Store near me has 24 of the Milwaukee Jobsite boxes for $8. I wonder how many I can pack into my Jetta.

Question for those who acquired Husky cabinets - Did anyone get the base cabinets? I recall folks saying they were a pain to assemble but mine say pre assembled?

I purchased the display cabinet, one 5 drawer unit and then two base cabinets with doors. I liked the stainless top b/c I can push them all together and have a little work bench ish area for garage.

They were pennied out system but they were not going to price match for me. I bought them a few weeks ago when they were at 35ish per cabinet.

I got two of the base cabinets with doors. Just finished putting together the second one this weekend. It's not that hard at all, just lots of little screws. I also bought some swivel casters at HD (full price :\ ) and am very happy with the cabinets.

You mentioned pushing them together to make a work bench. The only problem with this is the doors are mounted on the outside of the frame, so you need some space between them to open the doors. Not a problem for me as they both fit under my Gladiator workbench with plenty of space on each side, but something to consider.

Nice!! Easy sell on those. Quick question, where are you guys finding the Malibu lighting? Lighting section, or somewhere outdoors? Is it pretty much every store at penny status?

Also saw these log racks..By date could be penny? They had a TON of em. Didn't have time to check. Very good deal. I spent damn near $30ish building my rack out of wood cause i couldn't find these in my store at the time.

Also, anyone know if these heaters continue to fall and go cheaper or at some point they get pulled to next season?

Pretty sure it is nationwide as I believe the company went under. For me they have been in the lighting section on a clearance end cap for some time now. Of course the store I was banking on, which had a whole end cap last week has disappeared this week. Bummer.

Also a local store says they have 5 205-piece sets but in the PCA they are still $25.06. None to be found on the floor though.

I have to ask, have you found a good use for these?

Great for storing open boxes of screws, nails, electrical connectors, etc. Right now they are occuppying space in the basement, but as I begin to clean out my garage (as well as my sons) believe that I can put some of them to use. Not sure if I will put all of them to use (that is what is nice about a penny purchase, if you can't use all of them you can give them to friends/family without too much pain in the wallet).

This went penny a long time ago around here. I jumped in at last clearance and bought a ton of 600w transformers. I would only flip this stuff, brinkman owned Malibu and they went out of business. Meaning if you put it at your house your flying without a warranty on a mediocre product.

Gotcha. Next time I do some Home Depot runs will be on the lookout for em. Are they worth it at last clearance price whatever that may be?

Looks like all the husky secure-lock hooks were rtv'd out at my store, doubt someone would buy all 100+ pieces of them even at last clearance price.

I'm not sure what the market is right now but I would imagine so. I'm sure they're fine to use. I just didn't want to start a new setup obsolete right off the bat. I think I made 50-60 bucks on each one. All online sales, I don't do a lot locally.

18 is the answer to the riddle.

They pulled a whole pallet down from the rafters and took it over to the Contractor pick up. 2 guys helped open all the boxes so I could tetris them into my car.

You need a roof rack. Can't be clearance shopping without any space to put the stuff.

I had bought a bunch from a few different stores to save to go along with future purchase of gladiator garage storage systems since the husky hooks work on gladiator tracks.

When I went back for some more at another store that had a ton of them they were gone. Into the trash I bet as they just sat there forever.

My wife's got a Ford Flex company car I use to do my HD shopping in. Free gas and I can load that bad boy up with just about anything. :rocker:

I had free gas when I worked for a contractor and a Equinox. Not too bad of a deal. A truck would have been cooler but apparently those are reserved for the "field people", even though I was requested for a lot of the "hey can you go pick this up were out of...."

Agreed. New car is in the works with more storage area. Just one store today after a few errands.

Here's the cheap *** tip of the day, find someone who works at a bike or ski shop you know and ask them if they mind using a pro form. Save yourself a lot of money and upgrade!

Damn. I see what you mean. I was going to do the 4 drawer unit in the middle, a cabinet on either side and then the tall cabinet on one end. Well even if there is a gap, it would still be somewhere to put stuff. I knew this deal was too good to be true!
I couldn't find the 6ft workbench Anywhere. But for the 170 bucks I have invested, it's enough for garage storage

Thanks, it is pretty nice. My pops got that for me about 8 or 9 years ago been holding up well. I've moved it a couple times in the past couple years and its quite heavy now.

found a full pallet (12) of 1001 378 563 - the 200 pc Husky tool set that comes in a toolbox at $25.02 each. Hard to believe there are still unopened pallets from black friday.

Of course couldn't find a single one of either. Searched every overhead around tools and the no homes. Really grinds my gears.

Nice. Just went to a store that said they had 2 on hand but were nowhere to be found.

Nope cheap imposter to flexzilla. I tried one of these to compare. Doesn't even come close. The first 2 I tried had fittings that leaked and it's def not as flexible as the zillas.
