Anybody ever been. Using PCA and all of a sudden it stops working. It would allow me to search and bring up pages but it wouldn't let me click it to open anything up. It would twirl like it was working then just stop...Just wondering if it was something they did. I had been using pc for about 20 minutes..which I usually try to get on and off to bring less attention to myself.

Close out the app and launch it again. It's not the smoothest running app out there that's for sure.

Yea no biggie happens all the time. Just give it a minute or two to sort itself out and if it keeps doing it restart the whole program and open the app again.

Keter shed went penny status today and magically gone by the middle of the day. The rate at which items disappear around here makes me thinks employees have friends family snagging stuff up.

Tried something new today. Most stores pennied out the 1-1/2 ton jacks one still had a few stashed away up top but at $18. Had an employee pull them down then changed my mind and put them on the shelf. This way when the penny out maybe they will be in easy reach.

Or they are just doing their jobs and getting them off the floor when they penny out?

2 hours looking for Brick pavers and other misc stuff today and NOTHING! Found a Penny Christmas tree but I REALLY need some brick pavers.... You guys have me so spoiled I hate to buy ANYTHING thats not at least on clearance.

BTW Does 230392 Mean anything to anyone? I spotted up at the very top of the outdoor over head. Cant tell what it (doesn't look to like pavers) but it doesn't pull up on PCA either so I imagine its a penny.

Interesting first post, just come over from slickdeals or something? With the amount they miss they certainly don't do their jobs. I can typically always find a penny deal by walking through the local stores. The big dollar items though seem to disappear at the exact moment they penny out no matter how hidden or out of place they are.

Anything to contribute to the thread or just here to leach?

Went into my local home depot last night and for the life of me couldn't find any "secluded" PC to work at without getting asked a ton of questions or interrupted. The only place then had them was in the carpeting section, 3 in a row set up like work desks.

You'd be forgiven for thinking you couldn't use them as they really did look like a little office. Kind of like how they are at the paint section, etc. So I sit down and start working on it. Looking for blinds... LOL.

Switched over to the price check app and have to say that it's quite a POS to use. Just an FYI, you can type anything into the search bar even though the instructions below it tell you to enter a UPC/SKU/etc. Took a while to figure that out.

After I did, all of the items I ended up searching for showed 0 on hand for my local and other close by stores. The only thing one of them had was a few of the clearance garage cabinets, but nothing worth walking around for.

I'm going to have to subscribe to this thread to start getting in on the deals early.

Hmm that's weird. Was it an HD sticker sku, or the HD sku on the Schlage label?

They may have tied the UPC number to a new model SKU. Look up the UPC number in the computer and see what comes up. It may pull up a different SKU for a different lock, meaning they tied it to the newer model.. same as they did for a lot of the old blue Ryobi tools, tying them to the new green models

i think they did this with husky bucket jockeys...
i dont know much about hd dates, but i saw a few boxes in overhead of husky portable storage stuff; skus were same as old so i figured 'jackpot' but there was an end of december date handwritten on the box and crossed out with an early feb date written next to it

Husky cabinets seem to be on sale. Anyone see a sale price on the 72" H x 36" W cabinets?

to be 100% honest they are barely worth buying at a Penny,

They come with terrible assembly instructions (install bolt, then later have to remove it to install next panel) and are flimsy. I bought the 48" wall cab at $45.03 or something around there and almost threw it out half way into the assembly.

NOT finding any kind of lights with that SKU ??

What is it ?? Sure that sku is correct ?? :dunno:

I posted a receipt of these a few weeks ago, great lights. They look awesome! It's the right sku, there's 2 different boxes with the same lights I have seen though.

Long time lurker but I did come from SD about 11 month ago. Much more active forum here. I am pretty bad at finding new deals that are not listed here but I did find one this morning! The Husky LED flood light mentioned earlier is now down to $7.52 SKU# 1001330554 I have seen them at several stores in the light section in red cardboard floor displays.

Now that I think about it the Vissani Wine coolers mentioned a long time ago were always full price by me but they seem to be removed from the computers in the few stores I have looked at recently. So maybe keep an eye out for those.

I just bought a Husky 2 Door Base Cabinet and very much agree about the construction and instructions. I also questioned why I'd spent $40 on it, but if the tall cabinets came down to the $30-$40 range I think I'd be able to contain my rage at least one more time to have a taller cabinet with doors for the garage. Even leave me some monies to reinforce the sides with some 1/2" plywood once I got the shelves set.

Has anyone encountered this before, I was at a store and bought a large display item but I wasnt driving my truck so I had them do a will call purchase. A week later I went to pick it up and when loading it in my truck i noticed damage to the item that wasnt there when I bought it the week prior. Not to mention it looks like they stored it in their outdoor receiving area and it was rained on. I went back in and told them what I discovered and they said it was already heavily discounted and it was the display there was nothing they could do. I find it hard to believe that they can damage something I have already paid for, not tell me about it, store it outside when it is clearly an indoor item, and then not offer some sort of apology or compensation. Instead I get a big FU go kick rocks, not literally but that is what it feels like.

Was this just an employee that told you to go pound dirt? If so, ask for the store manager (THE store manager, not a manager-on-duty). You can look up the manager's name on the HD website (desktop site).

If you get the same response from the manager, then call corporate.

Employee and then MOD. The store is over an hour away so I just sent a quick email to see what they say.

It was 1 of the 52in Gladiator tool chest. Unfortunately it was not $99 like others have reported on here. It was $200.03

Seems they changed the pricing schedule in the middle of the drop. It went from $799 to $599 to $399 now its $200.03 really wish they stuck with the rest of the country and dropped to $99 oh well still a good deal if they didnt put a softball sized dent in it.

Was full price in NJ, .01 MD/DE guess NJ is on a different schedule.

This was Marple PA, which is an early drop store for this area and they are pretty good on tags. I usually use this store to predict what the other stores might do moving forward. Jersey is a little slower.

I need to find a store district map, maybe the store numbers would indicate that, but I only know a few stores on the same schedules and the rest seem to be random.

odd thing i found out today, price drops come through on sunday to the stores, But until the person who does the price drop accepts the download the price wont drop in the computer, spent a few minutes talking with the guy about the markdowns he assured me id never find a penny item in his store, 5 minutes later i walled out with one. The had the Moen stuff but the Benton 528925 was only down to 55.00 not penny status like the other stores

I've seen a few HDs with the security system at that price in stock on the PCA but they've all mysteriously disappeared.
