Nice. I haven't seen 1 on my travels. Someone has pillaged the Philadelphia region. I haven't had a lot of luck selling the bigger stuff so it's whatever, hopefully people use it for what they need.

Where did it come from boxed like that? Only found two husky hangers for a penny each.

An employee gets some HD boxes that they sell and boxes the items and tags it with a sku of whats inside. I have seen 1 store that does this but not nearly as organized and clean as that.

Reviews are decent at best on those, but I bet they would be a super easy flip!

I thought so too, I have 3 I have been sitting on for 5 days now. A lot of foot traffic but no sales.

On another note, has anybody come across the Seek Thermal Camera's for Andriods? I found a stash marked down to $125.06 from $250.00. Seem to be selling well on eBay lately.

Actually funny you mention those..while I was scoring some more $10 vacuums,I saw those. Store I'm at has 2 or possibly 3. Sawthe .06 ending and figured they would have another drop coming. About to check now to see if I should grab one before I drive off:)

God I wish menards would do another 11% rebate!!

Saw a huge MET team hard at work in the Providence RI store today, had to be at least 15 of them, some in plain clothes others in orange shirts.

my store didn't have any obvious penny items worth anything. spent all the time i wanted on the computer. switching back and forth between hd's website looking for milwaukee tools and the pca app. went through about 8 pages of penny items which was all christmas and halloween stuff. there was more pages but i was on a time crunch. no compressors, no nutones, no wrenches, no screwdrivers, no nothing. There was one lincoln electric welder display model for a penny. It was gone.

They still have those out there? Thought they were discontinued long ago. Would love to add some cheap hooks to my gearwalls.

Yeah I wished I had bought some of the husky hooks and all that. Came back to the store and they already took everything down!

Took four to find a quiet one.

If the 4th didn't work I was done.

On the 3 that have a noise I wouldn't call it a rattle.it is more like a motor induced noise. Imagine a refrigerator compressor pump going bad...Waaaah Waaaah Waaaah Waaaah noise. I checked all the connections, put pressure in different places nothing fixed it except lifting two of the up the third is just always loud.

Good luck to the rest getting them.

At least you got one!

I was going to use the Husky to replace my Ridgid vertical pancake portable but I might keep both just in case. Heck I could just leave one outside permanently for tires and such and use the other for nailers inside.

Can i use the 20% off coupon(harbor freight) on husky silent compresor ?

Enviado desde mi Che2-L23 mediante Tapatalk

I bought a 4 piece DeWalt set of tools (Drill, Driver, Light, Sawzaw) years ago from HD on sale and used the HF coupon match. Took me a few tries, but finally got some kid to do it.

Probably the greatest day of my life.

When Harbor Freight had just moved in near one of our local Home Depots, I was able to use the 20% off coupon on a Ridgid generator. It was the biggest portable they made (8Kw continuous) so the 20% coupon saved me something like $240.00!

I got fooled by this one, it is not a real item. Just a tin display of the actual welder. A couple of my stores still have the tin display, I was joking about buying one when I had an employee tell me that it wasn't for sale. Wonder why they have them in the PCA.

There are lots of penny priced display things in the PCA (especially ceiling fans and lighting).

Im guessing it is an attempt to make the "we cant sell the display" thing an actual truth.....we should never be able to get penny priced items out of the store, right? ;)

found another dewalt pancake today. rest of the stuff seems to be cleared out on these stores though, the floor mate deluxe people are finding for $40 is still $129 here. plenty of the husky compressors in the rafters of each store, not one on the sales floor though so hope they drop soon.

Deptford and Sicklerville off 42 had the dewalt compressors... I only bought 2 of them seem to be the last one at each store. So some one else is clearing them out. Deptford had 3 before the price drop but was down to 1 when I got there last week. Berlin, cherry hill and lawnside didn't have any on hand in the app or any that I could find in the rafters. I pretty much stick to tools so I don't look for too much stuff in the app, wanted to pick one of those floormates up though. All the stores have it listed at 129 here and someone cleaned out the steam mops. Sicklerville showed -4 on hand for those.

Just back from another hunt at my local HD. Overnight they have rearranged a number of sections. With inventory going on very ********, I am not holding my breath right now. They have also turned my regular computer around to fact the CS desk. I went to kitchens and hunted there for a bit. Someone did ask about me being on the computer and I said someone in electric said I could use it. No more bothering from them. Many of the things that came up as pennies I could not find in the store. I will have to wait and see what the stricter of the area stores is looking like.

I am still thinking about going to get them, trying to hold off though. Also nothing worth while down here anymore I think all the stores have been cleaned out for the most part. Waiting for the next round!

I was going to buy a new buy a plug in circular saw and the skil magnesium sidewinder just dropped to $99 at some locations over in jersey. The worm drive I was looking for was 100 but can't seem to find it but full price. Anyone running either of these saws?

The worm drive version went on clearance a couple months ago in Dallas. It slowly dropped $10 to $20 each month or so until it got to $140 and everyone bought them out. No more left except the stores that never put them on clearance. Still $199 at those. Sadly I was waiting for the next drop and missed it at all the stores by probably just a couple days.

Hoovers are worth it. I sold all pretty much in 2 days or so. Didn't make a killing but did double my money. Which usually is the goal. Unless it's an item with big profit in it. Gotta feeling Husky compressors will be bought up before hittin that .03 drop. At that point, they would easily make a VERY nice profit.

On another note, just curious what the most expensive item is someone scored? Excluding the shed...has anybody ever did a riding mower or something crazy like that?

Scored my first penny item today the husky digital tire gauge i got three of them! I got a couple back when they were $2.02 so i knew they would be going penny soon so when i saw them on the shelf with the 9.00 clearance price still on them i knew they were going to be a penny! Now i am on the hunt for more penny deal. I thought it would be impossible to get a penny item in Minnesota i guess i was wrong!

I planned on flipping these when they hit .03 but after hearing all the folks talk about the units rattling, I may not do it. Sure as hell don't want to sell them on CL and then have people calling back complaining about the rattle and wanting their money back.
