't stocked at many locations around here. Checked the system, and they weren't found - so penny. Asked if I could buy/have them, and was told "NO". Asked to talk to the manager and the flooring guy finally came back and said they would sell them to me on a generic SKU for $50.66 each - so a little under on the tall cabinet and a little over on the base and wall cabinets, about $15 over last clearance price overall. But again, these are displays and I know even corporate policy is that it is the store's discretion to sell them. Still a good deal anyways.

Next. Found a store with the Fusion shed sitting on the shelf with the $250.03 price tag. BUT, the box had sharpies on it that it was missing two panels. No big deal, Keter will send replacements. So I find the garden guy and ask him about it, he offers another $100 off. I ask for 50% off and he says ok. And then he says, that their forklift is broken so they won't be able to get it down for a few days. Unfortunately, I'm rarely in the bay, so that one is still on the shelf at the San Leandro Home Depot. I did score 1 Husky jack at this store for $18.02. They had one more, but I left it for the tool guy after he saw the price.

Last top in Emeryville and I see 3 Paslode framing nailers. grab the yellow ladder and bring them down and head to SCO. Price check gives me .01, click add to transaction, "See Attendent" pops up. He comes over and takes one of the nailers and says he needs to "find the right sky" and "that's not the right price". I tell him it is, but wait patiently as he talks to the tool manager. They try to tell em corporate policy is that they can not sell for a penny, I tell them it's the opposite. The "supervisor" comes over and says there is no way I am leaving with them for a penny, so I tell him that I'm just going to give customer care a quick call and that I would like to talk to the MOD. He calls the MOD who says I can have them for half of the last clearance price, so $50.66 (a lot of generic SKUs thrown around on this trip). I say, thanks, but why would I waste $150? After 10 minutes on the phone with Customer Care the manager comes over and tells me I can have them - "Corporate Policy" he tells the supervisor. Then they both just walk off, no apology, nothing. But, I did score $1200 worth of nailers for $.03 (although one was a return missing the battery).

Also found one of those Steam Mops at another store, but not as exciting.

Not sure if its just my store or not but they seem to be changing up the clearance stuff. Prices are mostly ending in zero or 4. Couldn't hardly find anything 6 or 3. Plus the prices are dropping hardly at all. Sometimes only 5-10 cents. Been noticing this for a few weeks now but thought it was just an aberration. Might be nothing though. Just a coincidence or something.

Its funny, my store has "Clearance" end caps, but the best clearance deals are else where in the store. Don't rely on them to just hand the good deals over on a silver platter.

I check the store weekly so im pretty sure I know it well. Yes there are deals to he had but the general trend seems to be going that way. And instead of taking lots of individual items I did the shots with the majority of pricing. I was just trying to give a general heads up as in something to look out for. If its just a coincidence or my store ignore it.

Had a bad experience and found this by accident, store would not sell me the power washer attachment for a penny, had to call corporate and they told me they where wrong and that's not policy. Luckily corporate called store manager and told them they have to sell it so I was lucky enough. Wonder how many people were told bs that they are not aloud to sell penny items, even if there on shelf? Was pretty annoyed by the way they handled it. Especially because he goes were going to dispose of this, like wtf why can't I just buy it. Anyway it all worked out in the end.

I was told the other day by one of the floor guys that I wasn't allowed to buy penny items! I was nice and just told him I wasn't interested in them that I was looking up prices on power tools!

There are still two Rustoleum floor coating kits at the West Plano Tx store. They are in the clearance section on the bottom shelf behind some foam T-style pipe covers. I didn't see a price, but a few weeks ago they were marked $10.

My store is like that too, I think only one or two things ended in a 6 or 3 for the entire clearance section, and I've never found any penny deals at mine. I'll go to the one north of me sometime and check them out, but I won't get my hopes up either.

I'm pretty sure their all filled with junk. Your not going to find anything of value and usually never any penny items. I mean I your looking for a hose connection protector or those connected light bulbs for near full price then your in luck.

Sounds like some people are getting the "generic sku" bs. I've told them a few times I can't possibly buy something with a generic sku. There's no proof I've bought that specific item, so I can't return it and I can't get a warranty on it. That seems to confuse them for the most part.

In this case could you just not give them your ID and they still go through with the return

Yea wasn't thinking clearly at the time, just wanted the transaction done so I could gtfo!

Do not buy this saw. Not only you loose out on the light you also loose out the depth cutting capacity. This is a 12" but works like 10" because of the limitation of the cut is 4.5" - see the specs. It does not have a depth stop too. You are better off buying a craftsman/harbor freight miter. If it goes below $150 I might consider but for this price not worth it. Get the DWS779 if you are ok with the missing light.

Wow didn't realize Dewalt gimped this saw that much, might as well buy a 10" slider if that's the case, but it'll do til I find a better deal on a nicer saw. I wouldn't buy the HF saw after seeing this vid, might not be a dealbreaker for some but is for me, skip to 1:40 in the vid.

Are any of u guys going to actually use the rust oleum kits for ur garages? I have 4 of the 2.5 car kits and 4 of the clear coat kits, but I'm thinking about going with armorseal for more durability.

Not sure if it is worth reselling.

Checked 3 stores on the drive home today. None had the kiosk where I could price check.

Total disaster

I got denied three, apparently reconditioned ones are sold under a different sku although this sku was nowhere to be found on the items but they had recon paperwork attached. I'm sure they went home with someone at the store.

Anyone have sku's for paver stones / brick pavers they haven't posted here? I have a couple I'm going to look for but more wouldn't hurt. Got a walk way to redo at a rental house.
