Grabbed a $69 Lincoln welding cart. They're the same price on the website. It was either that or the $50 Blue Hawk one at Lowes. I figured this would be at least 10 times more rugged.

That same cart went to top stock when they reset about six months ago. One went to clearence rack and is still $69 dollars.

Has anyone selling through ebay/paypal had someone request shipment to a different address? This buyer listed a PO Box and a street address in the same state but then requested to have it shipped to the street address. My understanding is that I would no longer have seller protection if I did so.

Maybe because only USPS can ship to PO Boxes and you are shipping via UPS/FedEx?

Such as:

Joe Blow
PO Box 100
123 Main Street
Boston, MA 12345

and he wants it shipped to the street address not the PO Box? If that's the case, no problem. UPS or FedEx would ship to the street address anyway.

If he requested a different address than what comes up by eBay, I would cancel the order, then tell him to re-order it and update his shipping address.

Its USPS, it just looks like they put their PO Box and their home address and then after paying they asked for it to be sent to the house address. Problem with that is if they say they never got the item then I would be SOL.

Wonder if it still shows in inventory even if its been pulled already. Went to go look and some MET was in the tool section.

This one store I knew had the Malibu lights on the shelf, but all gone today.

Friday one store had a bunch in the tool section and a cart full of stuff. Was looking to grab a thing or two but there were so many around never got an opening. I think they were going through the pliers and pulling things out. Bummer.

Yeti's are great don't get me wrong. But when I can score a BIGGER, CHEAPER Pelican I will do it every single time!

I will be on the lookout for more of the coolers because at half price it's a great deal! I am also on the hunt for the Toro Electric Blowers I posted I sold all mine the same day I purchased them.

There are better options than the Yeti for much better prices.
My $50 150qt Rubbermaid is about the bottom of the barrel but $5 in ice every 2-3 days will take a LONG time to add up to the cost of a Yeti!

I've been lurking for a few weeks, but found my first penny items today at the South Brunswick NJ store: Milwaukee 13" jobsite workbox (SKU 1000044808) - two of them. Unfortunately the employee scanned them at the top of the ladder, found they weren't in the system, and called the manager. I took one at $18, even though they scanned at $0.01. The manager probably took the other one for himself.

Come down to South Florida and put your Rubbermaid cooler on the deck of a boat for a couple hours in the middle of August then we can talk about money well spent.

However, I do agree that for average daily use you don't need a $200+ cooler.

Not to mention the lid won't break off after a few hours of use. I mean to each their own. I bought my yeti for 20% off through REI, got the 65qt and it's been a great investment. It's a good cooler, overpriced? Eh maybe, anything worth anything is overpriced. This whole arguement is like saying you shouldn't buy a nice house because the shithole up the street doesn't have a leaky roof.

Or if your one of these wannabe redneck/country kids that only needs a cooler for beer once a month you need a yeti. Apparently it's a requirement or something [emoji23][emoji23]

Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Yeti's marketing team hit the nail on the head. They are not selling a cooler, they are selling a lifestyle.

Yeah that's what I am going to do. I figure it will likely get to buyer either way.

If they send you an alternate address to ship to through Ebay messaging then Ebay will consider that an approved address on ok and youre covered. I do not know the paypal rules.

I managed to purchase one of the Keter Fusion sheds at $250.03 a couple of weeks ago and had the store hold it for me on will call. When I went to pick it up over the weekend initially they couldn't locate it so the garden employee and I were walking the store to find it and I followed him into the employee-only shipping/receiving area. There was a treasure trove of penny items back there and someone had handwritten 'Damaged. 1-cent.' on all the unopened items. Not sure if they were going to be sent back to the mfg or thrown in the compactor but it sure was enticing.

What's funny is that the shed I purchased was on the very top shelf back there and it dropped to a penny in the system 4 days after I purchased it. Someone had put a yellow 1-cent clearance tag on it while they had it in storage back there which I could clearly see from the ground. After the employees brought it down they pulled the sticker off hoping I wouldn't see it. When I asked if I could return/re-buy at the current price since I hadn't even picked it up yet they refused saying they couldn't reduce the price anymore since the $250.03 was the last clearance price. I knew this was total bs but went along with it and since I already sold it for $650 on CL I wasn't too upset.

It's not bs they won't return it and sell it to you for a penny.

OK.....need someone to confess if this sounds like you......

Saw what I have to believe is a GJ member (older gentleman, gray hair, 6 ft tall) at one of the MD/VA/DC stores today (store was located in Alexandria, VA) working to score a deal. Watched as he rolled one of the large orange ladders down one of the aisles of the tool corral, look all around him to make sure that no employees could see him, climb to the top, and open the fencing that surrounds the overhead storage rack. He then grabbed two Bosch reciprocal saws and two Skilsaw circular saws, shut the fencing and climbed down with his booty and a big smile on his face (it took him two trips to get everything down). Not sure if he got any real bargains, but there were plenty of employees in the area at that time who would have willing helped him, but he made it a point not to draw attention to himself.

Not sure if he is one of the MD/VA/DC folks who are active on the site here or just a innocent body who just wanted to get what he wanted without waiting, but next time I see him I will take the time to introduce myself and see if we can join forces to bring Home Depot to its knees by buying them out one penny at a time.........

No, it's bs that they said they couldn't discount any more off the $250.03 price because it was on 'clearance'. I purchase items at the $**.03 price all the time at other stores that take off an additional 10-20% using Lowe's or HF coupons. I even purchased the same shed at other HD's for $250.03 minus $50 each just for me asking.

Just a heads up alot of the husky/milwaukee/dewalt items cleared out of the system today. So they should all be pennies. dewalt bit sets, husky hand tools, milwaukee had a few items like tin snips. Haven't been following closely lately as priorities have shifted but managed to go out on lunch and at least have look on the computer

Good to know I have tomorrow off so there are at least 6 home depots I plan to visit tomorrow. Possibly up to 9 depending on time
