Either not looking hard enough, someone else has beaten you to the party or your area is just on their game. Usually, it's late to the party. It's not easy to find this stuff, generally, timing is everything depending on your area.

Ya, I am just frustrated really.

I just need to add to my tool arsenal for a little discount since I cant afford to buy nice ones.

I recently showed my Father how to use the app at Home Depot here in Atlanta during a holiday visit. Being from southern MS, he checked a few HD's in MS and they went nuts. They kept asking if he worked for HD Corporate, he simply responded "if you keep interrupting me while I check inventory, I will gladly make a report to regional". lol, they freaked and left.
If this was ones in Gulfport and Biloxi he might be wasting time. My father and brother live down there and find a 03 deal every once in a blue moon. I thought I didn't teach them well enough, but everytime I visit I can't find anything. Now go to New Orleans is a different story.

Having a rough day..just was told by another manager that I'm not allowed to check clearance prices..Walked by while I was checking.Associate said it was okay but wasn't serious enough to throw her under the bus. Oh well, one more stop at store that gave me 5 Ridgid compressors 2 weeks ago. Let's see how this goes..

I don't understand managers saying it's not ok, the price check program is under the "public" section on the computer!

2nd question and the deal i have not seen posted:

there is another ridgid generator cord that has another wire for a control panel of some sort... its marked down to $9ish in my local. http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-25-ft-Generator-Extension-Cord-RDEC25/100676306

but the question is does anyone know if that cord can only be used for a ridgid generator or is somethin like that a universal plug on there in that it can be used on other brands generators/control panels?

Somebody asked that exact question in the link to the product that you yourself posted. It was answered by someone from Ridgid, and the answer is that it is not compatible with other brands.

I just found a cart full of about 15 Schlage front door locks sitting in the aisle. I scanned one at SCO and it was a penny. So I pushed the cart to SCO, scanned and paid for 9 of them, before an employee told me they couldn't sell them. I left with the 9 that I had already purchased, lol. Hopefully the employee who left the cart there won't get in too much trouble

Picked up some deck furniture yesterday and while I was waiting I was checking some things out on the price check app. Found these hole saws on clearance but non in stock. Nobody said a word to me while I was on the computer. It faces the public so I'm assuming it's a public computer haha.

those hole saw kits are very nice. picked mine up when they were $32?? anyway, even if it says zero, double check to see if there's one hiding behind the 13 piece sets. Same size case. That's how I found mine.

Same here, and it was less than 90 days ago.....wonder if I could swing a price adjust.

Very well could be that they want to save the deals for themselves. And like anything else some stores are just going to make their own rules up. Luckily there's enough stores that you can just leave or whatever.

Did have better luck at the store that I just went into. I found my first penny deal. Well first in a long time anyway. It was the Echo 4-gallon Backpack sprayer. Only thing is when I went to pay for it it alerted the cashier and made a ton of noise. Of course they didn't want to sell it. And since this has become one of my favorite stores for deals I decided to try to just work out something with them. And they gave it to me for 10 bucks so not too bad. Just didn't feel it was worth it to call corporate and go through all of that for that sprayer. Plus I was pressed for time to and $10 for $100 sprayer isn't too bad.

Thats probably the first set of yellow stairs Ive ever seen actually labelled for customer use.

But I think some/most stores know they are for customer use as well....I just pushed one over two aisles and climbed up to get something out of first level overhead, right in front of a HD employee (who didn;t offer to help, but thats OK, it was a penny item :) )

Why are people acting stupid and calling Corp if a HD employee asks them to get off the computer? Is it that hard to say, oh ok no problem? Move on and use another computer in back or go to another store or come back another time?

if policy is ok for you to use them and they are kicking you off, they are ignorant. you cant tell the monkey what to do, you have to notify the zoo keeper.

ive never made a call to corporate, i could see in cases it could be needed. idk......

Missed out on a couple of Dewalt compressors today. Was at one store looking through the price check app and saw another store showed 1. Just looked around and ended up buying a couple of the Lithonia led lights for my garage. Made it over to the other store and could not find the compressor isle. Asked and was told they were behind self checkout. I walk up and see a guy with 2 on a cart in the self checkout. Just missed them! :(

Blasphemy!

I picked up (2) of the $45 ones last week but it looks like that was it! Checked every other store in the area and none to be had. There are a few of the other $99 ones around. There were 4 in the area yesterday but only 2 today. May jump on them this weekend before they disappear.

If you are talking about the California Air Tool Compressor Clones, you don't want to miss them....I Smile Every Time I Turn Mine On.

Actually, there 3 of those AND 3 of the $99 Dewalt ones. So I should definitely jump on the Husky Silent Slow Model # 4610A for personal use?

If the CFM output will work for you...YES
Buy 1 and check it out for yourself....You have 90 days to decide whether to keep it.
I bought 3 and I will be keeping 2 of them

I had and sold 3 of the Dewalt Quiet compressors, they were nice but the Husky's are just nicer.

Which one would you recommend for light home use? Crown, trim, etc.

Not sure who this is directed to since I didn't see anyone say they called corporate about being asked to get off a computer. I actually totally agree with everything you said..Even though I found a penny item today I don't actually hunt them to avoid the drama possibly..I like to fly under the radar if that's possible. Could have called corporate over the Echo sprayer but got it for $10 so was satisfied. And no bad blood at the that store since it's become one of favorites,I'll be welcome back.

^^^^just a general coment. It seems everyone wants to call about everything. Everything works better being discrete.

I honestly wonder if ANY call to corporate has given HD a kick in the a$$ about better inventory controls and is leading to all the MET people we see around the stores lately.

From the stupid "they wont let me have a wire cuff for a penny" to the serious "the loss prevention guy just tried to rough me up"....I think we've become our own worst enemies and we're now seeing the beginning of the end of a really fun era.

Except SPN for some odd reason....I think he owns a store or something.

Over the past few months I've became quote the Schlage connoisseur but until today, I had NEVER seen a yellow Clearance tag on any Schlage item. Today I stumbled upon 5 different keyless touchpads all with Clearance stickers. I was pretty excited until I realized that they were all a staggering $7 of the original price. :D

from the comparisons it seemed that the 2.5 DW had better specs...but I also don't know much about them.
