Local store to me had 3 they were buried behind the 250 piece set, this is the store where a guy admitted to me that theres a ebay seller there who hides clearance stuff

One store showed 23 on hand for me. So I'm sure they're in a box up somewhere. Or already got pulled to the back. Might try again this afternoon.

I actually got my first penny items today! Until now I had only found one, but I was denied the penny sale. Also found a Milwaukee M18 lantern for $40 (1/2 price). Also shown is the "penny" toolbox I ended up paying $18 for.

Masters The HD on Ochee and next to the 112 expressway had about 6 sets on Saturday they are in a clearance area that I just noticed for the first time. This store does not have clearance caps the section is in the middle of the tool department. They had those B&D battery boaters there too.

HaHad one of the workers use their portable scanner to give the current price on some bathroom fans, not much off of reg price. She also told me when the next price drop would be but be quick as there is a guy that comes by almost everyday and said he hits up all the local stores to buy up most of the clearance stuff.

Well tonight I went by my store, and found that the clearance end caps had been removed. I went around the racetrack and could not find it. I know the MET team was in this last week, so I am sure that I am a few weeks from deals. Also the computer was dang near under guard.
This one was Plano, right off 75/Central

Hit 3 stores today. I found 2 husky 14in rolling bag with bonus bag at 1 store. The other day it said they had 5 i only found the 2.
Then i found 2 of the of the husky tire pressure guages. Turns out there are 2 skus/upcs for the same exact item 1 with a 12/07/15 tag showed $2.53 and the other with a 1/04/16 tag $5.83. I bought the older tagged ones for a penny. Im not sure if the other ones are pennied i will be going back to check.
The last store was the one that had LP harass me for buying penny items a while back. I found 2 of the dewalt 50ft air hoses complete with couplers. They were in a box clearly marked on the shelf above all the husky air accessories. I could have used a yellow ladder or stood on an orange bucket and grabbed them myself but seeing how i am sure they watch my every move in this location. I asked an employee if they had any air hoses other than husky. He pointed to the box and said 'yeah these dewalts were from black friday'. He put the sku in and it showed a penny but i dont think he knew that i saw it. I asked how much they were and he hesitated and then said 'i think they are $20'. As he started to walk away he said 'let me know if you need them pulled down'. So i asked him if i could take a look at them. Instead oh grabbing them he told anothwr employee that i needed them down and she asked him if he checked the sku and he told her they were $20. So she got them down. I took my pennies to sco and left.
Im not sure if he didnt care that they were penny items or if he was trying to cover his *** by getting someone else to get them down. Maybe he knew that i was the guy that finds penny items. Or maybe they finally learned fron the last incedent to just sell penny items.
Either way i got what i wanted.

I haven't been doing the HD Clearance/Penny thing for very long, but hate when I can't find a computer that's obviously for public use because I hate confrontation and have been getting a good bit of resistance when asking to use one of the terminals. I also feel like employees are extremely suspicious of me when they see me constantly scanning the top rack and looking stuff up on my phone.
While hitting up a bunch of stores earlier this week during the workday, I saw a ton of customers walking around with fancy looking clipboards and calculators. I managed to find one that looked similar (complete with an attached broken calculator) at my house and decided to bring it with me today.
It worked like a charm! I did not receive any resistance when asking to use a computer at any of the 4 stores I went to (even from retirees). When they would ask what I needed, I'd just hold that clipboard up and say said I needed to look up a bunch of items.
Still had several suspicious employees creeping around trying to see what I was up to. Whenever I'd see them hovering in my peripheral, I'd just mash some buttons on the broken calculator, scribble some stuff down, shake my head and sigh. I did not have any linger after that, so I assume this combination was enough to satisfy them that I was not jacking credit card numbers, trying to crash their system or whatever else they think I'm doing.

Thanks for he heads up. Might check out some more stores this weekend. I had a trip planned up to Crystal River north of Tampa but it's going to rain all weekend. Not sure I want to camp in thunderstorms.
