I've had about 10 stores now where there's been 10-16 of a small item like the picks or drill bit sets or box cutters in stock on the PCA with no home. Of course after searching everywhere they still don't turn up.

You sob. I've been looking everywhere for those. Four stores with a box full that I can't find

What are the wrench sets going for and those small pick sets on the right? Penny?
They were in two separate open display boxes along with the precision screwdrivers, overhead hardware. 1.82 for the picks 5.02 for the wrenches. At 1.82 better than the hft picks. Pca 0 on had for both just got lucky.

Been slacking lately. Think I kind of burned myself out over the past 2 months. Hit up a few stores yesterday and today. Mostly looking for bigger ticket items like compressors, faucets, keypad door locks, etc. Didn't find squat. Picked up a few of the the Canary Security cameras at the $98.06 price Saturday but returned them today and will wait for them to hit the .03 price or even penny out. Looked up those rolling Husky totes in the PCA and they are still full price here. Found a few stores with some of the $90 Dewalt silent compressors in the PCA but could not find them. Continuing to keep an eye on the 6 Husky silent compressors. HD obviously has no desire to sell them as they are all still up in the overhead with no price or anything on them.

Scored good this weekend, especially today. Had a cart full of stuff, had the sco lady scan all my pennies, she seamed very excited that I got them and that if that would of happened when she first started, she would of gotten fired for letting them go through.

Those are the wireless, connect to your phone sockets, I can't think of the name of them, but you need a wink hub to use any of them. I can get some more info later

So I'm fairly new to this game. I have picked up a few HD penny deals and made a few bucks. Maybe a dumb question, but has anybody tried returning any of these items without a receipt and gotten store credit value of the clearance price? Just a thought...

..... You're already getting stuff for a penny. Don't try to scam more money out of them off the deals.

for the little picks and tweezers and all of that other christmas special stuff, its all 'no home' which means its either in overhead somewhere or laying around in a clearance area. they came in these massive boxes and theres likely only a couple of them left, so if they are in the overhead they are probably in a marked or unmarked box with a bunch of other little christmas specials. theres a few diff things that can happen to em:
boxed up in overhead, happy hunting
sitting open in clearance area
randomly hanging on a clip in an aisle
stolen
'zeroed out' this means they had a count on hand, hunted for it and ultimately couldnt find it so they manually adjusted the stock to show zero.

some stores have a no home area in the overhead, usually with a net and boxes clearly marked 'no home'. the little stuff up there is easy pickens if you can find it and the larger stuff is harder to come by if theres a deal hunter dressed in an orange apron...

Also decent day. Only the faucets were pennies. Huskies were 14. Bosch set was still 5 and the schlage were at 33.

I've probably spent 4 dollars in the past couple months and today I found first schlage penny. I've never found a faucet either woe is me :(. Are the faucets usually in the overhead or misplaced behind boxes on the shelves?

I have yet to find any schlage for a penny. Was out of town when I found those so grabbed them while I was there. All the schlage stuff is finally making their drops around me so patiently waiting for them to hit penny.

As for the faucets I've found all mine in the overhead. Just look for the names on the moens. Vale, Benton, Haysfield, Finley. Two weeks ago I was finding them in pairs. Lately been single ones left over. The print on the deltas are much smaller so you gotta look with a ladder or have the sku handy.

I guess I am blind most of the time, I never noticed areas that said No Home before today.

Anyone see any Goodies In there?

Has anyone used Binoculars to search for penny Item?

Is it me or are the employees getting more annoyed that you are searching for discount items and using the pro desk. Some days I feel like I'm just a stalker for low priced items.

Back pack up to $99 at a store that showed $25 on computer. I found earlier that milwaukee used the same bar code for two items.

Sold two of my garage door openers. Sold one to a neighbor for a penny (560EVG) thinking I was buying some good will a month or so ago as his broke. He came back this weekend asking to by the HD220 for a friend of his and I said $40. Acted like I was ripping him off. Lesson learned everyone gets charged equally. I don't buy the stuff to make a profit I buy what I need or when I randomly find a penny deal.

It seems like I need to move north a little to CT,VT as you guys seem to clear house with penny deals.

You should have told him to kick rocks and have his friend go buy one at full price! That's insane. :dunno::dunno:

Sadly that behavior is far too common. Same goes when doing business with family/friends. I don't mind doing a favor for a friend but find it annoying when they expect me to donate my time for them but they think discounting their services 5% is the same favor:eyecrazy:

Not so much in CT, VT and NH seems to be the ticket.
