i was at a store that had a bunch of those and i actually found them. i only got 1, but they are actually a lot nicer and beefier than the standard husky pliers, which i would say are a bit mediocre.
I should have grabbed more. if anyone wants to trade something I could grab like 10 sets still i would guess. Im in need of one of those temp2o shower heads. PM me if interested

Do you guys find prices change in PCA on a certain day off the week? Or does it vary?

in my area it seems to vary by the 'district'.. one district drops on wednesday, the other does thursday. i have found a couple special deal products (ie black friday/holiday) that are independent of that and drop a bit more randomly

Grabbed a $69 Lincoln welding cart. They're the same price on the website. It was either that or the $50 Blue Hawk one at Lowes. I figured this would be at least 10 times more rugged.

$25 is still not an awesome deal for that backpack, IMO. the quality seems a bit medicore and $25 is more of a 'good deal if you need it now' price

Still selling for decent profit on ebay though. Wait to long and they will be gone.

Just saw the aqua winder hose reel at Costco for 70 bucks. Home Depot still had the better buy at .01

Have you used it yet? I bought it from Costco a few years ago and it's turned into an annoying pos. Honestly would think twice about buying one for a penny!

I actually just gave one to a guy at work that wanted one and I'll sell the other one for like 50 or whatever. I'm pretty conventional. I did buy a couple aquor connectors.

Did you put it together yet? Seem sturdy or flimsy? Decent size for 80 cu ft tank?

I saw one at my local HD for $69. Was thinking about buying it but also thinking of building one for my welder. But if the quality is decent probably cheaper to buy one.

^ Now you tell me. I'll go unbox one and see if that fixes it. If they only had one I guess I would have tried to narrow it down and find the noise but if they charged 199.00 for it as common as the noise is they should have noticed it in the design and fixed it.

I didn't pay attention to build dates but they were all built crappy, all the black frames were chipped scratched and rusting already.
Just to follow up.... Under the cover for the capacitor there is already some double sided foam tape. Not sure if it's just not enough or if the cap wasnt secured to it.

I put a wallplate sealing gasket under the cap itself, stuck the cap back to the cover and reinstalled the cover. Now the first unit with the rattle no longer rattle and might even be a little quieter than the second unit

Yeah, the one I had with the rattle noise actually sounded like the motor was quieter than the one that had no noise.

It must be in my head or how they were next to each other and the noise was bouncing off the other one. Hard to tell.

Did you have any luck finding any of the other compressors?

Might take a few days before I get around to it

I don't know how they let Yu do all that penny action and watch.. Out here in West coast, Yu would have been stopped on first ones and start their own penny drama events... Happens all the time.. Penny deals are hard out here and have to fight for it.

I've been to a few stores whose quantity said at least one, I think I am developing a neck strain lol no luck either. One store it said they had 8. Nothing found, after walking all over the store. Although, my calorie count kept breaking records on my Apple Watch, I guess at least I am
Getting some exercise lol

Not sure if these are them...and how I can get it down. It's in the main center aisle.
Just ask someone to bring it down.. No big deal as it's not penny item.. They should bring it down a display sell to Yu, no problem.
But looks like sku is crossed out and written another sku.. Only way to find out is bring it down and check... I had tool guy bring it down, he told me great deal... Register cashed out, csr asked me if any left, might want one for her husband.

So I had the cops called on me today. Not sure if that's a GJ first or not. Had a pallet in the overhead with 3 dewalt pancakes among other things wrapped up together. Got the pallet down and grabbed the compressors and two mitre saws. Myself and a friend took them to self check out. He kept the attendant busy with the saws while I tried to scan one compressor three times, but once I rang it up a second time the "please see attendant" sign popped up. I walked to a different SCO kiosk and the same thing happened again. First time that has happened trying to ring up multiple penny items. So at this point the SCO saw that and tried to charge me last clearance price. I asked for the manager.

I was waiting for at least ten minutes for him to show up so I said screw it and rang up each compressor individually and paid for them and had my receipt in hand. After I paid for the second one the two attendants were telling me they couldn't sell it at that price, no clue why they didn't freeze the transaction so I continued. One lady tried to physically grab the compressor out of my hand while I was placing it on the cart and grabbed one off the flat cart and tossed it on the floor. At this time the manager shows up and immediately tells me he can't sell them to me at a penny and we go through that whole argument. Meanwhile the lady is threatening to call the cops and telling me I'm committing fraud. So I tell them to call the police and that I'll wait for them to show up.

Cop shows up and talks to the manager for a minute outside of the door. I walk up and the cop asks to talk inside. So he takes me to an empty room in the back and questions me. Says he doesn't really know what to do in this situation and had a second officer show up. They tell me I'm being detained while they get to the bottom of what has happened and what to do. Finally the second cop comes back from talking to the manager or whoever and says management said to let me go with the compressors and the saw I paid for. Didn't run into the manager or the lady on the way out so didn't hear anything else from them.

Not trying to take it that far. As absurd as the situation was I'm not trying to ruin anyone's livelihood. But still in shock that the cops were actually involved in the situation today.

Actually not surprised it went this far..At some point penny deals will end. Not blaming you, but this is the reason why I don't actively hunt for penny deals at all. And when I found the one, just negotiated a "fair" price and kept it moving. So many good to great deals to be had, just don't see the possible aggravation worth it. If you find a store where penny deals are okay, then so be it. It's just too much potential hassle, especially where last clearance price is usually pretty damn cheap.

One other thing to consider, I know some say corporate has backed them up on these penny deals when called. But there has been reports where corporate has said it is the managers discretion...which leads me to believe that no, we AREN'T entitled to penny deals really..Anyhow big congrats on the score!!

I went to 2 stores today that were about an hour away because they each showed the rustoleum epoxy in stock for a penny. First one showed 2 and couldn't find them. Looked up on the app again and the other store showed 4 so i left and went there.

Looked it up on their computer and it showed 5 in stock but no location. Looked forever and never found them. Asked the lady in customer service to see if she could find a location and all she did was look online and day oh it doesn't look like we carry that and told me to go ask the paint guy.

What a waste of time.

Yeah I get what you're saying and I was planning on taking last clearance price on the compressors but the manager took so long and I saw my chance to ring them up and took it. Understand why they got pissed but just think they took things too far.

So did you go any items or your money back? If the saws were 259 then what was the problem?

The saw wasn't the problem. I was expecting to pay that much and I did. The problem was the compressors were a penny and I got them paid for and then the whole fiasco happened.
