So either there's a ton of us, or the stores in Knoxville TN keep their shelves free of penny and clearance items. Was driving through yesterday and hit about 8 stores, only found one penny item and nothing worth buying on clearance in stock. Gonna be in north florida the next couple of days. Any of ya'll live in Jacksonville or Daytona?

Saw these myself today in PCA.Didn't check em though and can't remember how much they were. Did have a decent day though.. Scored 3 Toro trimmer heads for $33.03. As usual up high in rafters. Also scored some Husky bucket jockeys..Didn't need em but for $.90 why not. Also saw this water heater while doing usual checking..Great deal. Wish I needed it.

My water heater sprang a leak today, so I stopped in at the nearest Home Depot and looked for clearance water heaters in the price check app. Lots of them for around $100, but very hard to find. The first 2 stores showed stock but no home, and I walked every aisle looking for them. The 3rd store had 2 Rheem electric water heaters with wifi. Both were without the box and slightly dented but $137 is better than $599. Took it home and it works fine. I have not hooked up to my network yet, but I like the digital display on the front.

If you are in the DC area and need an electric water heater pm me.

Yep I would take a dented water heater for 137 bucks :) It's not like you look at it every day and it effects it's use same thing with a washer or dryer with a dent or scratch on the side.

Found two more Dewalt pancakes. And a few framing Passloads but with a generic sku saying they were reconditioned. Also found the ridgid on the computer. Haven't seen one in a store in months. They were still $79 then.

I've seen a few with generic skus saying they were reconditioned too. It's interesting to me that the managers are doing this since this is a huge fraud issue.

So what ever happened? Ya think he got them and is out selling them, or it didn't work?
And for those of you that are unsure of offloadability, you can always recoup your money and clear a smidgen by pawning it =/ ya, it cuts profit, but it's pre purchase insurance.

I think we must be hitting the same stores in the Knoxville area. Not that much to get, just a few rigid cords and a paslode over the past month.

thought those were the $99 ones..

yea they are 229 online nice price if its 99 bucks its 42 lbs heavy for shipping 30 to 40 to ship. not much room for profit. Unless you put them on craigslist, that is if you payed 99 for them. :dunno:

I was just driving through, but I hit most of them and pretty much no luck. They're on top of their inventory there that's for sure.

They're on clearance but only at 96.00. I took a gamble to see if they're gonna drop soon as I suspect they might.

Plus I wanted to see how quiet it was. It's not THAT quiet, but it's quieter. I'll probably take the one back I intended to use and get a husky one when I have time.

Do tell about the Husky one!

Last I checked there are a bunch around me and I was interested in just how much quieter they are than the Ridgid vertical pancake I have now.

So you think the $99 Husky one is a better buy? Trying to decide which one I should keep....

I haven't heard the husky one, but I'm told their quite quiet. I wasn't that impressed on the dewalt one, it seemed like any other hot dog I've owned and it was quiet-ish but, if I had to take a guess anything California air would be quieter. If even by a marginal amount. Im not even sure there's a difference but I'm willing to take the risk and try it. I was going to buy a California one anyway, just a matter of time.

Thanks. My local store has two Husky ones left so I may pick one up and then decide between that and the DeWalt. or event the 6 gallon DeWalt.

Well the eBay buyer who claimed he never got the Nutone fan that showed delivered to his "parcel locker" opened a claim today. Within a few minutes, eBay closed the case in my favor. pheww..

It was only a $30 fan, but I don't need the headache..

I've looked everywhere for them damn coolers. No stores have them in my end of FL. I looked when I was down south this past week.
I did find and buy a 35qt on a warehouse deal the other day though.

Was down in the Keys this past weekend. None on sale though.

Dang swoyer, thought you hit the jackpot.

Fortunately that eBay trailer park debate is over. Hopefully dude learns his lesson and locally sources a fart fan. And I'd say you got lucky with eBay siding with you, but may not be so easy next time? Not that I'm saying you'd sent someone to go snag it back, haha that would be a good scam, but they may have a one time accommodation kinda rule

This was my first time down at this store as I was in the Keys fishing so I thought I'd drop in while in the area. Out of my "local" stores between south Miami and the Keys I have only seen the coolers in 1 store which was the one I bought mine from.

The quality on the coolers looks great. If I can find some more on sale I will buy them also.

Those coolers seem to be Pelicans answer to the Yeti coolers. I'd pick them up in a heartbeat for half off if I ever saw any.

Yeti's are great don't get me wrong. But when I can score a BIGGER, CHEAPER Pelican I will do it every single time!

I will be on the lookout for more of the coolers because at half price it's a great deal! I am also on the hunt for the Toro Electric Blowers I posted I sold all mine the same day I purchased them.

I just bought the Husky yesterday. It's quieter than you probably imagine, I turned it on and had a conversation at normal talking volume while both of us were close enough to have a hand on the compressor, literally, I had it on a bench at chest level(and my hand was on it, all they had to do was reach out).

What's the SKU on it. I wouldn't mind picking up as personal compressor.

I know we got alot of ebay sellers in here, but does anybody sell at their local flea markets and swap o ramas? Was just curious..I try a little bit of everything but, find especially with heavy items shipping is always the issue for people.Power tools tend to do extremely well though. And craigslist is getting to the point of hating it..Just too many freaking tire kickers and scammers.

Ive wondered this, but always been scared of wasting a day with people who want to bargain all day.

I have the Ryobi vertical pancake along with the Husky silent next to each other in my garage and the difference is night and day. After hearing the deafening ryobi air up for 2 min, I can barely hear anything coming from the Husky at all. You can talk to someone standing right over the compressor without straining. I'm trying to sell the Ryobi (that I got on clearance with the 3 nailers) so I can pair them up with the Husky instead. No brainer if you're a DIY or a pro.

Depending on what you take there you can do ok.Tools tend to do well from what I've seen when I go. But most definitely they are full of people looking for the ULTIMATE bargains..Guess also depends on the profit you like to make on your items.

I don't but have gone shopping at some local flea markets.. And judging by customers idea of a deal is to offer $10 for a $100 marked item.. It's almost as bad as garage sale. Atleast Craigslist is weeding out the flakers.. Ebay is ever increasing fees.. And too many scams. With PayPal being the biggest crook.
