I'll definitely update tomorrow. The LP guy that I talked to seemed reasonable so I figured I'd give it a chance. This store is usually a hassle for penny items but I haven't been denied one from there yet.

In the end he took my name and number and promised to call Monday after they finish their investigation and sell it to me for a penny or give it to me, "if that's SOP".

If there's one thing that's clear from this thread, it's that there's no such thing as SOP at Home Depot.

Menards 11% rebate started today!! Should be matched by Home Depot sometime soon.

I tried to do the rebate but they said there was no rebates for my store. Sent me like 30 or so cards in the mail for each individual receipt I sent. Is this east coast only or do I have some argument I can use to get them to honor it?

I found a Lindley that was item not found. No longer in the system. Must be close to dropping out everywhere.

Also found a lindley but the dumb thing brought up the attendant message and then we waited 10 minutes for them to figure out a price. They said $278 so I said screw that and left.

Call the number on your rebate status page. They do that every time. Eventually they will approve it. I've called 6 or 7 times so far on the last batch I sent in. So far they approved 14 of 17, gotta call AGAIN about the other 3

I think you have better odds since there's actually menard's up there. I did it 3 times on the 25 or so receipts I mailed. Nothing. I don't know that it's worth the trouble for us out here with no Menards. [emoji856]

yup just keep calling and tell them that all of your receipts are valid and within the dates specified on the form.

Ha, found the same one Friday in Augusta. Showing my friend the ropes. Saw the date and though thought the same. But found an open terminal in lighting and it still showed the $57. Go figure.

Don't know if same but saw these... Basically they got washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator hoses by watts on clearance isle.

For the Menards rebate I can tell you that if you don't have one in the area,they will deny the rebate.Still worth a shot though. What have you got to lose. Since we have Menards here, they approved all mine last time fairly quickly.Nice to get about $150 in rebates from them.

they were actually approving rebate on the returned Dewalt sets last time. I had to send in that receipt since it had my Ridgid drills and such and each time they put the Dewalt thru as well.. Go figure...Hopefully them damn Husky compressors will go .03 this week!!

I just did a rebate from Menards. I live in PA and work about 500 miles away in Ohio. They didn't have any issues at all, but i bought the items in the store.

finally found a clearance garage door opener, but its last years penny item chamberlain LW9000WF scaned it item not found sku on box was for the 950, manager sold it to me for 100, im happy battery back up and cell phone ready

been following here for a while trying to figure out how you guys find all the deals. ( i read the other thread a few times for details). best i can tell is you have more time to spend in the store than i can on my lunch break.... well today i picked up a 15ft husky 3plug extension cord for $3.33 and the date on the tag was Dec. 2015. Thought it may be lower based on its 3 months old. checked out the price check app and found they had a single plug cord for .01 and two in stock. looked for a few minutes around the clearance stuff and found one of the two. self check out was no problem. so i got my first penny deal.

is there a way in PCA to put in the sku # to check an item?

not deal today at my local store and the full pallet of husky compressors disappeared over night still 98.06 now showing 0 on hand, they had 8 still shrink wrapped on the pallet the other night.. Was also waiting for the $69 Makita 12v kit to drop, damn thing is back to full price at $139.

Can't seem to find any Moen Lindleys.

...........am I missing any or does someone want to add to the list? The lindley (satin nickel) didn't even show up in the PCA at any store I've been to. Seen them everywhere but they didn't seem to drop in the usual .06, .03, .01 way.
