Funny noticed the same thing in some stores today..also here are a few things I saw today..Is the Ridgid miter saw worth it? Anybody own it?. It's actually hiding in rafter..

I own it. Its not bad for 150.00. Same price I paid 6 months ago they haven't moved in forever. The laser is a joke though as it is one of those that bolts to the side of the blade.

I borrow a friends rigid 12" miter too much and both he and I like it. ALL my local stores show inventory of it though, so I guess it's probably not clearance in my area. I'll have to pick one up if it is, though.

Just had a hard attack.... found to Pelican Coolers these were the 65 quart larger ones not on display, had to use the little yellow latter. Took it to checkout..... 299

Thought they would be 75 bucks. Then looked at the pick I posted a while back the one on clearance was the 45 quart. Oh well.

lol how many awkward looks did you get while loading your car?

Several lol. A guy with a big Ram pickup drove by probably wondering how those are going to fit in that car. After I spotted them I ran back home took out my passenger seat so I would have a chance at fitting them. 4 in side the car and 1 stuffed in the trunk. The trunk lid wouldn't close all the way though.

First time posting but was in the local HD tonight and pulled up this thread. Saw the Homelite chainsaws went over into the isle and saw atleast 2 on a shelf above my head but not in boxes. Was able to reach up and get them off the shelf they are 16" but being they're not in the box at all and didn't have a UPC. Anyone have any ideas to get them for cheap at the store? It did they pull them out of the boxes so you can't scan them yourself for cheap? Never tried finding these deals before.

I don't know the SKU off the top of my head, but if you read my signature it explains how to use the in-store computer.
The chainsaws should have a model number on them. You can use the computer to search for that model number, then it will show the SKU number (and the price). Take a pic of the screen and show it to the cashier so they can punch in the SKU.

Good to know so you can look up open box/display models in the future

Here's the sku for you. As spn said read his signature. Look up what the price is on the computer because your store isn't guaranteed to have them for this price. But if they're the $35 price take it to customer service and give them the sku and they can ring it up using that.

You guys should wait a couple weeks to buy all these hidden compressors

These were at my local store where items don't make it to .03 status very much and MET teams are good at what they do. The store just dropped to $45 today, yesterday morning on my way to work they were $98. Didn't want to risk not getting them at all.

Everytime I've gone to buy a compressor (Dewalt or Husky) the SCO attendant comes running over to help me scan. Especially tonight when I roll over with 5 lol

how reliable exactly is On Hand total in the PCA. Local store showed 1400watt husky work light 6 on hand but I could not find anywhere and when employee puts in sku it came back as none in store.

Also homesite pressure washer showing $27 in PCA but none in the stores I was able to get to today sadly. One store I couldn't get to showed 2 on hand...

Did you sneak them all through or is the store ok with penny sales. Can't imagine you scanning 6 huge butterball boxes if they were a holes

Did a test with my g/f when we found them. She got one through SCO while I did the distraction of the sco lady asking her to scan mine (we approached separately). SCO said "No pennies"........manager said no pennies.......By the time the SCO said no pennies, my g/f was out the door with the first. So we came back the next morning at 7am and put 5 of them on a flat cart with some filler items and walked right up and did them all at once. The different old lady at the SCO just said thanks and that was it.

We don't need the roasters so they're being used as christmas/b-day/whatever gifts to friends.

There's really no need to over-analyze things at SCO. We both take a look at the person at SCO and gauge how nice we think they are. We also try to time it correctly or have the kids ask for stickers. :D

That's real world.. I don't see how the one poster is saying he's doubling his $$ and sold before he even leaves HD store.. And how in less then 4hrs, people are sold out... Lots of??

Sometimes things move better and faster than others. I've posted things from the parking lot and sold that day, on the other hand I have a garage full of stuff that's not moving at all [emoji23]

I'm finding out the dewalt compressors sold much better than the huskys. Got 130-140 for the dewalts in less than a day. Not even offers on the huskys @ $130. We shall see.

At what point to do you start returning non-penny items and let HD deal with selling it? lol

I think the name probably has a lot to do with it.

Same thing I'm finding. People are obviously more familiar with DeWalt I'm guessing.

Does Home Depot have coupons like the lowes coupons? Like the 20 off 100 or 10 off 50 or 5 off 25 or just a blanket 10% off?

No reason to get aggravated about idiots. When I get lowball crazy offers I just reply back God Bless You or something similar..I sold all mine thru an app for phone called Offerup. Sold each one for $175ish. Couldn't keep them more than a few hours at most. I kick my self that I just didn't grab pickup truck and wipe area out as soon as price hit, although I did do okay.:willy_nil

Right now I seem to be having trouble selling them damn chain saws. Guess many know they are junk as they keep being called..Luckily only got a few to sell.

That's because people think dewalt means quality. Generally people are stupid.

He's not right, but he's not wrong. You giving the buyer the receipt? If not, what's the warranty worth?
