Think my sell return rebuy dreams ended on the quiet dewalt compressor lol. But they are coming down too!

I bought 3 of the those the Saturday before last for $90 a piece. They were a a different price in the PCA at each store. :headscrat

Am hoping to do a rebuy/price adjustment if they drop in price.

Talked to a Home Depot employee in Colorado who was updating the clearance endcaps and he had a cart of Penny items said he couldn't sell any of them or he would be instantly fired.

If he sold you a penny item knowingly I would expect so. I would fire him.

Come down to South Florida and put your Rubbermaid cooler on the deck of a boat for a couple hours in the middle of August then we can talk about money well spent.

However, I do agree that for average daily use you don't need a $200+ cooler.

lol I've done it once a bunch of times but most of the boats I spearfish off of now have coolers built into them. I leave my cooler iced up in the truck at the dock to take fish from the boat to the house.
I helped with a BIG boy built into a Bandit boat last year. 3" foam, plywood, and fiberglass, it'll hold ice for 2 weeks! I'd probably build a cooler before spending the money on Yeti. I'm more about function than form on a lot of stuff.

I'm going online to buy a Yeti right now, how does that make you feel. You seem very hurt about this situation.

Masters PM me and I'll tell you where they are

I've got a "cooler queen" buddy down in Little Torch by Big Pine that works in Miami from time to time. If the pelicans you posted are still available let me know, I'm sure he could use at least one.

They're in there. Found the 205 pc under a few 205's.

If anyone needs some of the respirators, message me. I have no use and I'll ship them at cost to ya. Have 4 pair. I'm still really interested in buying some Malibu lighting.

Do most home depots have the a scanner somewhere in their stores, or do you need to actually check the price at the checkout to see?

lol! Do what you want. I've been around a LOT of commercial fishing boats lately and the only places I've seen Yeti's are at West Marine, in the back of teen ager's trucks, on the back of the million dollar bill "fishing" yachts, and a few high end charter boats.

Let me know when he's ready to purchase a good durable product. This was never a debate and I'm not sure why you are fighting this. Sure you can use your rubbermaid cooler all you want, and yes you could build your own if you please. Drop that fiberglass cooler once and it's broken, use your rubbermaid as a casting platform once and you bend/warp the lid. I personally have used cheap coolers in the past but the quality does not compare, that's my point.

Back to the deals!

I just don't get it. I mean no one cares. Let it go pal. I understand that you don't like a brand name, why keep bringing it up. If people want to buy a cooler for 300 bucks because it makes them feel better then go for it.

I have a 00 civic that gets 35mpg, I'm not down at the Honda dealer bragging about my mileage to people buying brand new ones. Lol

Well, I haven't done much hunting lately like a lot of other guys, but I just decided to hit up a store to hunt for the 205 piece husky set to carry in the truck. None to be found, but I did find a 252 piece set from a while back -

It's definitely used, and is missing some pieces. Came up as not found so they just gave it to me. Loss prevention walked me out. Cool guys. Now I'm back inside hunting some more.

I have asked this before.. Anybody work for HD know.. I hate to find out that sco csr are being fired for letting penny items go through..
I would rather leave the item and keep their jobs... No matter what the item is.

Hd Corp says HD should honor penny item, but if damn jerk managers are firing people for their mis-management system of not controlling floor inventory. Then it should be managers getting fired...

Getting deals are good but if it means someone's job... Then its no longer fun, hobby or side $$ for needs.

Hope they got a good deal on one of them. I think it's a very fair price as it seems like a great product to have. I will have to go back when I have more time to confirm the actual price as that tag was from 2015. This was also shoved in a corner like somebody else put it there.

Question for those who acquired Husky cabinets - Did anyone get the base cabinets? I recall folks saying they were a pain to assemble but mine say pre assembled?

I purchased the display cabinet, one 5 drawer unit and then two base cabinets with doors. I liked the stainless top b/c I can push them all together and have a little work bench ish area for garage.

They were pennied out system but they were not going to price match for me. I bought them a few weeks ago when they were at 35ish per cabinet.
