For those compressors. The only way to know is to check the store, period. They aren't listed in the mobile app and HD.com will show them as discontinued. It *****, but that's what you gotta do. Unless someone else near you wants to hook you up.

Trying to help him out. 90% of the stores around us put them on the damn end caps and they disappeared at the 98.06 price.

Picked up a penny honeywell 7 day programmable thermostat, saw them on clearance for a while and it was tossed into a cart with a bunch of other stuff to make room for their Black Friday in April sales. Other stuff was some shark bite ex adapters, remnants of Malibu lights and some Cars branded kid flashlights.

LEATHERMAN "Wingman" multi-tool on sale, and made in the USA. Most places have it for $32. HD everyday price is a good deal at 29 and some change. Just checked two different stores and both have them now for $22. A great tool for the money, and less expensive than all the Chinese copies. I carry a Wingman everyday and find it very useful. Just thought I would pass on the tip to you guys.

Re: Home Depot Clearance Thread 2015

What big sale is going on, on thursday? they had stuff covered in plastic bags...

Tomorrow is the Ames cart for $20. I think there is a deal each day, but haven't seen a list of them. I am going to get the cart tomorrow am. My wife wanted one last year but I didn't know it until too late.

Roughly 6 weeks from that date. But not guaranteed.

Very roughly. The date on the tag is the date the item originally went clearance, not the date it went to the price shown so who knows how many .00drops it had since that date.

I have found that they sell pretty quickly at $150

Yeah that tends to be the offer I get mostly..been passing on that offer. Been getting $170 consistently. I usually buy a couple per day early in the morning(so easy to find),and usually up high where you can't really see em. And then throw a quick ad up, and usually within 30 minutes phone is exploding.

That sale was a joke. [emoji1304]

Found some 65qt pelican coolers though in the rafters. Still in the box not even trying to sell them.

This explains why the 22ft werner ladders that were clearance for $60.04 went back up to $99.

Damn he's in kutztown, 20-25 min from my local Home Depot. No wonder I can't find **** haha.

Those 4 or so stores are the barest I've ever seen. Their literally stripped. He's either an employee or in with one. I bet management would like to know about that little operation. Or by some miracle he's got the rights to buy clearance in bulk, but that's far off.

Found out through a craigslist ad where a lot of items in Allentown, PA are going.

www.friendlydutchman.net

He has a mini Home Depot. All recent clearance stuff in there.

There are liquidation companies all over the country that get truckloads of what they call "shelf pulls" which are what we call "penny items" as well as returns. They usually auction off the merchandise and charge a percentage of the sale and thats how they make their money then the profit goes back to the store/company that sent them all the merchandise.

There are a few around here that list brand new in box items all the time from shelf pulls and it used to be worth it until they were advertised on a local news segment. I got a few items for 80% to 95% off but now so many people know about it there are people dumb enough to pay full price or more for items.

They dont advertise where they get the merchandise from but I can tell they get stuff from amazon, costco, sears, home depot, staples and many more. They even have the option to buy full truckloads and provide a manifest of what is on the truck before they unload it to auction things individually.

Wow, this was selling like cake this morning at my local Home Depot. And check this out, customers were paying $15. Unfortunately, it appears my Home Depot is on top of its game, thus no penny deals for me

One husky and some penny Dewalt 35 pc and 40pc sets..

We have one in Chicagloland as well. I have bought several pallets from them. I have seen some penny items in there, so not all removed penny items are getting "crushed"... lol A lot of the stuff; however, is missing parts or something is broken. Prices have really gone up here as well. pallets that used to sell for 50-75 are now over 100.00. pallets that used to go for 100-150 are 250+.

Leave tom and stay at Biltmore until Monday and then go to some expensive resort called Grove Park Inn. Leave on Friday. Not sure if it is worth the 15 mpg less I get on suv versus sedan. Not to mention breaking away from family vacation to shop would put me in doghouse real quick.
