Well no joy on the Dewalt drill bits (which I could actually use!) but whatdya know,one Husky compressor left in the clearance bin, $58.40 OTD. And a ton of door handle hardware but I don't have a clue what to do with them.
I never knew about this site... till today... my website hits went through roof! Took me a while to track it down.! Thanks. PS: I have learned in life that not everybody likes me... Lucky for me... my wife of 42 years does. I don't know you either... but I like you until you prove yourself unlikableI like your train pic though. Yup, why if possible I'll choose offerup or wallapop, or craigs to sell if I can,or shipping is a real issue.
You know how it works also,you can sell high and sell less, or sell lower and move more stuff. Really all the same unless what you're selling is hard for you to get.
Just curious which stores you hit already? Trying to save myself some time looking tomorrow.

Shorewood doesn't have them was going to hit up the Joliet location the PCA didn't show any nearby except 2 on hand in Oswego yesterday but I'm new to this so I'm unsure how reliable that is

Question, I found a Mazz today and it has the black security cord on it, how would you go about getting it through SCO and getting the attendant to take off the security cord without them noticing that it's a penny?
BTW, I found 3 Mazz ( CP the penny ones) that rung up $199 at two different stores. Is that normal for some store's to Never drop the prices?

Thinking about throwing them in as add-ons something with all the other blackfriday stuff I have. Honestly no idea I was just happy to get them because it was the store that took the 24 1500 lumen lights from me after I had already paid.

Ring them up like you normally do, wave the receipt and tell them to take the security tag off.
I bought 2 Rachios that were in those stupid clear plastic cases. Scanned them in the cases, dropped 2 pennies in and told her to remove the cases for me. She saw the receipt in my hand and didn't say ****.
no pics then it didn't happen...

can anyone check if the black and decker battery packs pennied out? i got a stack of em but the store is far out and last price of $22.02 is too much for even one of em. TIA

It seems that its much different around where I am in Canada. All the latest items mentioned are still @ full price or being sold as a promotion such as the chamberlain garage opener. At all my HDs there is only a measly clearance table with junk, anything in the tool aisle that was even marked down once is nowhere to be found.

It looks like the employees are just on point. Around all the tools I can see inventory lists that look recent so they obviously have been on top of the tool section. That's all that really interests me in the deals anyway as I'm not a reseller.

Tried to price adjust a compressor today but they said only within 14 days (i'm at almost a month). I guess I could return/rebuy but I didn't have it with me, just the receipt.
Yeah I never understood why they pull that when you can just return the item itself.
I got one of mine price adjusted, I have one more to try with. If they dont adjust it I will literally just return it and see if it gets put back out on the shelf for rebuy.
I also wonder if you have a better chance of the price adjustment if you walk in with the item on a cart ready to completely return.

I thought about that. I'll put it my truck tonight and maybe try again tomorrow. If you return it do you have to wait to see it go back on the floor or you think I could rebuy it right away? Or wait a few minutes and go back and say "a friend told me he wants it now so I want to buy it".
Edit: This was the bport location that told me 14 days.

lol well she didn't understand what I meant why I said "i need either a price adjustment or return and rebuy it". she was shocked when it rang up cheaper.
Stupid question that I'm not finding. This morning I bought $35.03chainsaw at 1 store and went to another store 5 miles away (in same district) and they had 2 in Stock. When I went to buy them the self checkout lady scanned wrong Barcode first and it rang up 129.00. I looked at the computer when I walked in to confirm the 35.03 that other store showed for its price. When I pulled it up again after it rang up 129 it showed the price being there but with a generic blank space for the picture. It also didn't show it being on clearance at 129 even though when u ring it up it does. Has anyone ran into by ringing up the wrong Barcode "resetting" the price? Any thoughts on what did this and what (if anything) I can do? Thanks for suggestions.

It just hasn't clearances out at that store yet. I've had stores around me where the 14" chain saw will be clearanced and not the other. And then at the next store a few miles away the 16" will be clearanced and not the one I just bought. Or even at a couple stores neither are clearanced. I think it's very hit or miss on where these have clearanced out at, unlike the husky compressors that have dropped to .03 level basically everywhere by now.
So when u look up prices on pca, it's not always that same price for all the stores on the right column as well (those in District)? Also, it is weird that when I walked in it showed the picture below, but after ringing it up with wrong Barcode it put up a generic white screen with home Depot written across it and this screenshot was no longer there.. Just weird, never encountered the computer changing is what bugged me out.

That is correct. You cant see remote store pricing nor can you assume every store is the same price as the store you are looking at.
The system does have the option of changing what the "local store" is, but I've never actually gotten that to work
Nope. Someone correct me if my wrong but the stores that pop up on the right are just the stores nearby. Not stores in the district. And yes clearance prices will vary even store to store, not just district by district. Generally the clearance stuff is the same store but not always, This is why you have to walk in store by store to check. Also the picture doesn't matter. I have one store that doesn't have a single picture show up in the pca. At first I thought it meant that item was OOS but It will still show in stock even if the item doesn't have a picture.

was this marked as clearance, or you just knew what to look for?
Last one I found, PCA was showing OOS and I spotted it way up in rafters in some odd place like plumbing. Had 179 clearance tag on it. Cost 63.
